Top of the line tables, hot or dry towels in the room and pleasantly decorated. One issue I have is they will only use their oils and other materials. My retired former tech would use Biofreeze and other treatments as needed. She also used lotion for my dry skin, sometimes with her oil for proper viscosity.

They started me off with the foot massage which was divine. It was hands down one of the best foot massages I've had this year. After a brief wait, another masseuse came in and I was asked to turn over so that she could work on my back. Thinking they start off with the back and then finish with the front, I turned over. The back massage, which ended with a hot stone massage, was good. The reason for my 4 stars was not because of the quality of the massage (I enjoyed them and plan on returning) but because I was expecting a full body massage, not just a back massage - and I think that expectation/anticipation made it a bit disappointing for me. Regardless, I'm returning again in January for a full body massage (already booked!) to see whether or not it's a back massage only or the full deal. And it's no loss for her because she has a waiting list that will enable her to still fill up the now vacant time slot. No loss for her, but sets me back over another month. No alternatives were offered to retain my appt. No thanks, I'll never waste my time or nor book an appt here again. I'll add that I'm a massage therapist myself for over 18yrs. I've worked with MLS players, an Olympic gold medalist, Ironman champions and many more athletes. There are ways to still address areas when/if athletes foot is present. I understand some people will lie about ailments just to get treatment, but that is the purpose of further inquiry which was not done here. I know BS when I see/hear it. I am a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy in my final year. Between my life as a cadet…read morewhich is super hectic and always go go go and my marathon running career (I have run 8 marathons and 12 half marathons to date and I am training for the Pikes Peak Ascent in August and Chicago Marathon in October) I tend to get really tense and tight. I got a stress fracture in my foot back in late September 2016 due to overtrain and not taking care of myself. During recovery, I began to get treatment from Matt pretty regularly. I have since been getting regular treatment from Matt. I ran a 10k to get back into the game in late November and PR'd by 8 minutes and ran a half marathon in December just 2 minutes shy of my PR. Since then, I PR'd my marathon in April 2017 by over 20 minutes getting me close to a Boston Marathon qualifying time (I am a male and 23 y/o so its 3:05:00 or less). I am using a really tough training plan to train for the summer leading up to Chicago and Matt has been consistently working on me. My legs weren't recovering very well over the past 2 weeks until Matt worked on me. After just 2 sessions, I was able to run my long run Saturday afternoon/evening without pain for the first time in 2 weeks. I will continue receiving treatment from Matt for as long as I can. I am fearful when I graduate as to not finding anyone up to any caliber like him.
