I used the kiosk to order lunch and went to the register to pick it up. I was told it didn't go through yet it showed it took the money from my account. I had to order at the register and pay again. They told me the original charge would come off at the end of the day. Well two days later and I was charged twice! This is possibly one of the worst Wendy's I have ever come across. I know you can't expect much from fast food the majority of the time but the food here is just atrocious. It's probably because one of the workers has her small children running around the restaurant playing with the soda machines and picking at the food, pretty sure that's a health department violation and OSHA. Back to the food. I ordered the Baconator combo, when I opened it there was a half slice of bacon. I asked to speak to the manager and she was very rude, I believe her name was Suzy. She claimed I ate the bacon (which is laughable) and that I wanted more for free. I wish I could make this up. The fries were cold and soggy, and tasted like they were not frozen at the correct temperature because they tasted awful, I wasn't even going to bother asking for new fries because I'm sure Suzy would have had an issue. While trying to get my soda there were kids running all over the place and playing with the soda machine (enter one of the workers kids) who then made a run for the kitchen behind the registers. What franchise owner allows this behavior? Very unprofessional and a danger to everyone working there. The managers were belittling the staff to watch out for the kids and it just made it an uncomfortable experience and even more terrible since the food was so crappy. For $14.03 I shouldn't have been lazy and just picked up a burger at the diner across the street and saved myself the money and aggravation. It was so potent and so harsh, I was considering leaving immediately. (I came inside because the drive through line was very long). Contrary to my better judgement, I get on line and there's a happy hour happening apparently because the counter is filled with pals chatting with employees. During this long amount of time of absolutely no one even acknowledging our presence. One of them looked up at me waiting on the line, but proceeded to exchange Instagram names with a customer. After this, another worker turns and sees us waiting behind all of these friends and says, "oh sh*t! There are more customers." After ordering, I hear them say f*ck 5 times. 5!!!!!!!!!!!! Along with MANY other obscenities. One worker even asked one of her friends not to make a mess because she doesn't want to clean it. Is this a joke? I honestly couldn't believe this. It's still not over though. Someone from the back shouted that they needed lettuce (I'm sure to expedite the long line that was building considering the staff at the counter wasn't doing anything) and the girl at the register told him she wouldn't get him lettuce, proceeded by, "what the f*ck do I look like to you?" You did look like a Wendy's employee, but now you just look like an incompetent human who I cannot believe is still employed. I will absolutely be contacting the corporate office in the morning. ***UPDATE - I contacted the corporate office and I got a call back from a giggly, unprofessional manager of the store and tells me, "they're just kids. This Wendy's has potential but the majority of the staff is terrible starting with their management. I don't go often but when I do then never can get the order right. The manager packing the food is always on an extreme rush. I get they are busy but you can slow down just a little bit to provide a decent amount of customer service. If I ask for sweet and sour sauce, I'm guaranteed to get honey mustard. If I ask for chili sauce with my chili I'll get crackers with no sauce. It's not brain surgery here.. just take 2 seconds to listen. And it's always the rushing manager that makes the mistake & she always acts annoyed if you ask for the correct item. It was the worst burgers I ever tasted. All the years that I have had Wendy's and tonight, I bought three hamburger meals: triple cheese combo, a bacon single delux combo and a single cheese combo. There was so much grease from these burgers that they saturated the bag. The grease literally dripped from the sandwiches. The hamburgers tasted salty and as if they were soaked in fat and unpleasant. The fries were limp and saturated with oil and boarder line cold. The best was when I asked for more ketchup since they only gave me 1 for 3 meals. The lady handed me one more and told me that the size of the ketchup was equal to 2 ketchups. Are you kidding? So I'm suppose to double dip with someone else? I have never seen such bad burgers in my life, and I wish I was exaggerating. The total cost was $25.30 and I could have spent it someplace else. I would have gone back and returned the meal but we are in the middle of a snow storm and my father-in-law is in the hospital. Otherwise, I would have returned it. It was a complete waste of time and money. I am thinking of calling the board of health on this restaurant. They always get my order wrong. Went to the drive through on a Sunday night. Place wasn't busy at all. Told us to pull to the side and they would bring out our food. OMG ive always been a McD's girls but no more. I had my daughters bff over and we were heading to the park and the girls wanted a bite to eat so i treated to fast food which is a rareity and she wanted Wendys my daughter & I said ok (giving her choice) and to my delightful surprise the burger was like one id made on the bbq grill, juicy thick, tasteful. it was like ordering from a diner. was definetly worth the few extra bucks. and none of us were hungry an hour later like we are with other fast food places. Honestly I've been to this Wendy's numerous times and EVERY time there is an issue. Its either the BEYOND RUDE staff or the terrible quality food they provide. Wendy's is not only my favorite choice in fast food but the ONLY fast food chain I dine in.
