Wendy's chain located off mudd lane and Preston Highway in the hillview neighborhood of louisville Kentucky. Wendy's is a popular and famous national fast food establishment. Most people know by now if they enjoy the massive Dave Thomas franchise by now. Me personally o enjoy the bacon cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich with options of chili instead of fries and I can always find room for a tasty frosty milkshake treat. Usually in fast food places I rate off things such as accuracy, cleanliness and service. This Wendy's location usually checks the boxes on most of those things. It is in a heavy congested potion of Preston Highway so it gets crowded. They usually do a decent job of working the line and getting your order correct. My biggest issue with this location is more of an engineering flaw. So you pull off Preston at a major 4 way intersection onto mudd lane and hit a wicked curve immediately and the entrance and exit of Wendy's is right on that curve. So pulling in and pulling out of this place can be very dangerous and hard to see and maneuver in busy high traffic times. Other than that I have no Problems or reasons to avoid This location. It has served my kids and me with a quick meal and frosty treat before and after movies at the showcase cinemas located about a mile or so down the road. read more

We waited in line for 6 minutes before the lady would take out order. We ordered 2 Frosty's, we paid and waited an addition 9 minutes. This store is horrible and constantly slow af. The people here are literally incompetent. I say one worker who can outside, smoking by the front door and just picking his nose, seriously disgusting, guys. The store inside is not that great either, it's dirty and run down. C'mon Wendy's, what the heck is going on guys? Y'all are better than this! read more

This is the worst Wendy's in Louisville, Somehow it's worse than the Taylor Blvd Wendy's. They must be controlled by the same Franchise. The employees are rude, like it's shocking how they treat just normal people ordering food. This Wendy's is disrespectful to your time. Example: drive all the way to Wendy's and they're closed during normal hours (this has happened multiple times) Soda machine doesn't work sometimes, there are flies, gnats & bugs flying around inside. This place is so gross that I'm reporting this Wendy's to the health department. If you do go to Wendy's and they are open check your food. More often than not they will forget some food, and then it's always stressful when you tell them because they are so incredibly rude. Also, found a hair in the chili last time. Not visiting here again. read more

This place is a joke. Every time we stop here. Today we waited 15 minutes in drive thru for a shift change only to be told the frosty machine is down. What a waste. Service here always sucks every time we come. read more

I like the food. The service is hit or miss. Today was weird. I paid in the drive thru then the lady come to the other window and told me they didn't have what I wanted. So I had to reorder took sooo long. 35 mins waiting in the drive thru. Go anywhere else. read more

We had an absolutely terrible experience and will not be back. We ordered and ate inside. Just ordering our food was the biggest hassle. Our food came out fast but we soon found out why. There was nothing we'd ordered that was fresh... all cold. We didn't complain and ate the food anyways due to being hungry. We didn't complain because we normally never do. Plus, just dealing with the people working wasn't worth it. We're questioning whether we'll come down with food poisoning. They have a B from their most recent inspection. We understood why after leaving. The floors were disgusting. read more

If I could give zero Stars I would . On numerous occasions I've had to stop at this Wednesday's Wendy's and had to drive away due to no service . There is no one ahead of me , no one paying no one waiting for their food , and yet the same gentleman that works the intercom says I'll be right with you in 10 minutes later there was nobody to take the order . Even if you drive up to the window where you pick up the food they don't even open up the window there to take your order or ask if there is a problem they just stare at you . Abominable service. read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. The service is genuinely horrendous. We sat in line just to get some sauce, and nobody else was in the restaurant. The female at the window somehow NATURALLY had a frown on her face? And not like a normal frown, it was like the face a blob fish makes when the pressure at the bottom of the ocean is too severe to handle the weight on its face anymore. And my frosty was somehow gritty? Truly it's not good. And their parking lot smells like peas. Not good. read more

Order the cheeseburger with nothing but pickle and got a chicken sandwich. Horrible service

Placed a mobile order and we had to sit in line for 14 minutes before a rude worker finally would talk to us.

This Wendys location is probably just as bad as the location downtown. The only difference is this location is so slow you may never see your food if you have an hour lunch. read more

This is BY FAR the worst Wendy's I have ever been to! We placed a mobile order and the manager Derek rudely refused to let us pick it up inside and also refused to bring it out to us, forcing us to wait in this RIDICULOUS drive thru line. read more

Wendy's - Drive thru line - Burgers Near Me - Louisville, Kentucky

slow I waited in drive thru no one answered me. so went in and no one even acknowledged me. won't be back.

We have waited in the drive-thru line for a grand total of around an hour and a half over two separate visits. And both times, no one took our order. The first time, workers were seated inside hanging out at a table, supposedly filling mobile orders only, even though it wasn't anywhere near closing time. The second time, cars in front of us were ordering and being served, but when we approached the speaker, no one came on at all. No one let us know they were about close, nothing like that. They just disappeared on us. Corporate needs to fix this location ASAP. read more

By far the worst location of wendy's. I ordered through doordash for pick and when i got to the location to pick up my order, the lobby doors were locked, forcing me to have wait in the drive thru line. Even though i was 3 vehicles back from the 2nd window to get my food, it took WAYYYYYYYY!!!! too long for them to get the 2 vehicles orders out to them. This caused my food to get cold and old. Had they unlocked the lobby, i could had my food fresh when it was ready for pick up. They either need to shut this location down or get better staff. Oh and to add, when i tried to call the location to tell them i was there for pick up doordash order, they kept hanging up. So they'll be hearing from corporate pretty soon. read more

Man I really enjoy Wendy's. It is one of my favorite fast food establishments. I do like it better than McDonald's and Burger King I think they make really good hamburgers. The best thing I like about Wendy's those chicken nuggets are phenomenal they are really good price and it does better white meat compared to its competitors in my opinion. Wendy's always has a friendly staff always has good food I do really like it. Reason why I gave us a three out of four stars is cuz of what a location is it is always slammed crowded and the parking lot is just hard to get in and out of with that traffic light right down there by it. It is a good place I do enjoy Wendy's and I do recommend it read more

Zero Star Wendy's!!! If you have an hour to waste in the drive thru go here!!! If your paying with a card, they'll say their card machines are down; or if your paying with cash they'll say their only accepting cards even after waiting in those lines. So don't do it. Save your time and drive to Shepherdsville if you want fast food and live near Hillview because all the Fast food Restaurants in Hillview near Peddlers Mall all have the same problems and are a joke!!! They need to close down all of them and start over!!! It's sad as they used to be so good! But all the owners now have Covid-itis and have ran their restaurants into the ground!!! Owners wake up!!!!! Or one day all your customers WILL BE GONE and SO WILL YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!! read more

32 minutes from pulling in to food in hand. 18 minutes in line to order. Order wrong, no straw or napkins. I'm without words. read more

Your better off to go sit down somewhere because I guarantee that would be faster than waiting through their drive thru line. When I went I was picking up a doordash and there was about 6 cars in line before me and it literally took well over 45 mins and I actually couldn't even take the doordash because I had somewhere to be. I wasted 45 mins of my life for nothing. Thank you Wendy's for always being trash :( read more

Waited forEVER in a drive thru line. At 7pm on a Friday, the dining room wasn't even open to use as an option. We tried to call before even going to see if this location had the new Frosty in, but of course no one picked up. So we wasted a ton of time for nothing. Also, they were only accepting cash! If something happens to your card reader there should be an employee going outside to tell the people in line, or a sign at the entrance to the parking lot at the very least. read more

Wendy's Drive thru is normally quick. I don't eat here that much but when we do the food is good.

ordered food on door dash at 530pm and now it is 630pm and its still not ready and i have had 2 different dashers there to pick it up this store just needs to close for good it has really gone down hill in the last year i dont even know why i keep giving them a chance read more

I came to this Wendy's at 9:15 pm. Only 4 cars ahead of me and within my 23 minute wait we only moved up one spot. Extremely annoying seeing 5+ employees inside yet we can't even get a couple burgers. I understand why they work there, because in the real world they would be chewed alive. Smh read more

the line never freaking moves plus I do not understand why they are ever open when nobody comes to work! I been sitting in the same spot since I got here for 30 minutes! plus the 2 people in there are rude! and they got one person running cashier and and making food like wth! read more

This place has really turned around! The new layout is great and adds for extra space for lines during rush times. The staff is friendly and the management always makes sure to take care of the customer if something goes wrong. Service time is fast even when there is a rush of people. I came for lunch and decided to dine in, little did I know there was actually a bus load of kids who were just dropped off for lunch too. There was about 30-40 kids ordering food before me. This crew had things under control even though it seemed hectic. It took maybe an extra 15 minutes to sort through everyone's order but I was still able to order, eat, and make it back to work in time. Kudos to the Wendy's team working this day because my grilled chicken sandwich was fresh off the grill and piping hot. It even melted my asiago cheese, double win! read more

Very very slow service. Whether there are 4 cars in line or 10, plan on waiting at least 20 minutes or more.

Wendy's in general my fav fast food restaurant. This location isn't the best or worst I've ever been too. They seem to have trouble keeping help. Sometimes the lines in DT take awhile to get through. But usually my order is hot and correct. Ill continue to come there read more

The manager decided to have a 35 minute meeting with his entire staff and the reason I know this is because I seen them all standing in the dining room talking and laughing. I was there for almost 50 minutes. I understand they are short staffed but why the meeting. The line didn't move for 35 minutes and not one person got to order. In the future I just ask the manager to understand we have to get to work this made me late but the food was for work people so I got away with it. read more

Sometimes the food is okay sometimes not so much. Service is good though. Love the chicken nuggets and singles.

We usually have good experiences here, but Friday night my #13 was really messed up - the chicken was so hard it must have been over cooked and/or sat under heater for too long. The meat was so hard I could barely bite into it. My boyfriend's chicken sandwich was the freshest we have ever seen. I called and spoke to a manager, Monica, and she told me to stop by any time, mention her name and I'll receive a compensated meal. So, I went Saturday night and asked for my meal..... and yet again the chicken was hard as hell/old!!! It wasn't worth me going back in and asking yet again bc manager isn't there and this seems to be a bigger issue of over cooking batches and letting chicken sit under the warmer too long. I'd love to speak to a manager, and I'll be contacting corporate. I don't wana sound so mean but I'm so disappointed and shocked that I received the same low quality meat two nights in a row...especially after telling them tonight I'm picking up a compensated meal. You'd think they'd make sure it was done well since they messed up last night ‍ read more

First of all I can't comment on the food because apparently they have a problem with taking the order. After waiting for two minutes being ignored I was approached at the counter and asked "What do you need" instead of can I help you. Or can I take your order. The girl took my coupon to the back because another worker was micro managing her and she felt it more important to walk to the back instead of taking my order. Then another lady came to the counter to help me and I said well the other girl has my coupon. She then said I'll just let her help you then and she walked off. The other girl that had my order and coupon was distracted a second time by being micromanaged by another worker. I then walked out and went and ate elsewhere. I will not tolerate incompetence. I will not eat at Wendys anymore also. I can be better helped and at least treated like a paying customer at Chick Fil A or Starbucks, than to be disrespected by workers who don't want to be there in the first place. read more

literally worst experience I have had in a very long time.... we waited in line for over an hour and a half I had two sperate orders she literally gave me the wrong drink on one of the orders and sat shkk on ved the bags out the window as soon as i took them she shit the window very hard without giving us any of the sauces we needed or asking if we meeded anything else. I got home and the order was completely wrong...I called up there a guy answered...proceeded to tell me he was the manager and if i wanted my order comped I had to come back up there again instead of just comping me over the phone. I said after being in a hot car for over an hour I'd rather not but mcdonalds would've comped me and he said were not mcdonalds ....So rude for no reason, I asked to speak to someone else and another rude lady took over the phone. I live in the area and I dont think I'll be back to this place after such a horrible experience. read more

Not much to say but the service in the drive thru was speedy and friendly and the food was standard fast food quality.

Heavy metal music blaring in the dining room and dirty tables. Food was normal for a Wendy's but the atmosphere made it less than pleasant. They need to play music that the majority of people can enjoy and it doesn't take that much effort to wipe down tables. Would make a huge difference. read more

Went to get my wife and son frostys. Workers busy sorting out others messed up orders. No vanilla no big deal but after I paid There was no spoons and 3 people waiting for them. Was told they were short handed { did not know they made the spoons there}. The worst drive thru time in Louisville. Holy moly. I should send the owner a bill for lost time. Wow. Terrible. Just terrible. Stuck in line for 20 min read more

the men working the drive through at night are unnecessarily rude. especially when it's fault for messing up your order. get it together

I just returned home from this particular Wendy's just a moment ago. My daughter is sick, and she wouldn't eat anything, except Wendy's nuggets sounded good to her. So as any parent would do, I went to Wendy's drive up window and ordered dinner tonight for my family. I placed my order, received my order and hurried home, just to find that the only thing my daughter would eat, was not in any of the bags. So I drove all the way back up there, this time parked and went in, receipt in hand. While waiting my turn at the counter I noticed that on the menu board it says 2 for $5 for 10 piece nuggets plain or spicy. I had ordered 2, 10 piece nuggets, 1 plain, 1 spicy. But I was charged $3.09 a piece. So once my turn came, I explained how I didn't receive my full order, and showed my receipt. And despite her giving me a small bag with what I was shorted, that just so happened to be sitting there, cold in fact, she made me feel as though I was stealing, or asking for something free. And so I pointed out how I was also charged $3.09 each, rather than the 2 for $5 that was on the wall menu board right behind her, she says they don't do that deal, despite it being on the wall behind her, and being advertised online. At this point I didn't care enough to argue or push the point, as I wouldn't have even bothered driving back up there had it been anything else on my order, other than the entire reason I was there to begin with was for those nuggets. So after working my 10hr shift, and coming home to one of my kids being sick, I'm spending my precious time writing this review, while eating my cold Wendy's burger that's been sitting here waiting for me while I had to ride back up for the rest of my order, all the while it is pouring rain like crazy, to the point nobody in they're right mind would even be out and about. So in closing, thank you Wendy's for such a memorable experience, one that I'm sure to never forget, especially when I'm hungry. 1/11/2020, #3288, 7:04pm read more
