It's kind of misleading there's a full size restaurant inside the strip mall. I don't know why that is such a weird concept to me. Upon walking in it was pretty evident we were at a locals place. We opted to sit at one of the dining room tables. They had half the dining room blocked off, I'm assuming because it was getting later and slower (8:30ish) I ordered the Alfredo pasta and my partner has the roast beef I believe. My pasta was really good, a fair size serving with a slide of garlic bread. The server was friendly enough. Nothing to write home about. The dining area was super quiet, and the noise from the bar didn't carry over. We will be coming back here when I get another pasts craving. The prices are super fair compared to around town, and the food was good.

Regardless of how full the dining room was, or how many people are waiting to be seated. Theiy have Greek, Italian, Mediterranean & American, serve veal, which is getting more difficult to find every year. I've never had a bad meal, and I'm fairly certain I've partaken the majority of the menu. My absolute favorite is their Ribeye Steak! Fresh, crunchy dinner salad, homemade Bleu cheese dressing and a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. They'll even do substitutions without charging extra most of the time. While the decor is definitely dated, it doesn't matter, they put their money into excellent food & service. I really could care less if a restaurant is beautifully decorated. I want the food to be excellent. Excellent place to eat, they also deliver! Worth the drive to Peters Creek for an intimate dinner or large group!

I always take my order to go but the atmosphere inside is really nice, there are always families sitting and enjoying their meals. The to go service is quick and the folks at the counter are really nice. I like the semi open kitchen design, it's cool to be able to say hi to the chefs and see where your food is coming from. The portions are huge so I always have leftovers, which I also appreciate. The unsung hero at this place though is Joe, the delivery driver! He braves the icy roads, the dark winters, and the long summers to provide great delivery service to the neighbors nearby so you are sure to get your food quick, safely, and while it is still hot.

This place is an absolute gem!…read more We came here today and everything was phenomenal. The gyro was perfect, the potatoes and salad were delicious, and the custard dessert was out of this world. The service here is outstanding. It feels like getting lunch or dinner from your own Greek Papou. They are incredibly generous and welcoming, which makes the whole experience so special. To the people complaining about the prices: anyone who's been in Alaska knows that sourcing and buying quality food here is expensive for both restaurants and customers. The prices here are VERY fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. Yes, the restaurant is obviously small and tucked away in a little aged strip mall, but that is part of its charm. If you want authentic, incredible Greek food made with love, come here. Tip: If seating is tight, just get it to-go! We will absolutely be back.

Some of the best travel experiences happen completely by accident, and Antonio's was exactly that…read morefor us. We had actually set out to visit a nearby Manila bakery we found on Yelp. As we were driving by, we noticed Antonio's and decided to stop in. From the outside--and even when we first walked in--the place was completely unassuming. To be candid, it looked a little worn around the edges. If you're someone who judges a restaurant by its appearance, you might keep driving. That would be a mistake. What followed was one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip to Alaska. We ordered a couple of items, but the owner insisted we try several additional dishes. As vegetarians, we're often limited when exploring new cuisines, but not here. Every plate that arrived was fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care. The experience was a revelation. It made me realize that I've probably never had authentic Greek food before. The Greek dishes I've had from chain restaurants, food courts, and grocery store offerings don't even belong in the same conversation. The ingredients tasted fresher, the flavors were more vibrant, and every bite felt like it came from a family recipe rather than a corporate kitchen. What elevated the meal even further was the owner himself. He spent time talking with us, sharing how he ended up in Alaska and telling stories about his journey. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. I've traveled extensively and eaten at restaurants across the country, and I can confidently say Anchorage is fortunate to have a place like this. Antonio's isn't just a restaurant--it's the kind of hidden gem that deserves national attention. Frankly, it belongs on a travel or food television show. If you're in Anchorage, do yourself a favor: ignore appearances, walk through the door, and trust the food.

I was a bit upset, but I just ordered a short stack of pancakes. (W/Strawberries and whip.) I asked for grape juice, and nope. None. Everyone else ordered and we got our orders fairly quick.
