It's funny when you compare size, the grilled one is so small compared to the double fried super breaded other one. I asked for medium heat, but it really tasted mild. The Gouda Mac is good like always, but the dirty fries... Oh my God... So salty!!! You can literally see it's covered in salt crystals!! I only ate like three and had to throw out the rest, what a waste of a side. For dessert, I got their seasonal apple cobbler... Does not hit like the peach cobbler. Way too much cinnamon, not enough caramel just very blah. Overall, really disappointed with my lunch. I was not satisfied at all, and I will probably not be coming back for quite some time.

It's located in a nondescript building that's basically one large dining room with a bar in the back. Since we got there at the top of the lunch hour, it was not busy so we were served very quickly. The menu had lots of interesting options - I went with the Beer Braised Pork Street Tacos and could not have been more pleased with my choice. They are made with shaved pieces of pork topped with lettuce, Muenster cheese, honey mustard, and pickles. The taste of all that together is excellent. If you are in the area, this is an excellent choice for a good lunch!

It's definitely a small, family run business, and they make everything to order, which is always a plus. I went with the fish combo, which came with two pieces of fish and two sides. I chose the fries and mac and cheese, and also added a side of hush puppies. Overall, the food was good. The fish was fresh and flavorful, the fries were seasoned well, and the hush puppies were a nice addition. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the mac and cheese. It reminded me a bit of KFC's mac and cheese, which just isn't my preference. All in all, it's a solid spot. If I'm ever back in the Lakeland area, I'd definitely stop by again to give the chicken a try.
