Cynthia took care of us and recommended the Romulous Red and the Gladiator Gold and those were the best tasting beers I've had Really good recommendations! When the DJ got the there he played old school music and me and buddy absolutely enjoyed it he even busted a move and our server gave us a smile and a thumbs up Great food, great beer, great service! Will definitely be coming back p.s. to Saul Garcia you sat at the table in front of us pal and you were being a prick to our server all night.... not cool buddy. You kept asking her for rounds and rounds of water and she would check up on you and you would say you didn't need anything. Get a life.

And took responsibility So now I change my review to 5 stars. I came to Gladiators Brew around 2:50 PM to watch the Argentina CPV World Cup match. Around 3:10 PM, I ordered food. About five minutes later, a bartender came over and asked if I wanted something to drink. I told him I still hadn't received my food yet and asked if he knew what I had ordered. He said, "No, I just got here," so I pointed to the other employee who had taken my order. After waiting nearly 30 more minutes, I still hadn't received either my soda or my meal. I finally walked up to the bartender, and he said he was busy. About 10 minutes later, he brought my soda but never apologized for the delay or acknowledged the long wait. Another 15 minutes passed, and I had still not received my food. I flagged him down again, and he asked, "What did you order?" I reminded him that I had ordered from the other employee. I waited another 10 minutes with no food. At that point, it had been almost an hour since I ordered, so I finally got the attention of the employee who originally took my order. He simply said, "OK, OK." As I write this review, it's 4:02 PM, and I still have not received my food. I understand places get busy, but the lack of communication, follow-up, and even a simple apology made this a very frustrating experience. I came here to enjoy the game, but instead spent most of the first half wondering if my order had been forgotten.

It's a "dive bar", but clean and well run by the staff. The place is large, well-lit, has an e-jukebox, 3 pool tables, dart board(s), board games, and many TVs. Plenty of beers on-tap or in bottles, and you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they don't have the ingredients to make classics cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. No food is served, but they do sell bags of Twisted Pig pretzels ($4), which are available in spicy, medium, and original flavors. They're some of the best bagged pretzels we've ever had. Clancy's is a fun neighborhood bar with friendly service, good drinks, and lots of space to gather and hang out with friends or make new ones. Unfortunately, we heard rumors that it may be being sold, and that the theme/vibe may change. Stay tuned.

And to his credit the local literally told her it's fine. She told me when she heard a motor cycle that I would have to move out of my one seat, even though there were at least five around me, because the motorcycle from the person she had not yet seen was a "regular." NOPE. That is NOT how it works.

It was a Sunday morning and there were only about 10 people in the bar, and most of us were watching football on one of the many TVs around the bar. Liz was bartending and made some fantastic Bloody Mary's, as well as an intoxicating "Big Stick" cocktail that took me back to the Caribbean. There's an e-cocktail menu board behind the bar that goes through pictures of their offerings. Drink prices are very reasonable. They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring something in or have it delivered. Plenty of parking is available on street, or in a city lot, but there are several restaurants/bars and other businesses in the immediate area.

You still have to do the long, narrow walk past the bar like you're entering a low-budget runway show, and there's a single pool table holding court in the back. I've been there when it's empty enough to hijack the TouchTunes from my phone, and I've been there when it's so packed you're basically making new friends whether you planned to or not. The crowd runs 23 to 73, but it leans Millennial/Gen X in the most comfortable way possible. Music is gloriously chaotic. Friday DJs spinning Zapp & Roger and funky dance vibes one minute, then System of a Down or The Smiths on another night. Emotional range. But the one constant is The drinks are always strong. Not craft cocktail precious. Strong. The bartenders are heavy-handed and the prices are shockingly reasonable, which means two or three drinks here will absolutely set the tone for your evening. You've been warned. It's an easy yes whether you're popping in for one drink or accidentally staying all night.
