OK, I know fast food is fast food, but when you advertise your food, it should be close to what you advertise. Well, I can say these commercial artists need to become cooks at Wendy's. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and one fry, and it was $17! If the food were decent, I would say OK, but still $$ for fast food. Fast food is not cheap! The Box Dinners that you make at home with fresh ingredients are a better deal. $38 for six meals, including delivery. $29 with the specials. Passed by so many times but stopped by for the first time this past weekend. We had seen some ads showing Frostys for only $0.50 so we wanted to try it if we were nearby. We just so happened to have exited the Temple Ave. freeway ramp, remembered the Frostys deal, and went directly to Wendy's! We ordered a Chocolate Frosty and a Vanilla Frosty to go so we could try both flavors. Overall, service was good and parking aplenty. The only inconvenience is exiting the parking lot and needing to head west on Temple Ave instead of east. One can only turn R to go east on Temple. Once you drive to the next light, you can U-turn to head west on Temple. Since we did not order anything else on the menu, we cannot attest to the other food items. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised that this place is going up in quality, whilst most other fast food chains are going down. Their food has a slightly fancier, almost hipster vibe to it, and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The new Tuscan Homestyle Chicken Ciabatta is particularly yummy and has people coming back for more. If the burgers and sandwiches are too heavy for you, they also have light, yummy salads with sweet or refreshing additions such as fruit, BBQ Ranch, and even an Asian-inspired one. The atmosphere is nothing special, and you don't see as many Wendy's restaurants around as other fast food places, but if you're looking to stretch your dollar further for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place's diverse menu has most others beat. And it's the only fast food restaurant I know that offers baked potatoes. read more

Ordered two breakfast combos this morning with potato wedges, cheddar cheese sauce + jalepeno slices as toppings and diet cokes. Order was delivered with both potato sides without any toppings. An hour later half way down the drink, my blood sugar shot through the roof, realizing we got regular Cokes instead of DIET. Born T1 diabetic. It sucks. Only in America where you'll find assholes who'd purposely ignore your special order requests even if it means life or death. The people worked the morning shift at this location should be fired, and there should be a law in place to penalize the store for this kind of fuk up. Worst experience at a fast food ever. Ordered food on their mobile app. App approved, took the payment of $26.55 and gave me an order number. When I went to the window the cashier said they could not give me what I ordered as it was a lunch item, even though the app accepted and took the money. She only offered a small breakfast item worth about $14. I did not want to pay $26.55 for a $14 item. I then requested a refund. The cashier said she could not do that. I asked for you name to complain, but she refused to give me her name and told me to leave. The receipt shows a name of Lucia. First off, I want to say I'm a VERY understanding person who has worked in customer service before, and I know we all make mistakes and I get it. However, the issue with this store has become a problem for me. I order UberEats after I get off of work, and usually pick this Wendy's on Temple Ave as it's close to my house. After I get off work, all I want is some chicken sandwiches and a ice cold Diet Coke, it decompresses me, and I order around 9PM. The past FIVE times I have ordered, this wendys just doesn't give my driver the Diet Coke. They used to NEVER forget anything, and now when I call the Uber driver they just say "Oh, they didn't give me it I'm sorry" I don't get mad at them, I get the mistake. One Uber driver even went to 7-11 to buy me one because he felt bad I had put in the notes "Ask Wendy's for the Diet Coke, they've been forgetting it." Tonight, I ordered Wendy's. It says my food has arrived, and there is no Diet Coke. It's almost that I expect this of them, I ALWAYS take a picture of just the bag and no drink, and UberEats refunds me right away. I usually order a Diet Coke on its own and just wait for it. My driver tonight didn't speak the best English, but she did communicate to me that she asked them for the Drink and Wendy's said there was no drink. its not like they have missed the SAME item on the receipt they get 5 times, 5 times is too much. I'm going to call and speak to the manager tomorrow, and as I said I'm understanding like maybe the soda machine is broken?? One night I am praised for maneuvering my large truck in the drive through, the next the guy is in panic placing his hands in the way of my mirror and the sign sticking out from the drive through window. I've had several Bad experiences at this Wendy's. The last 3 times I've been to this location, I've gotten cold food, overcooked food, order filled incorrectly, and when I noted they gave me the wrong item, the Cashier became very rude to me. I make it a point to be polite at the people that are handling my food. The last time I went there (last night) I ended up just throwing away the fry's as they were over-cooked, and cold, same for the Chili and the Burgers. They did not give me a receipt. I've been to other Wendy's and never had any problems, Just this location.
