I have had great massages all over the world. Not expensive massages at luxury spas and I have been to the most famous like the Dolder Grand in Zurich, they are not great at massage even at $400. Wherever I stayed long enough, I searched out who was actually giving the best therapeutic massages in the area and tried them all out until I found the best. Moving to Colorado Springs made it hard to find someone of the caliber I was used to. I am so lucky to have found Yan. Yan is the best of the best. She knows how to find the exact spots that need attention and I walk away healed from whatever injury I came in with. Oh my goodness -- I feel like I struck gold with this place. Talk about a hidden gem! Yan is the sweetest, most intuitive and talented massage therapist I've ever had... and I've had quite a few since we move around a lot. She certainly knows her craft. I left feeling the best I have felt in awhile, and already booked another appointment with her for fire cupping. Additionally, I tried gua sha for the first time today on my back and my face, and I would highly recommend trying it out! I usually always do cupping, but will probably alternate between the gua sha and cupping now. If you're looking for a new masseuse, or some serious healing, then I cannot recommend this place enough. I've come here twice 5 months apart from Hawaii. Where massage places are a dime a dozen there, it's harder to find a quality spot in Colorado Springs that doesn't overcharge. Supply and demand I guess. I have yet to schedule a massage with the owner, but twice when scheduling there are usually appointments available within the week. The price is reasonable, the therapists are trained and the experience is soothing. The pre-heated massage table surprises me every time and I need them to turn the heat down but it's a quiet and relaxing environment. Definitely my go-to spot while I'm in the springs! read more

She is very professional, very polite, couldn't ask for better treatment and customer service. I've been going every 2 weeks since I started and plan to continue. Yan Mo is the absolute best massage therapist ever!!! She is very skilled and professional. My back was injured in a motor vehicle accident 8 years ago. Great experience here today. I had a deep tissue massage with Yan, who is also the owner. She really listened to me and did a fantastic job with my low back which is where I needed it the most. She was very nice, professional and calm. She performed cupping to my low back and explained it all in detail. Thank you. The salon is small, but quaint and clean. It has a very calming feel to it and it's comfortable and warm. If you need a massage therapist who has experience and knows what they're doing, go here and try Yan. I do not think you will be disappointed. She explains everything very thoroughly, is calming and professional and her rates are quite reasonable! My experience at Skyway was simply amazing. I called in and was able to get a same-day appointment with Yan Mo. I'll say up front that if you're looking for a review of a relaxing massage, this is not it. If you want to know what it's like to have your tight, non-compliant muscles molded into submission by expert hands, you've come to the right place. As an athlete, I prefer a 3-to-1 ratio of deep-tissue to relaxation massages. For this visit, I needed the former. Yan brought me into the room and after a short discussion of where I wanted her to focus (my back) she left me to get settled. When she returned, she told me to let her know if I needed more or less pressure while she worked. I wasn't sure what to expect, but let's just say that there's a surprising amount of strength in those small hands. From the first moment she dug her thumb into a muscle in my neck that I didn't even know existed, I knew I'd just entered into a beautiful relationship with my new favorite masseuse. As Yan continued to work through all of the knots and tightness in my back, I could feel the results immediately. I theorized that the reason Yan is such a sweet lady is because she takes all of her frustration out on the unsuspecting muscles of jokers like me who think they're tough. After a few minutes of work on my back, I was glad I hadn't mentioned my IT bands, but she found them anyway. My massage was a bit of a soul-serching journey: I laughed, I cried, I silently begged for mercy more than once. I wanted my mommy. And yet, every time she asked me if the pressure was ok, I found myself saying, "It's great!" Overall, it was absolutely wonderful. It was exactly what I needed. The icing on the cake is that Skyway's prices are super affordable. At $50 for an hour (and $80 for 90 minutes), I can afford to go for a massage on a monthly basis again. Before I found Skyway, I was paying $120 for a 90 minute session, which wasn't something I could do regularly. I usually prefer the longer sessions, but when my hour-long session was over, I didn't feel like I needed more time, nor did I feel like anything was neglected or rushed. Cyndi managed the time very well and I left my session feeling balanced and refreshed. I've already booked my appointment for next month and will refer all of my friends to Skyway. Hurt so good! Traveling and I didn't have much time so was blessed when Skyway could get me right in. My shoulders were hurting and hard as a rock. I can usually tell if a massage therapist knows they're doing when they zone right in on the problem without being told. After just a few minutes of general massage Kingsley bore down on my shoulders. He did an amazing job of getting the kinks out. I felt 10 times better afterwards. I let my back and neck problems get out of hand, and was in constant pain, and periodic spasm. I knew I needed some extensive work, and wanted to try Shiatsu. I found this shop on Yelp, and they live up to the great reviews. I saw Cindy several times, and she's amazingly talented. She found deep problems where I thought I was okay. Word to the wise; Shiatsu isn't for wimps. It's hard and painful, but I get results I never got from Chiropractic or PT. That said, my quality of life is far far better after just a few visits. Fantastic, legitimate, deep-tissue or Swedish massage and reflexology. I prefer deep-tissue. 90 minutes will melt every knot you have - great for pre or post deployment. I was in dire need of a relaxing way to start my weekend, I searched high and low for a place that was not only available for an immediate walk-in but somewhere that would provide a top-notch therapeutic massage. My friend had an appointment with Yan and told me how amazing her massage was- I immediately got on the phone and booked my same day appointment. I had a hard time finding the establishment because it was on the left hand side of a strip of stores, I had to turn around twice, but I eventually found it. Their curb-appeal is lacking, but that did not worry me, "it isn't about the wrapping paper, but rather what is in the box" was always my school of thought. Yan greeted me as soon as I walked through the door, by name (having never met her prior), which really made me feel welcomed. She ushered me to the the massage room and asked me if I had any problem areas to which I replied with "no" and she went to town on my neck, shoulders, and back. I was immediately put into a catatonic state, oh mylanta I was in a state of pure bliss. She was not only a professional, she is an artist. She found tight muscles around my shoulder blades and upper shoulders. Once she finished I immediately booked my next appointment for next week. Her prices are phenomenal! She charges $80 for a 90 minute Sweedish massage! Where in the world can you find a massage of that caliber for a price like that? I'll save you the energy, nowhere! Not sure why my post didn't show. I wanted to add an update that I went there this week after missing a few week because I was ill. Yan sensed I was still not fully recovered and knew exactly what my body needed! I usually take lots of deep tissue pressure in my shoulder blades and back. But she intuitively knew I could not handle the same treatment and worked on facial and head massage as well as the whole body. She also did gua aha on my neck and back areas. WOW! I have been looking for a massage therapist that is not afraid to apply pressure...I found her! Yan (Skyway Therapeutic Massage) was wonderful and I will be back. I have been in knots (neck & shoulders) for a couple of weeks now. A combination of sleeping on my neck wrong and stress from a family divorce. The chiropractor has helped but the muscle tightness and headaches remained. I no longer felt that anything was "out" so I sought a good massage therapist. I searched Yelp and thankfully found Yan. Yan is just incredible. I went to school for massage therapy and have had a lot of massages in my life, and the ones I've received from Yan are at the top of the list. I had pinched a nerve in my back and was in severe pain, so I found Skyway last minute and I asked her to do a deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for me. The relief was immediate and within 24 hours, the pain was completely gone! I've seen her since and am noticing improvements in my posture and the general level of well-being in my body. She is very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and calming. I like that she is willing to chat a bit but also seems comfortable working in silence. I can't believe how inexpensive she is and her massage center is both clean and comfortable. She is very cognizant of the pressure she uses and will ask if it's too much, that being said, she is perhaps the only massage therapist I've met that can actually apply as much pressure as I normally want for a deep tissue. She even offers supportive therapies from Chinese Medicine, like acupuncture, gua sha, and cupping. The Gua Sha treatment was very helpful for me and had noticeable effects, just give pubmed a search if you're interested in it as it has been evaluated clinically quite a few times. Bottom line: Go see Yan at Skyway Therapeutic Massage. She is a great massage therapist, and a caring, skilled human being. read more

This review is long overdue. I have been here to see Yan a couple of times and the first time, I have no complaints about. Great massage. The second time (this was back in early December, late November) , well, that was another story entirely. I explained that i was going out of town and that I had been to a tanning booth a few days prior, I would have waited until the redness was completely gone, but I was experiencing severe lower back and shoulder pain and desperatly needed relief prior to my flight the following day. I explained my problem areas and she seemed to be neglecting those areas. After a brief dialogue, it became apparent that there was a bit of a language barrior issue/ miscommunication and she thought that those areas "were okay". Then the next faux pas, she answered her phone during our session and proceeded to book another client. NOT PROFESSIONAL. Then, someone peeked their head in the door and started talking to her in Chinese. I'm naked under that sheet and would appreciate some privacy! Again, NOT COOL. Then, at the end of the massage, she proceeded to try to squeegie the lotion off my back with the sheet which, still having a little red in my skin from the tanning booth, nearly made me want to jump out of my skin it hurt so badly!!!! Needless to say, I was very disappointed this time around. (and unfortunately, my muscles still hurt after I left this time :( ) read more
