They are incredibly slow. We ordered a salad, a premade salad, and have been waiting for like 10 minutes for our food. Every person who orders ends up having to pull up and wait for food because they're that slow. Never again. They're always slow (you will wait a while), but today wins. ETA: They told us we were waiting because the "avocados were frozen." We got home and they didn't even put avocados on. It's a southwest avocado salad. read more

Cold and soggy fries. Brown and expired lettuce. Also messed my food up and didn't inform me on the stuff they were out of when I ordered, instead let my pay for it and basically said tough luck. It's been a minute since the last time that I tried to get food from here. Dad had a craving and coupons from this Sunday's paper. To put it simply. I informed the cashier (drive thru) that I had a coupon. She gave me the price. I started to question it, and was told to pull up. I hand the woman my card and coupon. She did not give me a receipt. When I got home we checked the price on the website. The coupon was not honored. Shady AF. And dad wonders why I don't like going to Wendy's. read more

Get exactly what you should expect from a fast food place conveniently open all night! The manager Jordan went above and beyond for us. The ice cream machine was just turned off but he made a frosty for us anyway! Then it turned out a little runny so he didn't charge us. We really appreciate his great customer service! So rude. Almost everyone is offering a limited menu right now, so that I completely understand. What's unacceptable is the person taking my order to talk to me like I'm the stupid one for asking if you have a specific item, when your sign just says "limited menu until further notice." Then the rudeness continued when I asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich. The lady said, "we don't have none of that stuff." After I ordered nearly $20 worth of food using a coupon for two dollars off a large salad returning to the hospital 3 miles away I realized I have six napkins and no eating utensils I was very disappointed so needless to say I called the first time I called it rang and rang and rang and finally just gave up on it so I thought hmmmmm and I called back and the manager I don't know his name but he remembered me. We had heard the new Wendy's in Lake Jackson was opening today, so I went by about mid-morning. There were several of the staff outside who stated they would open at 12 Noon. There were no Grand Opening or Open at 12 Noon signs. Other than the staff around really busy it was hard to tell this store was planning to open today. I parked to the side and watched the activity. There were many cars driving by stalking this new addition to our community. I left for awhile then returned about 11:40 AM thinking maybe I missed the announcement and that people would be lined up waiting. That was not the case. The place looked pretty much like it did an hour and a half earlier. I sat on the curb and added this new business to Yelp, then stood under the tent they had erected at the drive thru entrance with three others. A couple of employees came out to let us know they were not yet open. Around 11:55 AM we went and stood by the door. A car came through the drive through line, then a manager stepped out to let us know they needed 10-15 more minutes before they would be ready to serve us. Everyone was very professional and polite. About five minutes more then they invited us in and asked us to take a seat. We had been joined by a teenage boy who was excited about getting in to order a frosty. Once we were inside a tray of Frostys were brought to us, like we were at a party. We were told they were going to do a short equipment test and therefore we could go through the line and order whatever we wanted free. The staff was gracious and excited about their new store. We placed our orders and I noticed while we were eating they were putting the cones and barricades out, so I asked when the official opening would be held. The company representative stated, "in twenty minutes." They all went outside for a group photo while we finished our meal. When we were leaving many of the employees thanked us for coming in. I had chili, fries and a strawberry lemonade... that was after my frosty! Thank you Wendy's and welcome to Lake Jackson. We are so happy you are here. I will be back, often. read more

I'm trying to see why in the H is this Wendy's is soooo slow!! This is my 3rd time and FINAL time trying to give this location a chance. I'm about 5 months new to the area and the service is ridiculous ! I need for the DM or someone hiring up than just the store manager to see the slowness first hand. I don't believe you should put a new person at the register if it's busy. Throw them on the food line or something. I pull up and the see the cars wrapped around the building so i still get in line because I'm having high hopes its going to be fast. WRONG!! So I'm in the drive thru line for about 10 min and about 5 cars away from the intercom to place my order. So I decided to get out of the line and go inside. I go inside, people are in there waiting for their food for at least 20 minutes. I asked one guy how long has he been waiting and he told me 25 minutes. Finally his order come and he only order 4 burgers and 1 fry!! Wow!!! Just wow!!! Finally after 15 minutes of waiting for my food I asked a worker what number is my order and she said its up next. Smh. I get my food, and walk outside to see the truck that was in front of me in the drive thru was in motion to just get to the intercom. Wowwwwww again! I went this morning because I wanted to try breakfast from Wendy's. 1st the woman working the drive through was hard to understand and when I asked what she said she replied with "Oh my God" like I was annoying her. So I let that slide and made my order when she replied "our debit machine is down and we are only taking exact cash for payment". I got to the window and asked her how was she doing and she just stared at me and didn't say anything. I gave her the exact amount and she says pull up and we will bring it to you even though I was the only one in the drive through. I pulled up and waited for 15 minutes before they brought me my food. One of the worst experiences I've had at a drive thru. There was no one in line before or after me and the lady who took my order was very rude. She even commented on how "it's lucky [she's] nice" because I asked for one addition to my order at the window. I will never go back to this location again. I enjoy Wendy's food and the food we got this evening did not disappoint. However, the service was very slow. We opted to order inside and there were five people between us and the order register when we got there. It took us about fifteen minutes to reach the register. We ordered and decided to go sit down even though our order was to go because we could see it would be awhile. We placed the order at 7:12 according to the time on the receipt and we got our food, one double, one garden salad and one small chili, at about 7:43. People were complaining. Hopefully they will fix the problem before we go back. read more

I've been a fan of Wendy's since Dave ran the company. This new location in LJ doesn't deserve the name. They are incredibly slow; I've waited 15 minutes and more for a couple of cars in front of me. They are masters as getting orders wrong; maybe it's poor training, maybe it's drugs, who knows. Their burgers are very variable--can it be that hard to make the proper burger as the company dictates? Nasty staff--I mean nasty as in haven't taken baths in some time. I've had a couple who just plain stank. I continue to stop at Wendy's locations in Houston when the occasion arises. Never here again. It's the closest hamburger restaurant to my home, but I'll drive to Whataburger or Sonic and get my money's worth. This place really, really needs some company monitoring and management. read more

I went there the day after it opened. Got served quickly and the food was good. Yet it was noisy. Went a second time a day later. Fast service and good food again but it was nosier than before. I could barely hear the person taking my order. They even had music playing which added to the noise. So I only gave them 4 stars because of the noise. Since when is it ok to give out refried, old French fries? Not just refried, I got hard French fries, not crisp...inedibly hard. I just left, having gone through the drive thru. I have never gotten fries like this from any place in Lake Jackson. read more
