I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience stood out. We went through the drive-thru first, and the person with me ordered. The employee who took her order came across as unpleasant and somewhat rude from the beginning. Instead of a standard greeting like "What can I get you?", she said "Go on with your order," which set the tone right away. I then went inside to place my own order, and Jess helped me. Jess was very kind and pleasant, and I want to make a point to recognize that. While waiting for my food inside, I could hear the first employee yelling at customers through her headset and also being unpleasant toward her coworkers, which made the environment uncomfortable. Additionally, I've been to this Wendy's a few times, and although it's usually not very busy when I go, getting my food to-go from inside tends to take a slightly longer time than expected. Horrible service. We made a drive thru pickup order 20 minutes in advance. Drive Thru took way too long. We sat there for 15 minutes at LEAST. I had my partner go in to get our order. THEY HADN'T EVEN DROPPED OUR NUGGETS. This place needs to be closed if they can't run even somewhat efficiently. read more

Stopped by to grab a jalapeño poppers salad and some spicy nuggs. Lady at the drive thru was a little unpleasant. Got my salad and dug in. I hate how small the container is, I have no room to mix in my dressing and end up eating half of it off my lap because I spill it trying. Makes it especially difficult to eat in the car, and I'm not going to dip each bite, I don't have that kind of time. But the chicken was hot and crispy, plenty of all the ingredients in it, I can't really complain much. The little thing of honey mustard I got 1) had a weird substance on the peel off lid that was not honey mustard and 2) had a slice on the peel off lid. Debated throwing it away but who wants to eat sauceless spicy nuggs. Might be back if I'm in the area. It's fast food, what can you really expect. It delivers but it's nothing special. THEY RAN OUT OF CHEESE AND COKE! This place is so poorly ran it's pathetic... I went through the drive thru and ordered our food. I just ordered a Double Cheese Burger & my wife ordered a Single w/ cheese and a Coke. We pull up to the 1st window and pay $24.47 and proceed to the 2nd window. We're told they ran out of Coke, so my wife changes it to a Sprite. After we get our food I drive off. I get part way done the road and we realize neither burger has cheese, so I go back. I go inside and inform the person at the counter that someone forgot to put cheese on our cheeseburgers, an employee off to the side says "we're out of cheese". He looks to another employee and says, she's suppose to be telling them. I say to the guy, no one told us and I was charged for cheese on both burgers. He kind of shrugged his shoulders like that was above his pay grade, so I just walked out shaking my head. The good news is, the store is for sale... and for good reason. Hopefully a new owner will straighten the place up. Until then stay far far away from this Wendy's in Walkertown!! read more

Every single time I've come here the people are so effin rude!! And they always get ur order wrong. Please steer clear of this place. They're always getting attitudes with everyone for irrelevant things. You can always hear them talking crap about the people ordering in drive-thru while ur waiting for ur food. I've gone numerous evenings at the Walkertown restaurant and it's always closing hours before closing time. I went Thursday after the concert at exactly 10:21 pm and saw 2 cars at the drive-in window. Upon arrival at the window I was told they're closed for the day. 10:21 pm when the hours posted stated 12:00 am on Thursday. Too many young kids working there with no senior management in charge. Will stop going to Wendy's for now on at any location. Very hungry and disappointed. read more

EXTREMELY slow service at the drive thru- about 10 minute wait. Tried one of their new "gourmet" salads and was far from impressed- 7 dollars for not -very-fresh lettuce, skimpy toppings and a pack of dressing- I won't be back- esp when OLYMPIC has such killer greek salads for same price and Mcdonalds/Bojangles nearby for fresher fast food. read more

Husband went through the drive through which took forever as always. They got our order wrong so he went inside to get it fixed. They messed it up AGAIN. He brings it home and I see they messed it up so I have to drive all the way back into town to get our order fixed for the 3rd time. I haven't been to this location one time where they got my order right the first time and in a timely manner. The shift leader was nice but you could tell he was overwhelmed. He had to tell the girl on the prep line 5 different times what to put on the sandwich, but the cell phone never left her ear. Why was her cell phone even out?! The drive through line was wrapped around the building. They offered no refund, coupons, or anything. Without a doubt the worst service in the area. read more

Others may say that the representative wears a smile, and has a GOOD attitude. Others will say they must be helpful and respectful of others. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Having had a long week, pains of my own, I have gone to the hospital to visit with my dad who is in the hospital with pneumonia. A lot of responsibility on my shoulders, as my mother passed 2015, and am an only child with two grown sons of my own. You know how that goes, they never have time to visit or call the parents or grandparents. Living eleven miles from my father, I go through a small town to get to his house. This town has a Wendy's, which tickled my thoughts for a warm cup of chili and potato. I pulled in and parked, put my handicap placard up and went inside. There were two elderly women in a booth to my left. We exchanged hello's and I walked to the counter on my left. There were 4 black women and 1 black male standing there at the ordering counter. They all looked at me and then turned their backs to me. They looked back over their shoulder's at me and then walked back to the back of the store, carrying on their own conversations. By this point, I was getting angry. I said in a very LOUD voice, "Does anyone want to take an order today?! No one responded. The two black gentlemen who walked up behind me were just staring at them as well. Under my breath, I said "screw this, I will go somewhere else." As I walked off, I stopped and looked back, there was one of the women taking the gentlemen's orders. This made me even angrier ! I was furious!!! I yelled out at the top of my lungs, "I guess I am not the right color, am I?" She replied, "NO." Any one who knows me, knows this is not my normal reactions. Normally I would have just walked out saying nothing at all. I was wrong for getting so upset and yelling the last remark, I should have just walked on out the door and said nothing else. But their customer service was terrible. If I had been the Mgr or DM, I would have fired them on the spot. Even if it meant closing the store for a short period of time, until I could find responsible replacements. Corporate will hear from me. read more

This is after two rednecks set up at the window for 10 mins. and were not ask to move down. When this girl came she threw my bag in lap and told me don't come back to MY drive thru. This Wendy's location is one of the worst I've ever been. The service is horrible. The cleanliness is atrocious. The girl who is quite frequently at the drive through is one of the rudest individuals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She acts as though you are bothering her when you ask for a straw, condiments or anything. On my last visit, I asked her for a straw and she gave a big sigh and before giving it to me she said... "Do you need anything else so I don't have to make another trip?"..... What trip? The stuff she needs should be RIGHT there.... She has major attitude. I live in Walkertown so this upsets me. Horrible Wendy's. Rude employees, slow service. Never good service here. Always have to check bag before leaving, a lot of times the food is not hot and the bread almost stale. Most recent experience I ordered a cheese baked potato and lemonade. He cashier asked "just cheese on the potato?" I said yes. Got my food, there was bacon on the potato and they asked me if I could just eat it. I can't eat bacon. So they had an attitude with making me another one. Got my drink, she gave me Mountain Dew instead of LEMONADE! I didn't notice the drink being wrong until 10mins down the road since it was the correct color I didn't think to check it. I can't have caffeine due to a medical reason. So guess i'm out $2 for the drink and have no drink. read more

Food is usually good. Chili beans tastes like they were two days old; I threw 3/4 of the carton away. Service has been up and down in the past but for the past 2-3 times I've been there it's been really fairly bad. The crew members...the one that took my money just said "thank you" and the one that that gave me my food couldn't be bothered to say anything except "mhm" when I said thank you. This was somewhat late, probably around 8:30-9pm and I get that it isn't the most glamorous or high-paying job but it is a job and you get paid nonetheless. If I had realized what the sanitation grade was before driving off I would NOT have ate there and I will NEVER eat there again unless their sanitation grade is improved and even then I would hesitate due to the poor service. Miserable employees who scowl, don't greet you, can not figure out how to work the register and none of them say "thank you". Very poor training in customer service. I will not be going back. this place is bad. the survive sucked! there was nobody in the place, and no one at the drive thru, and i was standing there for 5 mins. and the whole time there was two people working in the back and at the drive thru talking on cell phones. i was trippin! i was scared to say anything cause i didn't want them to do anything to my food, but i did ask if some one could help me.and you know what that guy did, he went in the back and got someone else came out to help me, and you could tell he hated his job. and the whole time a guy was walking around in the back smiling at me and sayin something to a person i couldn't see. i think they did something to the two burgers i bought for 10 dollars and some change. needless to say i didn't eat the Burger's. i want be back there again. read more
