For such high reviews on Google, I was shocked at how.... not-so-good the food was. The asada and chicken tacos lacked flavor and were dry. I would have given this place 2 stars but their salsas saved the tacos 1 star for me. Their hot sauce habanero-based and it was so good! Overall, I don't recommend coming here. You can find better tacos elsewhere in my opinion!

Structure: It is a food truck with a permanent attached and covered patio. No street signs so you'll need to look for the signs on the truck itself. Food: This place is amazing. Good Mexican food is hard to come buy in PDX and good central american cuisine can be even harder. Look no further. Not only are the people who own/operate this cart the nicest freaking people on the planet but their food is downright terrific and affordable. "Authentic" doesn't even begin to cover it. The vinegar slaw which accompanies the papusas is quite possibly the best I've ever had in my life. Also, better al pastor and pollo tacos here than at most taquerias in the city. I wish it was closer. But then it would be overrun with annoying people. But they they'd make more money. But then it wouldn't be the same. Life is full of paradoxes.

The gentleman at the window was helpful and friendly. We placed out order - taquitos, asada burrito, carnitas quesadilla, 2 Lengua tacos and 2 cabeza tacos. The food was ready in an appropriate amount of time and we went home. That carnitas quesadilla was decent sized, had great flavor and the grease factor was ok. The asada burrito was a good size and the rice, beans and asada all tasted great. The balance of these felt off - not much asada. The taquitos were good - nice flavors but could be crispier. The tacos were both really tender, flavorful and had a decent amount of meat. I wouldn't come back for the burrito but the other items we got were really good.

What I found (see photo) was a mash of potatoes, refried beans & cheese; as i moved some of the contents around, i did notice some very small cubes of ham. But, Not one bit of bacon or actual sausage did i find ? It was pretty disappointing. I expected to get some real bacon pieces, and real sausage in there .. am i wrong to expect that ? The price wasn't exorbitant, so i guess theres that. I will say the service was great , ambience was fine , so I don't want to be super critical of the place in general.. and, Im not saying don't ever eat @ Gresham Burrito House by any stretch... just maybe avoid their breakfast burritos :) Have a nice day !
