They had crunch on the outside and plenty of salt. They stopped right before too much salt. Most places fail here. Layne's did not. The toast was simple, buttery, and toasted well. Had the Foul Mouth sandwich combo and cheddar biscuits with some chicken nuggets. The chicken was absolutely delicious with a spiced crust perfectly fried. The chicken was moist and when we added the sauces, we lost our mind. The biscuits are amazing too, but with the honey butter they were divine. Waldo's has a choice of three types of service: drive through/pick up service which is perfect for people under 21 and tee-totalers; counter service where you can still order alcohol but you have to do all the work and pay as you go; and full service at the bar where someone else does the work for you for a tip like a regular restaurant. Best thing at the end of the meal was NO STICKER SHOCK!! I estimated $35 (pre-tax&tip), and the actual bill was $35.57 (with tax).
