Went on a long walk and wanted something to cool me down so decided to stop at Wendy's for a frosty. Was debating trying a new one but ended up getting a classic chocolate cause that's what's sounded the best. I ordered my frosty on the kiosk and I had it in hand in less than five minutes. I love that frosty taste. And they have me the new Wednesday spoon which made it even better. This trip gets five stars but we'll see what happens next time since this location doesn't seem to have the best reviews. read more

Hit the Wendy's Drive thru at around 9pm and got so pissed off with Ms Nasty Attitude, when I tried ordering the JCB COMBO with a Tangerine Lemonade as my drink we cancelled the order and pulled right out! The young woman on the microphone told me I could only order a 'regular drink' with the combo. Then when I questioned that she disappeared off the mic. Nope! Not when I'm spending my money. Not all Wendy's are created equal. At this Wendy's, which I frequent fairly often because I eat fast food, I find these employees to be the worst. It seems like they really don't care to help you, they don't care to be there, and when they can they try to make the whole process more difficult than it should be. I've seen this happen with me and also with other customers. At a fast food spot like Wendy's or any other fast food spot, the attitude of the employees, the friendliness, the cleanliness, as well as the quality of the food, is what separates a terrible location from a good location. This location is rough. Too many of my fast food quality indicators get no credit here which makes it difficult to give anything more than one star. If I could avoid this Wendy's, I do, and I go to another one. Unfortunately, it's close. I hope they retrain these employees, the managers, and this location improves in the future. read more

This is not my first time coming to this Wendy's but it certainly will be my last. The employee who rang me up has no idea what it means to cover her mouth so that she doesn't spread her germs all over the place. I placed my 4 for $4 to-go order along with 2 double chocolate cookies, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and 2 sugar cookies. As I waited for my order I decided to walk over to the soda machine. The machine needs to be changed because I tried three different brands of soda and they all tasted like a Soda Stream commercial. I ended up settling on Dr. Pepper Cherry which tasted better than the last three sodas I sampled. As I waited for my to-go order I noticed that it was incorrect. I told the cashier that I'm missing items. She gave me a blank stare and said I charged you for the cookies. I said yeah but there should be six in total. She said I'll give you cookies. This place has been my primary Wendy's for about 11 years now. Excellent service, calm environment and the place only gets massively crowded around lunch and dinner time. Other than that, it's super convenient. Yesterday afternoon I came around for lunch and discovered the new Honey Maple Chicken sandwich. I never heard of it until I got there and I'm glad I tried it out. Wendy's is usually top notch but they really outdone themselves with this one. Food aside this is the best Wendy's in Queens. The new driver had to inform me via the app that the food was taken. I then place a new order and the store conveniently isn't taking orders at the moment, I cancel the order and the people at Wendy's try to charge me $22. The employee that did or allowed this must be having serious issues and shouldn't work in this establishment if they are trying to scam $22 from a cancelled order, what am I paying $22 for? Uber Eats returned all of my money. Recently renovated. The Drive Thru lines keep getting bigger & bigger. The 4 x 4 was increased by $0.44. There are more choices. I ordered a Jr. Baconator Combo, this time they asked me what size?. They tend to trick customer asking Med or Large? So most people say Med thinking it's the smaller size. I caught them once in that scheme. A nice addition to Wendy's menus in the Summer is the Berry Cup, a nice healthy dessert. Service is ok. Ask for condiments, napkins. read more

I'm staying at the hotel next door to this location. I decided to walk over and grab dinner. When I walked in there were about 8-10 people in the lobby. Fairly busy. The counter area was congested so I went to the kiosk to order. The dinning area was being cleaned by an employee and it smelled fresh in there. After placing my order I had a seat and waited. They sounded busy in the back and I wondered if it was a good idea to place an order during what seemed to be rush hour. There were orders being called out steadily as I waiting. There was a line in drive and I noticed cars steadily working their way through. After about 5-7 minutes, not a terribly long wait for as busy as they seemed, they called my order and I grabbed it and headed back to the hotel. I ordered three Separate items no combo or anything. My burger I asked for no onion. And my nuggets I asked for ghost pepper ranch. Getting to my hotel and unwrapping my food, my burger was hot and the veggies on it were crisp and cold and lacking onions as I asked. There were 2 ghost pepper ranch sauces in there with napkins and the fries that I ordered hot and fresh. This place delivered great tonight. My order was right, hot and fresh. Not a bad wait for all the other orders that were placed. I noticed the grub hub drivers in there and I didn't see many of them leave before I got my food but they were moving orders through at a good pace. My review is only for the drive-thru. I was coming back from a JFk drop off was starving and as usual the Van Wyck had traffic. I remember from my younger days that there was a Wendy's around the area and with the help of Yelp I found my way here. I was shocked by how fast and accurate the service was. I ordered a burger, fries, nuggets and a drink and it didn't take them too long to make it. Which made me extremely happy since I was so hungry. She was us giving out unclear directions and threatening to slap the Uber Drivers for not being able to follow them! Extremely rude staff with nasty attitudes. I've ordered using the mobile app for in store pickup a number of times and it's always a terrible experience. They will not acknowledge you are waiting to pickup an order, and assume you will shout at them to tell them your name for pickup. They also put the orders directly into a thermal bag and will never announce that the order is ready. So how exactly does one get their order?? I've never seen anything like this before at any takeout restaurant with mobile order. And it happens here ALL THE TIME. This time was the last straw for me, as a member of the crew insulted me for waiting for someone to acknowledge that I wanted to pickup an order. Never ordering from this Wendy's again. The food is also mediocre and the dining room is unattractive. They also no longer have parking. I know deep in my soul that this fast food isn't the way lol but at this time a frosty, double stack , and possibly nuggets or a chili seemed like a decent idea... I was wrong. My heart goes out to anyone in the hospitality industry but especially fast food workers. Surely after plenty repeating that they do not have any coins and so on and such the cashier is not in a joyous place, but I do believe that each person should be treated accordingly and I have the utmost respect for all humanity. We all have our limits, I waited patiently after a long wait and contact with plenty of low lives and just scum to put it bluntly and I still was respectful but when my food was received it was clear that the staff had checked out after a long day but when I asked for a refund it just amplified the extremely BAD energy flow to receive 5$ back so to all I would honestly say do on to others as the relevant saying goes. ***DRIVE THROUGH ONLY*** Expect them to be busy after 12am. It can range from 5 minutes to 10 minutesto get through the line. Service was friendly though. The only improvements I could think of is if the food menu display were also posted a little earlier before driving forward to the mic ordering one. This Wendy's appearance was state of the art. Very unique layout in the inside. They have self serving machines (if you choose to use them) while you wait online. The food was very hot and fresh tasting. The staff is constantly cleaning the tables are the the customers finish dining.
