I came in to grab a bite to eat. The first thing I noticed was my feet sticking to the floor. Don't know when the last time it was mopped was then I noticed the employees doing all sorts of tasks and using their phone without changing gloves before they went to prepare food I mentioned it to the cashier and she said she knows all about food safety and she's aware about it but she's not the manager. I asked to speak to the manager. She said they mop once a day and she'll make them all change their gloves right now, but that still leaves great doubt as to the health and safety of this restaurant. The service here was the worst I've experienced at a wendy's. I've had multiple issues here but today was the one that made me have to post on here. I placed an online order and arrived at 1015 when breakfast stops at 1030 and I brought a friend who didn't order online. The 5 workers just looked at us wait and prepared lunch, making chicken nuggets and fries, while there was nobody ordering that food, for the next 15 minutes. Finally after complaining the manager walked in and said they're not taking breakfast I told her i had an online order and I got my food cd and my friend couldn't order. I ordered with no cheese and they put cheese on it and i couldn't get it replaced because it was outside of breakfast hours. read more

I get to the counter and was rudely told to get in the line for DoorDash I said I gad a mobile order and the witch even more rudely said get in line, which was even longer at this point. Not an "I'm sorry, please get in line". Nope. I was barked at. I get that this sawed-off little tyrant, Laci, may have been having a bad day, but no call to be taking it out on me and the other customers. Staff is rude. When asking about the key tag we bought, its in the bag. We believed her and moved along as there were 10 or so cars behind us. I quit this location after two just terrible meals. Fries have never been fresh. Well, today I saw that they've added breakfast and I thought, "they can't be f*cking this up already, I'll give it a try." Omg. Literally the worst breakfast I've ever been served. I wouldn't be writing this review unless I didn't care enough. My most recent experience came at around 11:00pm at the drive-thru after getting out of work from my day job. I was starving and wanted what I thought would be a quality meal. I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches and an order of spicy chicken nuggets with a small Natural Lemonade. Upon arriving home less than a mile away, I unwrapped my food and started eating. The chicken wraps were mediocre and they just looked sad. They looked like they were thrown together sloppily and lazily without any care. The chicken inside was lukewarm, almost cold. The chicken nuggets were actually pretty good, but again, lukewarm. The lemonade was the most dissapointing thing I've tasted. It was so watered down to the point where it tasted like floor cleaner/some cleaning chemical dissolved in water. Overall, I finished my wraps and nuggets because I was starving. The lemonade took an adventure down the drain. Overall experience was dissapointing. I wasn't mad, just mainly disappointed because I know what real Wendy's tastes like and the quality of what they can offer for what I pay. This was just a sad experience and I hope they can make it right by taking a closer look at this particular location and making some major changes. I understand Wendy's is a franchise and each location is owned by individuals, but I think some corporate intervention is needed here. I hope Wendy's sees this because they need to. I just got out of drive thru line here at your Santa Fe Wendy's on Sawmill Rd and I have to say that I am highly impressed. The food was hot and tasty, it came out reasonably fast, the people were very friendly, especially your manager Tara. But what impressed me the most was that they are doing all this with a crew of 3. I've been eating at Wendy's since before I could read. And I'm 38. The service is usually good enough here. I do occasionally have to return and ask for fresh fries as they aren't good when they've sat even five minutes too long. And many times items are forgotten in my order. The other only problem I can see here is the constantly changing staff. This Wendy's would probably get five stars from me if there weren't so much employee turnover and the place ran just a bit more smoothly. Otherwise definitely good enough for fast-food and quality the same as far back as I can possibly remember! read more

This was not one of our best places to eat in Santa Fe. The service was extremely slow and my wife had to keep repeating our order. After checking several times they still messed up our order. Wow talk about a terrible service. Mobile services didn't work after four try's then went to the front requesting to order as well as the free spicy nuggets. The worker said she would ask the manager but then never brought management. The other cashier was nice took my order, said I could get my nuggets. Literally followed this up with waiting over 20 minutes for me to be skipped over by two large parties!! I only ordered a 4 for $4! This service needs to be altered. I rotate Wendy's through my monthly cycle of eating lunch at fast food restaurants. I remember when Wendy's hit my home town in the 1980's. I was impressed with their salad bar and the fresh burgers you could see them making hot off the grill. What has happened to Wendy's? At any rate, I stopped in to see what fare they might provide. I was greeted by a sharp tongued girl who literally threw things on the tray. All she was interested in was "processing" me. I ordered a #1 (cheeseburger, fries and drink). In the past, I had worked at a drive-in. So when the order came, I recognized fries that lazily hung over the edge of the little cardboard holder and warmed-up bun that barely hung on the burger. It was obvious the patty had been precooked and sitting somewhere. It was dry, cold, etc. This burger looked tired. The size reminded me of the old A & W Baby burger. Sad. The fries were salty and had been sitting under a lamp for some time. I've eaten at other Wendy's over the last year. This one is pathetic. As their old slogan use to say, "Where's the beef?" Wendy's has good fries when freshly made. My advice...head on down to the chicken joint down the street. read more

The burgers and fries were good but their soda machines were both down. I asked for a coke to be poured from the machine behind the counter, and it tasted like it had been mixed with some kind of flavored sprite. I asked for a couple frosty's in exchange for not having any soft drinks available, and received what tasted like a cup of chilled heavy whipping cream. No flavor, and not iced as they usually are.
