In short: I paid for a visit where my concern wasn't treated, was given a redundant prescription, and then was billed again on top of my copay. This feels far more like a billing racket than medical care.

HOWEVER, her front desk staff are unfortunately a poor reflection of her office and the standards she sets. The communication is always extremely poor and sometimes combative, especially from Natasha, (if needing to reschedule, running a few mins late, needing questions answered before spending thousands of dollars, etc.). I've not once gotten an apology for any inconveniences or discrepancies and they make it really difficult to reach the doctor unless you're paying over $100 to see her in person (and good luck with getting that appointment any time soon). As a person who has been a patient since January, I feel like I deserve a little more respect with regards to my time and sensitivity with regards to my needs. Thus far, the only person I can compliment is Brittany. She seems genuinely nice/helpful. But she is rarely the person that I am communicating with.

I want one who isn't creepy, who works fast, who is nice, and non judgmental. Aleya is all of those things. I started going to Aleya a few years ago. She was much better priced than my prior electrolysist and worked faster than he. In a few sessions (probably about four months. This stuff takes a little time), I was having noticeable results. Her machine also hurt less than my prior experience. She also kind of acts as a therapist (haha, comes for free). Up to this point, I basically am hair-free where I started. The Physician assistant overlooked three brown raised spots that were pre-cancerous and called them…read morecosmetic. She also refused to take something that looked suspicious. She was trying to spread out the visits and neglected to remove and biopsy precancerous cysts/moles. I don't know if this is office policy and the doctor operates the same way but beware and do not trust the physician assistant . especially something as serious as dealing with possibly getting cancer.
