Wendy's was the bees knees when I was in college last century but in the 21 years I have lived here in town, this was my first visit today. My experience wasn't bad at all. I was impressed with the various chicken sandwiches. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo and the food came out quickly. Fries and sandwich were fresh. Othere people have complained here of slow counter service. That is because the vast majority of customers use the drivethru, so employees are usually working that side. The dining area was barren during my visit, but plenty of cars drove through. I was too full to try a frosty, but that vanilla strawberry frosty sure does look good. The food was terrible and cold. The burger was black, dry and overcooked. The fries were stale and also overcooked. Only the frosty was okay and I threw the rest of the food away. Sierra Vista is a weird town and it's hard to find good food places. Only Pizza Hut is consistently good. Don't visit here unless you have to. Bruh! For real?! Do not go here until it is all new management and employees. The last year or two, this place has been awful. All the employees have that "It's cool to not care" thing going on. Never a smile or polite person. Thus, the food has been awful and the wait time is excessive for what you get. I always forget until I go again. Last night mine and my daughters nuggets were so cold (not just not hot, COLD) and my wife and son's burgers had to have been refrigerated and then reheated in the microwave or something (the whole thing, hot lettuce and tomato, cold burger... but yet burnt?! Tasted like plastic, they both spit them out, never seen that before). First, hours on yelp are wrong. Waited in drive through for breakfast for 25 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me. I don't know if they were killing the cow or what. Watched two different cars come back with bags in their hands, clearly with wrong orders. Get to the window and they read off two wrong orders (for me) before just asking what my order was. I don't really know what's going on but this Wendy's has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. My Husband and I tried getting breakfast there this morning and they completely ignored us in the drive through and this has happened before a year ago or more back and a few months ago we tried to eat dinner there and the the doors were locked and they had the drive through blocked and it wasn't close to closing time yet.If we didn't enjoy the food we would stop eating there. read more

Came here again to horrendous customer service. I was the only customer coming into the restaurant and the employee didn't bother greeting or acknowledged me at all. I did the mobile order and it took them a long time so I went up and told them I had a mobile order. Only then they began to start making my food. When my food came I thanked them and they didn't bother saying anything back. The buns on the burger that they made were soggy from the wet vegetables or something and I told them that the buns are soggy and I wanted new buns. They were taking amongst themselves mentioned the soggy buns a few times. I'm not sure how old these young workers are but they need some customer service training. I won't be returning to this location again especially with this place being infested by flies. read more

Absolutely worst Wendy's experience EVER! I would leave negative stars if possible. I stood at the counter about 10 minutes waiting to order. I was never greeted even though there was no less than 4 employees in the kitchen. During my wait time a cockaroach crawled over the front counter in broad daylight. Currently been sitting just past the drive thru for nuggets to be delivered to my car. Been here for 20 minutes, while 9 people have got their order and driven around me. They are not that busy, only been 2 inside customers so far. Update: 25 minutes now, 12 people served and passed me. Update: A full half an hour now. Absolute slowest service I have ever received! If you can't afford to staff the breakfast hour, don't open for breakfast. It's not my job to expect slow service from a "fast" food place. This place is ran down on the inside, they tried to update it with new futuristic type soda machine. The machine is dirty, sticky and awkward. The employees seem friendly enough for Sierra Vista. I don't know how many times I have been here and there out of something, frosty machine frozen or broken; Just like the drive-thru menu board which has no lights. Th food is good and tastes like any other Wendy's (which is good), so they seem to meet the standard. I'll eat here again for sure but just when I'm in a rush. Hopefully there can clean up the outdated, old feeling they have in the inside. read more

Tried ordering a burger advertised on window of restaurant and was told it was on line special only.Ended up ordering a Biggie bag meal. Fries were cold and stale, chicken nuggets were cold, burger size was not worth upping the cost of the meal and was cold. I took the meal home to eat and it should not have gotten cold in 3 minutes. Also Creamsicle frosty not worth the cost. I will be going back to Jack in the Box for a meal worth the price. read more

Stopped by here for dinner tonight, first they were out of Chili, ok maybe they are sold out, then I get home and am missing one of the burgers we ordered (I only ordered 3 total, 2 JBC and a Cheesey cheddar burger) and the other 2 which were cold were lathered with so much mayonnaise that it was oozing off the burger and all over the sides of the bun and ruined the sandwiches, add to that the 2 small fries we ordered were cold, the only thing that wasn't screwed up was the frosty. we will not be going back to this location anytime soon read more

The $5 Biggie Bag Meal was delicious!!! And absolutely filling. You get 1 Bacon Double Cheeseburger, 4 Chicken Nuggets, 1 Small Fries & 1 Small Drink. Great meal for a low price. I highly recommend it. Especially if you don't have a lot of money to spend. read more

Went to this Wendy's because my teenager wanted the chicken nuggets. There was an "offer" on the app for a free 10 piece nugget with any purchase. I added this offer and then the cashier scanned my app. This was apparently not an "offer" but it was a "reward"? It didn't work. While we were eating my daughter saw a mouse run across the floor. She said it was between gray and black and it wasn't small either. The fries seemed to be all potato peelings and the cheeseburger was cold. She said the nuggets were good though. Not sure what happened to Wendy's but it's awful. Our visit during lunchtime was surprising. Almost no one there except flies. They were everywhere. It took a long time to receive our food and it was lukewarm at best. Really not good at all. At 1130 in the afternoon floors were sticky. Absolutely the worst Wendy's EVER! I went back three times trying to get a hot sandwich. The second time wasn't even the sandwich I ordered. The third time they asked what I wanted. I just said I wanted the sandwich I ordered, and I'd like it hot. Third time manager got involved and told me I was unreasonable to want the sandwich I ordered, and paid for, and for it to be hot! She then began speaking in Spanish and she and employees laughed. Inexcusable! I don't speak Spanish, don't insult me! The next time my family went in, same manager and employees. They didn't want to honor my Wendy's app coupon. The store is dirty, the soda machine is really nasty, and the manager looks and smells like she rolled out of bed and ran in to work. I've been here three times since I moved to Sierra Vista, and all three times the Coke was flat. This time they didn't have ice, which no one mentioned until I opened the cup and asked because the drink was warm to the touch. The sandwich was good, and cooked right, not dry or overcooked. Wendy's is almost always my favorite fast food restaurant... till I walked into the one in Sierra Vista, AZ. I lived here in the 70s... and it still looks like the one from the 70s. I've never seen so many flies in a restaurant. Everything had 20 years of grease on it. It took forever to get what was probably the best selling item on the menu. I really feel sorry for the people that have to work here. What in the world happened to this place? Apparently the franchisee doesn't care. Why doesn't corporate force them to remodel, or at least clean up the place? This has to be the worst advertisement for a Wendy's. For starters, it's location was probably good for 1980, but now everything's on the east side of town, so why would I drive clear downtown to eat at this one ??? Ordered a simple order of chili, 2 baked potatoes, and 2 frostys. My chili spilled all over my bag. Bag was torn. Got in my house and went to take one of the potatoes out of the bag and the lid fell off and the potato fell out. Very frustrating. It's not hard to put a lid on a container. read more

Kudos to Wendy's at lunch time. I stopped by for my second visit (ever) and was impressed. The young lady at the register was very polite. I ordered a naked bacon burger with fries and the new organic honey tea... Nothing to bitch or complain about. The burger was freshly grilled, fries were amazing ( cooked crispy) as was the new tea. I'm not sure I would call this Wendy's the "gem of Sierra Vista" but it was pretty darn good. Everything was hot and fresh as it should be even though it was the lunch rush. It was super busy but they kept the line moving. I would imagine most places try to do this since they get lots of military folks from the base that need to eat and get back to the base. The inside was clean and they had people in the dining room cleaning and delivering food to tables. So as fast food goes, this Wendy's is pretty darn good! read more

Yep, for real, Wendy's. Why? I'm rating this Wendy's because of its consistency and customer service. I already feel bad having fast food, but I feel better if I can get a baked potato, chili, or salad as my side. I love getting an ultimate grilled chicken sandwich because it actually is tender and has some flavor which is not the case with all the Wendy's around.
