Very disappointed as I specifically ordered a biscuit with just egg and cheese, but was given one with sausage on it. Employee Cherie gave us the worst drive through experience ever!! We are not Wendy's people so when we asked for a minute to look at the menu that is when her obvious annoyance began. Mind you we were the ONLY PEOPLE in the drive through. She only got more curt as we started to order. I drove to my local Wendy's restaurant located at Ray Road and 49th Street in Ahwatukee, Arizona, this morning (11/5/21) at 7:30 a.m. That store usually opens at 6:30 a.m. When I arrived, the store was closed, with a handwritten note on the ordering kiosk that advised customers, "Open at 8:30 a.m.". Actually, the store didn't open until after 10 a.m. I called the corporate office at 1-888-621-8140 to report this situation. I was put on hold, listening to some obnoxious muzak-style music for over an hour, at which point I finally gave up and hung up the phone. Do you know what generally happens to businesses that operate haphazardly, varying the hours they are open for business without any advance notice to customers? If I could give zero stars I would- store says drive thru open until 1a and for some reason they don't stay open passed 10p - came in the middle of the day and the person on the speaker said they couldn't assist because they were short staffed... you mean between 2 employees no one can figure out how to keep the business open - even if you offer only certain easy options... you don't close mid day. 2/5 time I have been there for the drive thru, no one came over the intercom to take my order. I waited 10 minutes each time to see if they would pay attention and notice a customer waiting. It was around 7pm both times. The other three times, I went around the same time and they gave me chicken nuggets when I ordered at burger. It was too late when I noticed at home. The other times, the staff was rude and very slow with service. Whoever the manager is, needs to be fired for running a team like that. Service was terrible. I came in at about 9:50, July 24th at this location. Upon entering, I asked for a lemonade. The worker at the cashier told me to wait a second, so we did. All of the cashiers INCLUDING the manager, saw us, didn't say a word, and we stood there for a good five-ten minutes waiting. At no point had anyone told us that they were no longer taking orders at the counter until after about ten minutes of waiting, and I had no idea about this. I went back in and the manager very rudely told us to get out, when we explained the situation. She was very hostile and even brought out a screwdriver, and led us to the door. I understand that they could be busy, I know how it is to work at food companies. But zero warning and the rudeness of her honestly makes me want to get her fired, very unprofessional and totally ignorant of us. Horrible service! I waited 10 mins at the drive thru to have my order taken. The young black man with the glasses obviously hates his job. He got my order wrong, I let him know it was incorrect.
