By far one of the worst fast food experiences of my life! My friend and I went to Wendy's tonight since I was craving a burger and he thinks Wendy's has the best fries. We walked in and we immediately felt out of place. The Wendy's is connected to a gas station but the doors weren't open. Strange. It was 6:30pm. So we went around to another door and it was unlocked. I ordered the $5 deal with a double stack, nuggets fries and a drink. My friend got the 10piece chicken nugget combo. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, we were the only ones there. The cashier had to scoop the chicken nuggets back into the box since they landed all over the tray. He did so with his bare hands. Gross. My burger was put on the dinning tray multiple times and taken off several times, weird. When we finally was able to eat our food, the nuggets were pale and undercooked. My burger had condiments all over the top of the bun and was ice cold. The fries tasted like hot potato, no oil and no salt. Decided to go try their breakfast. Had to say hello? At the drive thru speaker because nobody greeted us, woman taking our order seemed confused and we had to repeat ourselves several times, the sandwiches were barely warm, cold bread, cheese wasn't melted, the sausage is too spicy for my taste, croissant cakes on your teeth, really unappetizing, the frosty-ccino is awful, tiny bit of frosty in the bottom, tastes like an unsweetened version of the Starbucks Frappuccino you buy in the bottle at the grocery store. Only saving grace is the potato wedges are quite good. Every drive thru we have been at during this pandemic they have all worn masks and gloves. Not here, she had on no mask and no gloves.
