This location is so hit or miss. We rarely eat fast food anymore, but every so often it is necessary to indulge. I usually go through the drive-thru. Sometimes (usually) you wait forever, sometimes you luck out. Sometimes they don't have spicy chicken nuggets or chicken filets for sandwiches. The unfortunate usual for food businesses these days. In general, attitudes could be improved. As in, it is better to express no emotion than negative emotion. I work retail, you have to put on an act frequently. The order is usually accurate. However.... I never - and I mean - NEVER get any BBQ sauce. I'll ask for an extra sauce in hopes I get 1. NEVER. I can count the times I have gotten a BBQ sauce cup from this location on 1 hand and I've lived near this Wendy's for 13-some years. What is up with that?!?!! It's not just BBQ, they are stingy with condiments in general. But in particular, BBQ. I don't understand. In a pinch, this location will do. Service is better than at the other chicken place down the road..... But if you like BBQ sauce, make sure you have some on hand. read more

Honestly this location, as it seems to be with all Wendy's, absolutely blows. Just horrendous customer service from the employees paired with no correction from the company itself. You'd think a company with millions of dollars of revenue a year would be able to streamline their service, but it really seems that there are two chimpanzees banging on telephones at their corporate office. Unfortunately, I was only able to eat a granola bar while working so as you could imagine I was starving after working a 12 hour shift. Around the 11th hour I began craving my all-time fav meal...grilled chicken sandwich, chili, and was going to wash it all down with an ice cold strawberry lemonade. It was around 10:30p, and I drove through the drive thru. After waiting about 4 minutes, a lovely automated voice stated, "welcome to Wendy's..order when your ready." I then proceeded with my meal. I was cut off by an employee over the speaker and told me that they are on "shift change." I responded with, "I can wait." The employee responded with, "ok." I was under the impression that this would take 5 minutes or so. After waiting 11 minutes, I said, "hello!" A different employee stated, "we on shift change for 45 minutes!" I was shocked and stated, "45 minutes!?!" The employee responded, "now it's 50 minutes!" I drove away like my pet just passed away. I was defeated and hungry! I had to settle on old faithful...Ronald McDonald! That was a crazy adventure too! This was a horrible, horrible experience. Dave would be disappointed if he realized this was going on. I don't know why i keep doing this too myself but I do.. these things will make me go back to be being vegetarian. So the other night, 7/8/20 my son and I decided to get food because it was extremely hot and hey what the hell. We pull up to Wendy's store # 3431- I know this because im looking at the receipt as I write this. Anyway the snarly little attitude voice comes through the intercom. "Umm you can go ahead with your order". Ok damn no Hello, may i take your order? So i proceed to tell the apparenty angry and disgruntal voice what i would like, before I could get the words out little angry box decided to interupt me several times. So at this point ok I try to quickly get through my order when here it comes again- "Umm 17.27 pull up to the window". Ok little angry- aren't you gonna ask me what size? So you'd just assume that what you give me is what i want? I politely asked little JEANESSA could she make a change in the size because lime I said, it's myself and my son and let's face it we all know how teenagers eat.. neither here nor there but here's the thing, when I asked ms. Rude and angry for being at work - she instantly storms off and you can hear her saying " can you do this for her" first of all HER!!! and what happened to customer etiquette? Sir, ma'am, or even the lady who is waiting at the window!! Clearly HER co workers were obviously annoyed and had no idea what little "tude's" issue really was. I guess because everyone else was busy, or quite frankly not wanted too be bothered with her oh so lovely disposition, she had to complete the order. In turn she shoved my order in my hand then very aggressively closed the drive through window. Just a suggestion- when people are applying for customer service. The service part should be reviewed and evaluated. Not used to blow smoke up the asses of customers spending their money in establishments. I think everyone that works there is stupid. I always order a chicken Asiago sandwich but I always get a normal chicken sandwich. Seriously? This is the 3rd time it's happened. They are super slow. They don't care. They just want their paycheck. But it's capital and the north side. That's how those people like to do it and live. Very unimpressed. Based on the reviews. This wendy's we arrived at took 20 minutes to get to order the food. and when we went to order the lady over the speaker was very rude and very grumpy when we got up to the window she wouldn't look at us at all, every time she went to hand us something she would never look out the window or look at us when handing something. we had to reach out of the vehicle in a very uncomfortable manner and grab the food. after we got the food which we ordered 2 frosties she only handed us 1 and seemed very rude when we asked for our other one after closing the window in our face she proceeded to hand us the other one and say enjoy then closing the window very promptly again in our faces. we drove off and tried a drink of our soda we realized it was a diet coke and not a dr pepper like we ordered. we didn't want to go back and deal with terrible customer service again. horrible experience. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've ever stopped at. Went through the drive thru and they were so busy screwing around and laughing that despite the fact that I said "iced tea" several times and very succinctly I still ended up with Hi-C. The people that worked tonight were pretty nice, but that's about it. I've visited this location before and never had problems. Tonight I had to wait a very long time just to put my order in, but there was some problem with the order ahead of me so I was ok with that. Not so much when I got home with my food. I got the baconator combo....basically no mayonnaise on the sandwich so it was very dry. The beef patties were burnt, cheese seemed to be completely melted away, the bacon was so hard it would be considered 30x's too crispy, parts of the bun were scorched black, and the fries were cold. You say, "hello?" over and over again and nothing. Four cars have left the line while we were waiting bc it is taking so long. Your typical Wendy's; I went on a Saturday morning with my grandmother. I had the Almond Berry Chicken salad. If you like a lightly dressed salad then the one packet they provide is sufficent enough but if not then be sure to ask for an extra one. Food was hot and the establishment was clean. Wendy's quality went way down hill since the last time if had it years ago. I remember coming to this location and getting all sorts of stuff on the menu. All of it was hot, cheap and delicious. Now it has become worse than McDonald's. Everything on the menu got way more expensive, smaller, lower quality, and lacking in flavor. I got the large spicy chicken sandwich meal and my fries were like someone already ate half of them before I could get to them. The chicken breast has gotten thinner and less juicy. Even though, I always mispronounce this restaurant as Windy's rather than Wendy's, it is probably my favorite fast food restaurant. Side note: I don't really eat fast food. That being said, their chicken nuggets are soooo good, they cannot be considered fast food, but the food of the gods. The frosty is a bit confusing, is it ice cream or a milk shake? Do not let this conundrum ruin your Wendy's experience. I sometimes like to be adventuresome and dip my chicken nuggets into the frosty. I know, getting wild. I love this Wendy's. The staff is always friendly, quick and accurate. They are also one of the few Wendy's I have ever been to that but just the right amount of condiments on the sandwiches, instead of drowning it in mayo/mustard/ketchup.
