Have you ever dreamed of custom designs specifically for your Pets?! I certainly do! And yes I'm…read morethat pet parent. We're a unique breed and our Pets are probably treated better than your real children. Lol. I've seen her in the past drawing at Hana Tea. Her designs are amazing! Like seriously they are so life like and the details are on point! Pricing is super expensive! I'm not going to lie about that. But there's times where she does put out some specials and they're affordable. Sometimes you dream of having things and they mysteriously align during covid when you have a lot more time on your hands. I've gotten several digital specials. The most expensive was a custom order that was on sale. But I got to have both dogs drawn the way i envisioned it to be in my head. My dog was newly diagnosed with diabetes and some other things so she could not have a typical doggy bday, so I commissioned a drawing instead. The completion date was not until December but I inquired if I could have it earlier for her birthday gift. I asked if she could design a birthday party in a sunflower fields. She even added the Koolau mountains in the back. The piece was beautiful and everyone loved it. It was also my last favorite memory of being outside freely with the both of them disease free. Literally. Now she has dirty chai sketches daily for October. You have a chance to win a digital or hand drawn piece from her which is amazing. She'll do about 3-5 a day on YouTube. And if you don't win then don't fret. You can buy one later for $20 if you liked that particular theme of the day! But how to win is you just gotta be a good guesser so it's a hit or miss. I was lucky to have won in September and October. And I must say it's pretty intense in the chat rooms, but we all just need to chill out cause she's nice enough to do so many and for free! You can find her on Instagram: Sheilachenart. She does a lot of giveaways and contests. I just don't like to participate in the contests cause it stresses me out. One time I deleted my entry and had contest remorse. But check it out! We dont have our babies forever so something like this will be super sentimental in the future.

The few websites that do pop up have broken links and/or email doesn't work. I am originally from HI but live in Seattle now so I was mostly concerned about how I would get my folded cranes to be mounted. Cathy was communicative and clear on when I needed to mail the cranes by, when she would mount them by, and when the framing process would start. She partners with Pictures Plus for framing and was great at explaining the different options for frames/glass over the phone since I wasn't able to be there in-person. I would definitely recommend Cathy's services! Will definitely post a photo once our wedding photos come in.

After folding 1,000 cranes, we were ghosted by the person who'd agreed to put them together for us. With only about a month before our wedding, we got in contact with Cathy. She was immediately responsive, professional, deeply knowledgeable, and SO FAST. We texted about the artwork, signed paperwork, and had the cranes out to her that same day. Within two weeks, we received our finished piece, and were completely mind-blown. It is SUCH a gorgeous piece of art and stunningly put together. And we will have it in time for our wedding next week. Would 100% recommend Cathy over any other crane service out there!

Not to mention the henna design itself is excellent!!! I provided a few inspo photos, some motifs I wanted included, and let her freestyle the rest! It turned out even better than I imagined. Karissa works with you and the time you have -- whether that means thin vs. thick lines, heavy vs. light design (more whitespace), Karissa has it all covered. She and her colleague also did a great job for our guests! Very efficient, quick designs that everyone was so happy about. She also does travel around the island doing special events and occasional pop-up so keeping updated by following her is essential because she's simply amazing! I've been wanting some henna and with my work schedule it has been a challenge not to mention the pandemic has put a shift on some I used to see. Well I was fortunate to see her have another pop-up at Keep it Simple location in Waikiki another of my favorite place, she was just so comforting and calm I was instantly in zen though I was excited to finally have experience some of her spectacular art. She did have some binders filled with various images and prices which of course I saw several that instantly fell in love with but none struck my heart. Since she was still working with a few other guests I decided to glance at her Instagram and saw just what I wanted and knew it was it. 2022 will be four years since I lost my best best friend something I will never come to terms with and a Disney fanatic is an understatement and is not from Hawai'i but absolutely fell in love with the islands enough to move and settle here so with that she came up with my henna and gave her the freedom to do it all! She does have two types of Henna (brown/red color) and Jagua (black/navy color) I did mine with Jagua and reasons may vary so she will consult with you with what may work best. http://www.hennahappens.net is her site for any questions and appointment requests. Absolutely stunning art that gave me some peace and zen to celebrate the blessed life with a friend that's priceless. Thank you!

So shame to have that in a Hilton property and have NO ALOHA in hawaii. A guy greeted us and I thought he was another patron that just came from the beach. Not presentable at all. Plain black t-shirt, beach looking hair, not well put together. He was discouraging us from staying if we had no intention to buy & I have kids. The kids thing I respect because there's people that let theirs run wild, but not me & this guy is a witness to that cause I scolded mine in front of him telling them to stay close. Anyways, as a niece of a musician and teacher who lives in & is close family friends with the WEALTHY in Los Angeles, I was raised to appreciate art & with my son who's quite artistic himself, I figured visiting this place would help feed the soul, but NOPE! No pictures allowed but someone who left a review took a picture and posted it. Where's your response to them to scold them? You're so all about "respecting" the artists by shaming people that are just looking and can't appreciate their work. Btw based on multiple sources from searching "gallery etiquette" to educate myself and verify what this guy said, because I was listening respectfully - this guy is just a jerk (to put it nicely). Google is free. Don't let him fool you.

There's a lot of parking back there. My daughter just finished up her second session at Art Tent Studios. She took the late class on Saturday for grades 1-3 with Mrs. Okano. At first we didn't know what to expect with art class. We didn't know anyone who attended art class here but we just wanted to try because my daughter loves art. It was such a good experience. Her teacher, Mrs Okano, is so creative with all their projects. Each week they were working on something new and interesting. My daughter was always excited to be going to art class. It's really nice that the class size is small and Mrs Okano is a great teacher. She's very patient with them and has them really explore their own creative side rather than each kid just make a copy of the teacher. At the end of the two sessions there was an art exhibition. We got to see all of the art work from all of the classes they offered. My daughter had about 6-7 projects that she completed. You could really see her growth from the first project to the last. We signed up for another session with Mrs Okano and can't wait to see what new things my daughter will be learning.
