I visited this location on 4/19/26 at 5:30 on my way back from Orlando ~ I haven't visited a Zaxby's in probably 5 years or more ~ the Dining room was nice. The cashier was very nice and helpful when we ordered our food ~ me & my wife ordered the chicken tenders with french fries meal deal ~ the food was hot and freshly prepared ~ problem is the food was extremely salty ~ way way over seasoned ~ to the point where we could no longer finish eating our meal ~ now I'm not one to complain about salty food. I could do that at just about every restaurant that I visit ~ but when I tell you, this food was salty ~ I felt like I was dining in a salt shaker ~ I can tell you this much ~ I won't be dining at a Zaxby's location ever again read more

I ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was handed to me room temperature. The fries were hot but had no crisp at ll. The chicken was overly salty and bland. Pretty good for wings on the go for a drive thru. Its fast and efficient. The wait time if there is a line sometimes is a bit long. But has gotten better over time. Also not in the picture that I wanted to mention is their fried pickles and mushrooms, they're pretty good aswell. read more

First time at this location and it was a great experience! Food was great and the workers were very attentive. Multiple employees asked if we needed anything, social distancing was a breeze and everything was clean. We were not afraid to remove our masks to eat here. I will definitely be back next time I pass through Okeechobee. read more

Went to zaxbys for the bogo special they had. The food came out a little too quick. When I got home and started eating the chicken my husband and I said the chicken was not good. As a chicken specialty restaurant, I was actually quite impressed with the quality of the food that Zaxby's sells. Sure, it's still fast food, but the quality is above average when I compare it to other chicken places. It's way better than KFC, and Popeye's. The prices average a bit more, but I think it's fair considering the taste and the range of different selections they present. Another positive point is that the staff were very polite and helpful were happy to give suggestions when I told them that I hadn't been to the restaurant before. The restaurant was also very clean and the restrooms were also very well maintained. The only thing I can think of that they could probably improve was the speed of the food's delivery from the time of ordering. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it really wasn't that busy and I waited almost thirty minutes the first time I visited. In summary, I highly recommend Zaxby's and I enjoyed my visit and the food was very good. read more

We were so thrilled to find a Zaxby's in our favorite fishing town, but what a disappointment! Service was slow, fries were not seasoned, no lemon for my tea, tables were dirty, & there was no excuse because there was hardly anyone in the restaurant! So disappointed! This is more a review of all Zaxbys not just this one. They're nice. Their appearance holds promise. So much so that I want to like it and always have high hopes but 100% of the time I'm disappointed. At the end of the day it's just not good. Nothing here is good. They really do one thing. Chicken fingers. If you're going to do one thing they better be damn good. Well they're not. Mediocre at best. The fries? Meh. Their signature sauce? Amazingly uninteresting. Garlic bread? Meh. Nothing is awful just nothing is good enough for this place to really exist. I'm amazed Zaxbys made it past a single restaurant let alone a chain. read more

This horrible experience occurred October 23, 2018. This experience was such a disaster that we will never visit one of your establishments again. We were traveling and stopped in this location. We saw signs encouraging patrons to order online first. It took an hour to receive our order. The soda machine showed virtually every flavor to be out. The server offered to get us sodas from their other unit, in the back, as this one was out of order. There was no sign saying it was. The soda I got tasted like flavor enhanced water. Turns out that one was also out of order. My order of chicken fingers tasted like honey mustard coated vomit. And the french fries tasted artificial and were ice cold. I asked for my money back as the food was inedible and no, I did not want something else. The manager came over. She complained to me that she was short handed and she had to demand two employees come in on their day off. She also stated her requests for repairs had gone unanswered. She went to complain bitterly about her job. I was her customer. Why did I need to hear this? Let her take it up with the franchise owner or the corporation. The two bites I took of this garbage left me sick to my stomach. My only positive comment I can make is that the bathroom was clean. Over all, it was disgusting. read more
