This is the worst Wendy's in Louisville, Somehow it's worse than the Taylor Blvd Wendy's. They must be controlled by the same Franchise. The employees are rude, like it's shocking how they treat just normal people ordering food. This Wendy's is disrespectful to your time. Example: drive all the way to Wendy's and they're closed during normal hours (this has happened multiple times) Soda machine doesn't work sometimes, there are flies, gnats & bugs flying around inside. We had an absolutely terrible experience and will not be back. We ordered and ate inside. Just ordering our food was the biggest hassle. Our food came out fast but we soon found out why. There was nothing we'd ordered that was fresh... all cold. We didn't complain and ate the food anyways due to being hungry. We didn't complain because we normally never do. There is no one ahead of me , no one paying no one waiting for their food , and yet the same gentleman that works the intercom says I'll be right with you in 10 minutes later there was nobody to take the order . Wendy's chain located off mudd lane and Preston Highway in the hillview neighborhood of louisville Kentucky. Wendy's is a popular and famous national fast food establishment. Most people know by now if they enjoy the massive Dave Thomas franchise by now. Me personally o enjoy the bacon cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich with options of chili instead of fries and I can always find room for a tasty frosty milkshake treat. Usually in fast food places I rate off things such as accuracy, cleanliness and service. This Wendy's location usually checks the boxes on most of those things. It is in a heavy congested potion of Preston Highway so it gets crowded. They usually do a decent job of working the line and getting your order correct. My biggest issue with this location is more of an engineering flaw. So you pull off Preston at a major 4 way intersection onto mudd lane and hit a wicked curve immediately and the entrance and exit of Wendy's is right on that curve. So pulling in and pulling out of this place can be very dangerous and hard to see and maneuver in busy high traffic times. Other than that I have no Problems or reasons to avoid This location. It has served my kids and me with a quick meal and frosty treat before and after movies at the showcase cinemas located about a mile or so down the road. read more

The female at the window somehow NATURALLY had a frown on her face? We have waited in the drive-thru line for a grand total of around an hour and a half over two separate visits. And both times, no one took our order. The first time, workers were seated inside hanging out at a table, supposedly filling mobile orders only, even though it wasn't anywhere near closing time. The second time, cars in front of us were ordering and being served, but when we approached the speaker, no one came on at all. No one let us know they were about close, nothing like that. They just disappeared on us. Corporate needs to fix this location ASAP. read more

By far the worst location of wendy's. I ordered through doordash for pick and when i got to the location to pick up my order, the lobby doors were locked, forcing me to have wait in the drive thru line. Even though i was 3 vehicles back from the 2nd window to get my food, it took WAYYYYYYYY!!!! too long for them to get the 2 vehicles orders out to them. This caused my food to get cold and old. Had they unlocked the lobby, i could had my food fresh when it was ready for pick up. They either need to shut this location down or get better staff. Oh and to add, when i tried to call the location to tell them i was there for pick up doordash order, they kept hanging up. So they'll be hearing from corporate pretty soon. read more

Man I really enjoy Wendy's. It is one of my favorite fast food establishments. I do like it better than McDonald's and Burger King I think they make really good hamburgers. The best thing I like about Wendy's those chicken nuggets are phenomenal they are really good price and it does better white meat compared to its competitors in my opinion. Wendy's always has a friendly staff always has good food I do really like it. Reason why I gave us a three out of four stars is cuz of what a location is it is always slammed crowded and the parking lot is just hard to get in and out of with that traffic light right down there by it. Waited forEVER in a drive thru line. At 7pm on a Friday, the dining room wasn't even open to use as an option. We tried to call before even going to see if this location had the new Frosty in, but of course no one picked up. So we wasted a ton of time for nothing. Also, they were only accepting cash! If something happens to your card reader there should be an employee going outside to tell the people in line, or a sign at the entrance to the parking lot at the very least. read more

This place has really turned around! The new layout is great and adds for extra space for lines during rush times. The staff is friendly and the management always makes sure to take care of the customer if something goes wrong. Service time is fast even when there is a rush of people. I came for lunch and decided to dine in, little did I know there was actually a bus load of kids who were just dropped off for lunch too. There was about 30-40 kids ordering food before me. This crew had things under control even though it seemed hectic. It took maybe an extra 15 minutes to sort through everyone's order but I was still able to order,eat, and make it back to work in time. Kudos to the Wendy's team working this day because my grilled chicken sandwich was fresh off the grill and piping hot. It even melted my asiago cheese, double win! read more

The manager decided to have a 35 minute meeting with his entire staff and the reason I know this is because I seen them all standing in the dining room talking and laughing. I was there for almost 50 minutes. I understand they are short staffed but why the meeting. The line didn't move for 35 minutes and not one person got to order. We usually have good experiences here, but Friday night my #13 was really messed up - the chicken was so hard it must have been over cooked and/or sat under heater for too long. The meat was so hard I could barely bite into it. My boyfriend's chicken sandwich was the freshest we have ever seen. I called and spoke to a manager, Monica, and she told me to stop by any time, mention her name and I'll receive a compensated meal. So, I went Saturday night and asked for my meal..... and yet again the chicken was hard as hell/old!!! It wasn't worth me going back in and asking yet again bc manager isn't there and this seems to be a bigger issue of over cooking batches and letting chicken sit under the warmer too long. First of all I can't comment on the food because apparently they have a problem with taking the order. After waiting for two minutes being ignored I was approached at the counter and asked "What do you need" instead of can I help you. Or can I take your order. The girl took my coupon to the back because another worker was micro managing her and she felt it more important to walk to the back instead of taking my order. Then another lady came to the counter to help me and I said well the other girl has my coupon. She then said I'll just let her help you then and she walked off. The other girl that had my order and coupon was distracted a second time by being micromanaged by another worker. I then walked out and went and ate elsewhere. I will not tolerate incompetence. I will not eat at Wendys anymore also. literally worst experience I have had in a very long time.... we waited in line for over an hour and a half I had two sperate orders she literally gave me the wrong drink on one of the orders and sat shkk on ved the bags out the window as soon as i took them she shit the window very hard without giving us any of the sauces we needed or asking if we meeded anything else. Went to get my wife and son frostys. Workers busy sorting out others messed up orders. No vanilla no big deal but after I paid There was no spoons and 3 people waiting for them. Was told they were short handed { did not know they made the spoons there}. I just returned home from this particular Wendy's just a moment ago. My daughter is sick, and she wouldn't eat anything, except Wendy's nuggets sounded good to her. So as any parent would do, I went to Wendy's drive up window and ordered dinner tonight for my family. I placed my order, received my order and hurried home, just to find that the only thing my daughter would eat, was not in any of the bags. So I drove all the way back up there, this time parked and went in, receipt in hand. While waiting my turn at the counter I noticed that on the menu board it says 2 for $5 for 10 piece nuggets plain or spicy. I had ordered 2, 10 piece nuggets, 1 plain, 1 spicy. But I was charged $3.09 a piece. So once my turn came, I explained how I didn't receive my full order, and showed my receipt. And despite her giving me a small bag with what I was shorted, that just so happened to be sitting there, cold in fact, she made me feel as though I was stealing, or asking for something free. And so I pointed out how I was also charged $3.09 each, rather than the 2 for $5 that was on the wall menu board right behind her, she says they don't do that deal, despite it being on the wall behind her, and being advertised online. At this point I didn't care enough to argue or push the point, as I wouldn't have even bothered driving back up there had it been anything else on my order, other than the entire reason I was there to begin with was for those nuggets. So after working my 10hr shift, and coming home to one of my kids being sick, I'm spending my precious time writing this review, while eating my cold Wendy's burger that's been sitting here waiting for me while I had to ride back up for the rest of my order, all the while it is pouring rain like crazy, to the point nobody in they're right mind would even be out and about.
