If you don't believe in chiropractic care .... just talk to Dr Menges and hear what he has to say. I was in the worst pain of my life. An orthopedic surgeon was planning on operating on my back within 8 weeks of my first appointment to see him. Luckily I sought out a second opinion and I was recommended to Health-bridge. Dr. Menges sat down with me and took the time to review my MRI results. Explained in detail what he saw and then drafted a plan to get my back issues resolved. I have been going 2-3 times a week for the past two months and my results have been nothing short of amazing. When I first started seeing the Dr I could barely walk, couldn't sleep in my own bed and driving my car was impossible. Presently ... I can do all those things with much greater ease. The office is professional and and the staff couldn't be any better. So my advice to the naysayers out there .... give Dr. Meges a chance, He can make your world a better place!! And the girls that work there are hot!!!! Bonus!!!!!

This is the best chiropractor I've been to! Both Dr. Menges and Dr. Orlando fix you up greatly!…read moreI've been going here for over 2 years now since I was injured in an auto accident. They fixed my back and neck that were SEVERELY messed up. Doctors at the ER said my back would never be the same after my crash. After 2 months of therapy, I was able to have 100% use of my back! Since then, I come for normal routine therapy. They use electrodes for your muscles to relax them. It really helps. They also have the massaging water bed, which puts you to sleep! The office staff is very down to earth. If you like to be joking and have fun, this is the place for you. You can poke fun and they give it right back. It's a very enjoyable atmosphere. They work with almost any insurance and the auto accident claim was painless. Didn't have to do a thing! Even without insurance, the prices are reasonable, around $40 a visit. They also do work with a payment plan if the price is too much to pay each visit. This is a much better place than the spinal clinic in Bel Air!! I recommend them to everyone I know that needs a good back or neck crackin!

On my second visit, ssked for a home exercise program from the therapist (who was professional) but was then quickly handed over to an assistant to get the home exercises. That didn't happen. In advance, I asked for a therapist trained in the McKenzie Method based on recommendations for low back pain. Phone person (who was very nice) checked and said that would be no problem. However therapist I saw, while familiar, wasn't certified. Place is jammed with older people (with potentially no/low deductibles) and, by listening to the patients checking in, a LOT of workers comp patients who are looking for reasons to not go or leave work. So ka-ching$$$, for Gold Medal every time they visit. Physical therapy services that are provided are adequate and not quackery but unless you have the in-office equipment they use at home, you have to come in. Younger front office staff complained loudly to each other about being understaffed. I chose Gold Medal in part based on Massage Therapy services advertised. Only to discover it's all out of pocket and they only have one massage therapist. Plus they haven't figured out that billing massage therapy as manual therapy is what works for insurance companies so it's covered. Actually went back to my doctor for a new referral and found superior service with another PT office in Bel Air. That PT worked with me the entire time, provided a home exercise program on my first visit, and asked if once a week would work with my schedule though no massage therapist on staff.

I'm always able to get in and out in a timely manner no matter what time of day it is. The receptionist onsite is kind as well as the one who answers the phone when you call to schedule appointments. The doctor is attentive and provides a great overview so that you understand exactly what is happening with your neck, back and / or spine. I will update my review after I complete treatment. I'm a special case due to having the genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). When I saw a PT location in Jarrettsville on the referral list from Johns Hopkins Genetics I was so happy, since it's unusual to find someone familiar with EDS in a rural area. Kevin McLaughlin is amazing! He's been working with me over the last 18 months and I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. Since my condition isn't curable, I go regularly for symptom relief and help getting things "back in place." I receive personal & hands-on treatment at every visit. All of the office staff are kind and helpful, and the business has a relaxed and fun, yet completely professional atmosphere. I have, and will continue to recommend McLaughlin's to friends & family in need of great care.
