After many delays one of the brothers showed you up with his 83 year old father in tow. He said I had five (5) minutes to sign the contract and make a downpayment since the concrete truck was already on its way (they had not even set the forms yet). OK... I signed the contract and went to get him a check. When I came back, I noticed that the footing for the fireplace was a separate pour from the rest of the building, even though it was shown as a contiguous (monolithic) pour. When I pointed this out to Ryan Sawyer he said it was OK, no need for it to be monolithic. I asked him to please set the forms as the plans called for and went walked away. Came back a few minutes later, and the forms were still not the way the plans showed. Asked Ryan again to follow the plans and he had a yelling fit. Obviously his customer service skills are about zero. Begrudgingly he cut his forms to give me what I wanted while having anger outbursts and yelling at me "that he will never do another job for me". Long story short - do not hire these people unless you are ready for some drama and disrespect. The quality of the work is not too bad, but of course they cut corners wherever they can (i.e. there was no rebar or wire mesh in any of my footings).

When it arrived they had changed the floor plan without even telling me, a wall that was optional was there when we said we didn't want it. Furnace kept malfunctioning in the first month, Boggs sent someone out 3 times to fix finally had to have my own furnace repair people come fix the problem. Out of the 12 windows in the house 5 of them have a haze in between the glass and 3 don't close properly. Fast forward to today, I'm having a new roof put on, mold in attic because the vent pipe one of the bathrooms was broken and just left and the ventilation for the furnace wasn't even being vented out of the house just into the attic. Where the two halves of the roof are supposed to come together weren't even level. So lucky I didn't have major leaks. In a nutshell DONT BUY A HOME FROM BOGGS
