There was no one else there when I pulled into the drive-through. I still had to pull over and wait this morning. All I needed was breakfast potatoes and a large diet coke. Seriously, how is that a huge wait with no one behind me either? Plus, they brought out potatoes and no beverage. I was distracted, so it did not even dawn on me til I pulled into work. I remember when Wendy's was really hot and juicy as advertised. Not here or in most locations Ive been to lately. The burgers are overcooked and dry. The tomatoes were small, looks like they put the ends with the skin. Basically the food quality has gone seriously downhill. The only reason I'm not giving them a 1 star is because the workers were very kind to me. As a disabled Veteran I really appreciate that. At lunch, I went to the Wendy's on Michigan & Venoy Rd. I ordered the Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger. They were out of mushrooms; I was asked if I still wanted it. I asked if there would be a change in price. I was told, "No." So, I order a Baconator instead. When I say it was cold, and dry as if it had been sitting under a lamp. believe me. -be me. -wake up late on Labor Day wanting something for brunch. -choose Wendy's -order pickup through DoorDash -order confirmed (will be ready in 10-15 minutes -get to store to find my order was denied (no biggie) -wait 5-10 minutes for someone to come take my verbal order -new guy at register, so ordering is a little slow but not a dealbreaker -order cold brew coffee (new guy asks manager to make them because he does not know how) -she tells him they can't do caramel so I order chocolate -order complete and in the system and identical to the order made on the DoorDash app. -new guy asks manager if she can make the chocolate cold brews because he doesn't know how. -she tells him they can't make them, until she sees that the order is already submitted -manager scoffs and gets to making the cold brews with no issue (my guess is she just didn't want to do it) -while making the cold brews I add another sandwich to my order. just one sandwich. the drinks come out, my food comes out, and I check the bag. missing the sandwich I added to my order -I let new guy know and he says it should be out in just a couple minutes. -5 minutes later new guy lets me know it should only be another 5 minutes. -Another 15 minutes go by and I'm holding my temper because I don't want to blow up in the middle of a Wendy's on a kid who is only doing what he knows how to do -I receive my sandwich, tell new guy to have a good day and I leave long story short, my order was cancelled on DoorDash because (Im just speculating here) the manager did not want to make the drinks and cancelled the whole order. It took a long while just to get my order taken after the small inconvenience. Manager had a poor attitude about doing her job, and did not seem to care about helping the new guy or the customer (me). after a long period of time I finally get my food, but a sandwich is missing. I wait ANOTHER long while waiting for one chicken sandwich. all the while I'm noticing a lack of hairnets and gloves for cross contamination prevention. this was supposed to be a 10 minute leave home and get back trip. I stood in the lobby alone for 30-40 minutes. Poor service. Poor attitude from the leadership there. Poor health standards. I do not recommend getting food from this establishment if you're not looking for a headache for a side dish. This Wendy's has messed up my order over six times now. It seems that every time I order a sandwich no matter what I order, I always receive a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. I ordered a pretzel bun chicken pub. They did not give me a receipt with my purchase, but this was the last straw for me. It didn't look like the inside was open with a few signs on the entrance doors, so I go around to the drive through and there's about 5 cars in front of me and coming around the corner no one moving and the one car in front still sitting there, it was at least five minutes before I could even pull and place my order, now mind you I'm in the car with four of my grands and my babies are hungry. So by the time I ordered and was finally at the drive through window it took another five minutes. I still had to wait at least another three to five minutes to get the food, I seen three cars behind leave the line and there was at least another five cars behind waiting. If they're not serving inside, I'm not sure why it took at least twelve to fifteen minutes to get fast food? This Wendy's is terrible. They try to be as quick as possible and end up making mistakes such as repeating the wrong order back to you. Then when you do get the food it's the wrong order. Terrible! Went thru drive thru the lady at the window has the person in front of me check there bag. I didn't think anything of it beside how aggressive she was. I then see the lady grab the fries out the man bag with her bare hands and bring them back into the window. When I get to the front I asked for a frosty the lady decided to ignore me. Afterwards I said it again for her to close the window in my face. After I received my food I asked for hot sauce and crackers she pretend not to hear me or my horn. 25 minutes to get from the order board to the pay window. There were 3....3 cars in front of me. Sat at the pay window for another 10 minutes and nobody came to the window to take my money and at least give me my drink, since it's 95 degrees out today. With gas at $5 a gallon, can't afford to sit idle for 30 minutes. C'mon, seriously, it's frickin fast food, or should we call it waitin on food. Arguably the worst drive-thru employees in a 25 mile radius. Pulled into the drive-thru line with maybe 3 cars ahead of me. Slowly made our way to the order kiosk, was asked what we wanted (3 jr. Hamburgers a Daves single, medium fry and lemonade) and then.. radio silence. Waited aprox. 5 minutes watching all of the people in front of us get thier orders and leave, so we decide to pull up to the window. Upon arrival at the window the female working has an immediate attitude? Re-ordered the above food again (6 items) and was told to pull into a spot and they'll "bring it out". After waiting an excessive amount of time, a random teen that was in a group parked next to us came out with our food, got into his car and left?! At this point our $11.50 purchase was not going to be eaten for fear of tampering. Oh, didn't get the lemonade either. I actually signed up with Yelp to write about my experience here. After reading the other reviews it makes alot of sense. As a local business owner myself, I know how hard it is to hire dependable employees. I went through the drive through...2 cars ahead of me. I oedered, and she repeated it correctly. Got to the window and they gave me tea with ice. They changed it...got home and it was a sweet tea, when I specifically said unsweetened. Giving sugar to a diabetic isn't a good idea. At home, I also learned the fries were half full, the sauce for my nuggets was missing, and they didn't give me straws. They never get orders right, food is cold and gross... and people wonder why there is resistance to paying them $15 per hour. read more

Our visit here was very bad. The drive-through was slow, so we went inside--shouldn't have. We spent about an hour here, between waiting to order (only three people in front of me in line) and waiting to receive our order. There were only a few people inside, but the service was incredibly slow. There was no teamwork whatsoever--one staff member working the front had no help from the four people working the drive-through, even though he could not keep up with the few customers he had. Multiple people had orders done wrong, and came up to the counter after probably 15 minutes to request a missing drink, etc. Made me keep a close eye when my own order was delivered so I could immediately address the missing items (and there were several). We went to Wendy's on MI.Ave in Wayne,i went inside and ordered 3 lg.,chili's and one sm.cheeseburger.We got home my chili had a huge hunk of meat in it big as a hamburger no broth just meat and beans only half full.My husband and mine were not hot barely warm.The cheeseburger was cold with half of a slice cold cheese on top.This is not the first time.We are not going back,I called WENDY'S and the girl said something about when they make it in the morning I said,anybody can see when they put a big hunk of meat like that in a papper cup they should have just told me they were out of chili i would have ordered something else.I wouldn't have gave that chili to anybody!We went there April 21st,2018 at 7:25 PM when i called Wendy's where we bought our food she was making excuses then she hung up on me.We are not ever going back there.It was a waste of money and we are seniors we don't have money to throw away. read more

I stopped going here because they gave me a salad that was not even on the menu so I called up there and asked if I could have my money back and the manager John I think his name was, was like no just come up here we will have the salad waiting.. so I drove all the way back up there and the salad wasn't done and I asked about it and he said he would make it. Just had some of the worst service of my life! Came through the drive-through for a quick lunch before work. I got a chicken nuggets meal and a half power Mediterranean salad( a very simple order). We got home and the salad was a Greek salad with balsamic dressing, which isn't on their menu and isn't a real Greek !? We called the store to tell them what had happened and we were transferred to their manager, John. John was very nice over the phone and said they'd have the salad ready for us when we got there. However, when we got their they didn't even have a cashier attending to the line. There was one person in front of me and my sister and two behind us( a very small line for fast food), also noticed there was only one car in the drive-through. One cashier came and asked if we'd been helped yet and I said no and she said" okay I'll be right with you " and began to walk away. I told her right there we had spoke with John and we're just there to pick up our salad. The salad was not ready. John was instantly pointed out to us and he began making the salad in front of us , finished about half of it and went back to other things. After standing there for about 5-10 minutes I asked the cashier for my money back as I had to leave to get to my job. I thanked her for the inconvenience and told her we wouldn't be back, her response was " okay". As we drove away I noticed John outside taking a smoke break with two other workers. I cannot believe he was manager, as he did not take the correct steps to make his customers happy.
