Being serious, who knew this place in Tinley Park could be so good. It looks like an unassuming…read moresmall town cafe with a few slots. Darla's claims to be a deli and gaming parlor, but they got rid of a lot of the menu since the last time. Has actual beers and a few premade cookies and stuff to choose from. There's also a few healthy options. A little place on the end of a strip mall. It doesn't look like much, and it isn't really. The inside has a few slots and tables. Also they have a few beers. It's about $2 for bottles of domestics. They have the usual stuff like Miller Lite. As for the food, it made changes to the menu about what is available. It's gotten rid of all the sandwiches, including the Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich. That sucks. It's about $2 for a bag of chips. There's not much in the way of food except some cookies and pastries. Cool place to have some beers and get food. It's unique from most delis because this has slots, so it's also a gaming parlor. The food menu is limited because there's no more of typical deli things, such as sandwiches.

Wendy's Takis Meal Review By Louis D'Antonio, Read Write…read moreReviews As a longtime fan of spicy foods and Takis snacks, I was eager to try Wendy's new Takis-inspired meal launched this June. The combo includes a Takis chicken sandwich, Takis fries, a bag of Takis chips, and a drink and promising a fiery, flavorful experience. First off, I have to commend the staff on-site; the manager was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made the visit pleasant. The Takis fries were a highlight seasoned well, and packed with that signature spicy lime tang I love. The bag of Takis chips was also enjoyable, delivering that familiar crunch and heat that Takis enthusiasts crave. However, unfortunately, the star of the meal -- the Takis chicken sandwich fell flat. The chicken itself was dry and lacked flavor, and the Takis topping on the sandwich was soggy and limp, detracting from what could have been a fiery delight. As someone who appreciates spice, I was disappointed that the Takis on the sandwich couldn't deliver. Overall, while the fries and chips were solid, the sandwich didn't meet the mark, especially for fans of spicy, crunchy snacks. I'd rate this experience a 2.5 out of 5 stars. It has potential, but some improvements are needed to truly capture the Takis experience on a bun. To improve the Takis chicken sandwich, consider adding more seasoning and crunch to the chicken, and using a crunchier topping.

My drink was extremely watered down and honestly horrible. The fries were not fresh. The Asiago…read moreranch chicken sandwich was pretty good, but the ranch did not have the best flavor.

I am staying at a nearby hotel for work for a couple of weeks and I have been to this Panera three…read moredays in a row to either work or pick up a food order for the office for lunch. One of the days I worked remotely and had a table for a few hours. I noted how clean and neat the café was and the good condition of the furniture and carpeting. I've seen some really rundown Panera breads. The service was fine and some of the servers were more friendly than others, but I could not possibly complain about anything. The closest thing to a complaint is that I stopped in one evening around 8 PM, an hour before close, and asked for a cup of decaf. They didn't have any, but the server was super pleasant and said she'd be happy to bruise them for me. No problem. Also, something I've never seen after working remotely at many Panera's, someone walked around offering samples that they're baked goods. When I picked up the lunch order from my office today, they included a sample of a baked good in my bag. Really nice touch, no complaints here. I don't really love food at Panera, maybe just the soup. Prices have gone up and that the corporate decision but I think this is one of the nicer cafés that I've been to.

The staff is friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and I never have issues with my order. Tonight, I ordered the new baked potato soup and it was very good. I also had the tomato basil BLT, without the b! I just love that tomato basil bread. I ordered the creme brulee latte which I'm hooked on, but I forgot to ask for it with almond milk and once I sat down in my table I realized it. I took it up to the register and told the guy of my mistake offering to pay for a new one. He insisted that was unnecessary and gave me a corrected latte on the house! I love Panera bread when I need a quiet place to have a warm meal and get a little reading in.

It was well prepared, fresh, and delicious. I also indulged in a couple bottles of their smoothies, blueberry with avocado, banana, bananas, cane sugar, and a strawberry banana with the same cane sugar also vegan friendly. I originally learned of this place when I worked in Tinley Park a couple years ago and drove all the way from Chicago today to go there to treat myself. As usual, I was greeted with kindness by Chris, who was working the register at the time. The ambience is surreal, it provides a quiet place to enjoy your food, read, work or if you need to just reflect on life. This is one of my favorites and although they're not close to Chicago, it's worth the drive! I was a little disappointed that they no longer have my avocado rolls. I really enjoyed those but everything is still good. I wish I could get more vegan options on the menu but overall, Avocado Theory is a 12 out of 10.
