My pharmacist and another doctor told me the mgs were not correct. Rather than a professional response I was yelled at on a voicemail by dr bala who was irritated that I even questioned him. That was followed up with the two office managers ganging up on me when I went in to blast me in the office. Obnoxious, unprofessional and disgraceful

The office itself is top notch, as they moved into a newly renovated office less than 2 years ago--almost feels like you would be in a plastic surgeons office its so clean and modern. I never have issues getting an appointment and have seen various other doctors in the practice who have also been excellent. Other perks: weekend hours and late night hours, can drop in anytime for vaccines without an appointment, and they do all blood work right in the office so no need to make a separate trip to Quest or LabCorp.

I would not recommend making an appointment with Dr. Vissing…read more I scheduled and appointment for myself to establish a new primary care physician Dr. Vissing came in, read from the history in my pre-registration form, did a physical, and asked if I had any issues and if I wanted bloodwork. No attempt to establish any type or patient/physician relationship. I described the only issue I have been having, and he prescribed me an anti-depressant because it would also help with my symptoms, although I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with depression. Understandable that medicine can be used for treatment of other things. Totally irresponsible to prescribe me a new medication that is known to have side effects that can alter your brain chemistry and then tell me to schedule a follow-up in ONE YEAR. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the rest of the staff was fantastic

We've been with Clinical Associates since the mid '90's. I like my primary care physicians and the…read moreother specialists I've seen at the site. However, over the last 6 months, I have experienced MANY office communication problems. This is across the board with specialists and primary care physicians. The providers' staff DO NOT return phone calls or respond to messages. I had to physically walk into the back of my primary doctor's office, (without an appointment, and no one at the front desk) to get a referral for PT after calling four times with the request. The nurse was concerned she hadn't gotten the messages, and I showed her my call log to verify the contacts. This is just one example, we have had three other concerning encounters involving cancelled appointments (on their end), records not being forwarded to specialists outside the site, and an inability to schedule or reschedule appointments as no one returns our calls. Primary doctors and nurse practitioners retire or resign and there are no replacements, the existing doctors are stretched thin. We unfortunately, after 30+ years, will be looking for a location.

She has left several nasty messages for me regarding appointments. You can never get a hold of anyone on the phone, and it takes days to get a response from a message you have left. The doctors are sweet and attentive, but the front desk ladies are extremely disrespectful and do not CARE for the patients at all.

Their billing department is completely incompetent. They repeatedly billed BCBS with a code that…read morepaid them nothing and tried to collect from me even though every explanation of benefits or explanation of payment clearly states that the patient is not responsible for anything that the insurance company doesn't pay (other than the patient's co-pay.) BCBS and I had many phone calls with them trying to get them to submit the claim with the correct code. They continually use the wrong code and didn't get paid and kept trying to collect the money from me. Eventually, with Blue Cross Blue Shield giving them a special exception so that they could file their form even though it was past the deadline, they were able to collect some money from Blue Cross Blue Shield and I paid my co-pay. My visit was in March 2023, and they didn't get things straight with Blue Cross Blue Shield until July 2025. Here it is August 2026, and I got a notice that they sent me to a collection agency for the entire amount that they tried to bill Blue Cross Blue Shield! I again got Blue Cross Blue Shield on the phone with their billing agent, who says oh no, they pulled it back from collections after they received payment in July 2025. Yet the collection agency took 13 months to find me, since I moved out of state in April 2025. If indeed clinical associates had canceled the collection on me, the collection agency had 13 months to take me off their list yet they didn't. If you receive any bills from this practice, I suggest you look very carefully to make sure that you or your insurance company haven't already paid them.
