I had several problem windows - a dual pane to replace, a rock through a old single pane, needed a piece to go on a table, a seal problem on an old Anderson. I went in with all my measurements and pictures on my iPhone trying to figure it all out and they simply said, "let us come down no charge.". Ron came down measured, answered a million questions, left and called back with a very reasonable estimate. Within a couple of days had the materials, came back and had it all installed in less than an hour. This is the way it should be. However, it rarely is in this day and age.

The price was excellent, the quality of the product outstanding and all the folks involved from Paul, to Jennifer, to Brent and Austin who did the flawless installation, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Great product, great price and fast and highly professional service. They show up on time and go beyond to make sure everything is done right, including installing our new window blinds which we had previously bought elsewhere. This is how things should be done but seldom are. Would give 10 stars if I could.

We were fed up with ice and water coming in the house and we knew we had to act ! The Anderson representatives came to us and spent time explaining and showing us everything they had to offer. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE! We ended up choosing custom made doors to replace the original two sets....gulp! Very very expensive....and my initial reaction was ...should we? Well....my husband wanted to go ahead, so I jumped on board.... When Mark and Tim came to install them..(20 degrees out!) I knew RIGHT AWAY that these fellows really really knew what they were doing....Mark has been with this company for over 16 years...he was amazing... Efficient, clean, dependable....experts all around.... SO.....BOTTOM LINE..... EVERY DAY I LOOK OUT THESE DOORS AND SIGH! AHHHHHH.....WORTH EVERY DOLLAR......THEY ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL! thank you Anderson!

The sill is rotten, time to go. I also figure why not replace a few doors at same time. I tried to reach the Kennebunkport/Portland location where my windows came from. It is somewhere between 100% and 1000% impossible to reach them to discuss in a normal manner. Ie can I send you a photo of window and approximate dimensions so we can discuss budget? Nope- the local 207 number goes to a data center that wants to collect all our information before an "IN HOME CONSULTATION". Knowing a sales pitch similar to a used car salesman I declined. So my house will be full of Renewal by Andersen, except for 1 window. I dont care if I put a piece of plywood over it. I won't deal with them anymore. Oh, and read the rest of the 1 and 2 star reviews. Its not me.

I sent an email to Hour Glass to find out the cost to make new ones, and Dan replied promptly with an estimate. The cabinet in question is a corner cabinet, and the shelves are very odd shaped - six sides in total, almost a gem shape. I went down to Hour Glass with the most intact pieces of the broken shelves so they could try to recreate the exact dimensions, but the entire back side was too far gone - they were going to have to attempt to guess the length of the back sides based on the information I could give them. I picked up my new shelves yesterday and was thrilled that they fit -- and they look great. At all times, everyone I spoke to there was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs any custom glasswork done.
