Great late night frosty trip! Us four guys dropped in for the good desserts and got very quick service, friendly treatment, and I noticed clean bathrooms and well managed place. I'd like to start off by saying we were disrespected I'm an officer and I would never treat the people that I have in custody the way we were treating....the orders were wrong the Manager Jody was as disrespectful as her employees...there was one young lady that couldn't get our order right...but instead of the Manager coming to find out what was going on she immediately told us we can leave...I really don't like to complain about my food but this was ridiculous...in my opinion the whole evening staff needs to be fired and replaced with respectful people..."Customer Service is everything" and if I could give a negative in the stars it would be *** Negative 5 stars*** this is the location in Monticello Indiana near the Walmart...No disrespect to Walmart read more

Good is ok, but not alway newly cooked, & warm. BUT, any WENDY'S is a cut above the other big one. Their bacon, added to a sandwich, is usually crisp & tasty. SO, being convenient to the shopping center, we stop by. A Chocolate FROSTY always tops off a meal. read more

We didn't get 1 of our sandwiches. We didn't notice until we got to the table. I go back up there with the tray and tell the same person who filled the order. She looks at me as if I'm speaking another language. I say I need the other sandwich. She finally says she'll bring one out to me. I go and sit down, but I'm facing the counter and can hear some of the conversation. It sounded like she was putting the blame on us. Like we stole a sandwich. Also at least 1 sandwich just like mine was given to someone else instead of me. I had already waited once for my sandwich and their error should have been immediately corrected. 10 mins or more later and I'm still waiting. The other person was done eating and wanted to go. Hit and miss at this location. You may get fresh hot fries along with a nice juicy burger... or you may get nuggets that are hard as a rock and ice cold potato sticks. Do not order the Crispy Chicken BLT! You only get one piece of bacon, broken in half. I was ready to take mine back after I didn't see bacon,,,, it was under the oversized piece of lettuce and tiny tomato! These are smaller than a Jr. Cheeseburger and the fries are way to salty! read more

Bad. Even for a Wendy's. The staff was young and inexperienced. It was chaos from the moment we placed our order to the moment we left. This place wasn't busy. At all. Yet, the girl at the counter was left alone when she obviously was still in training. The people behind her were all too busy talking. When we received our food, it was dripping in grease. We were towing our camper, and this had a parking lot big enough to accommodate it, so we ate here out of desperation. read more

Of all the fast food restaurants in Monticello (and there is a surprisingly ample amount of big and small chains represented here), I prefer Wendy's above all. The Wendy's here is a cross between a fast food restaurant and a diner. The manager walks around asking if you need anything, or could he get you a refill. They care if you're happy. It's clean, and the seating is organized well to give a spacious feeling. The staff at the counter are nice and friendly. If they get your order wrong, or even if you got your own order wrong (meant hamburger, not cheeseburger), they will correct it free of charge, and they even let you keep the wrong order. The new sea salt, hand-cut, russet potato french fries are almost as good as McDonald's. The spicy chicken sandwich is actually spicy enough for me. If it wasn't for the food, I could forget it was Wendy's and think I was at Angler's. read more
