Just left the place, I had takeout. Ordered the Dave's single, the patty was black and chewy. The burger was a one bite spit out. I had the fish sandwich as well, way over cooked to the point that the fish had no flavor and was dried out. Another one bite spit out. The fries were okay. While waiting 15 minutes for my food, I noticed I was the only one in the restaurant. The employees were slumped over and barely awake. No uniforms, one man young man was wearing a green disco shirt. The frier is close to the customer counter and was burning off oil that hurt my throat. They are in real trouble when Culver's opens across the street. read more

One of the dirtiest Wendy's I have ever been to. Workers just standing around. Every table was dirty. I had to ask for cleaner and clean two tables myself. Womens bathroom was closed and we had to use the mens. It was nasty, no soap,no towels and the floor and sink were disgusting. The food was cold, and they didn't get the order right. Why am I giving Wendy's a 1 star rating? Because Yelp won't let me give it a 0 star rating. This is the second time that I have come to Wendy's because of one their promos and both times I have left with nothing. But, I didn't go hungry because ther are so many food food restaurants in just that one short stretch of 70. First off, the cashier was trying to take care of a door dash order when she had a long line of people in the store. After about 10 minutes trying to fix that (which she didn't fix), she tried to take our order but could not figure out the promo codes. After reringing the order three times, she just stood there. People were leaving and after twenty minutes there, we left also. We went two doors down to Burger King where we saw others who had been at Wendy's. A quick ride from Vero Beach to Lake Placid brought my son and I through the town of Okeechobee. William wanted McDonald's fries - I wanted the Wendy's large chili. And since I was the one buying, we stopped at Wendy's. Drive thru service was friendly and polite, although a bit slow. My son ordered the Wendy's meal deal that included a junior bacon cheeseburger, small fries, small Sprite and a 4 piece chicken nugget with BBQ sauce at $4.00. I ordered the large chili at $2.79. I just witnessed the manager, Ashley, personally pay for a meal for an individual that was struggling to pay for it themselves and simply tell them, "Merry Christmas." This was truly heartwarming. I have never witnessed the manager of a fast food restaurant do something like this in my life. It's the little things that renew your faith in humanity. A young man was on line, I think he said his mom works there, he was telling my associate how there are roaches in the vanilla frosty machine .... I was not told of that until I started eating my disgusting burger .... needless to say I completely lost my appetite and threw it all out .... Worst Wendy's ever. Either there is a 30 minute wait to order because they don't have anyone working taking orders, or they are out of lettuce, out of tomatoes, out of Frosty s, out of ice, out of tea, or all of the above. They seriously need someone from the corporate office to come in and help them clean this place up. It should be closed down. read more

It's hard to review a cookie cutter fasatfood place because, well they all are pretty much the same....unless you have a bad experience. Well, in my case, no, we did not have a bad experience here but it was a mecca for people watching. To begin with, the place was full of seniors. Not just a few, but lots of them. There was even some kind of memorial above one of the tables for an older man who used to frequent the place.....it was nice...he was a veteran...... The people that worked there too were worth watching. Not that they were freaks of nature or anything, it was just an eclectic mix. Anyway, our food was fine and the restaurant was clean. Dave Thomas himself would be proud to have eaten here. read more

This Wendy's has gone downhill in the last 6 months. There is new management and it's horrible had to wait for my food, went to fill up my soda and they were out of all diets sodas. When you first walk in the door you can smell the restrooms it stinks. staff is friendly but service was terrible. Tables dirty floor is greasy slippery my tray my food was served on was not even clean. This place needs an inspector here ASAP! read more

We went tonight, my husband ordered home style chicken sandwich with jalapeño and bacon, the girl at the window asked if he wanted home style it would take 5 minutes because they would have to make it fresh, " is that ok" ? I've only done Drive-Thru at this location, but it's always right. The food is always good and a few times I've heard the Manager(this one is a middle age African-American) tell them to drop fresh fries or fresh nuggets for my order, I like that. I also had the same guy ask me to wait when I place a large order so I can get everything fresh at the same time, anyone that's ever placed a large order and had half fresh and half heat lamp fresh will appreciate that. I miss their breakfast it was great, but I'll still go cause it's good. read more

I went to Wendy's for lunch with a friend. The floors were sticky and tables were dirty. I ordered a taco salad to go based on the menu picture. I know the items always look different on the menu than in real life. However, when I received the taco salad there was no meat, no salsa, and no sour cream. What I was given was a small salad with a small chili. When I called I was told this is how they make their taco salads dump the chili over the lettuce. Needless to say I wont be back! read more
