I sat in line 15 minutes just to be handed watered down soda and cold food! Dave would flip in his grave if he knew how today kids and adults were serving his food. Back in the day it was good hot food. Not any more. And always check your order before leaving because 9oit of 10 times something is missing! And you will have to wait forever again to get back to that window or be waiting inside forever in a line. Placed mobile order with curbside pickup to save time. Arrived and indicated by the app that I was there. Waited and waited, only received part of order when I called them, had to call again to get rest of order. I don't usually get a drink with orders but ordered a combo this time with drink. I was so upset about getting the order , halfway home remembered the drink which had not been brought out either. Just went on rather than go back for the drink. First off there kiosks don't work at all, we were in the middle of paying when the Kiosk locked saying we can only use it during 9am-9pm. It was 8pm exactly. We went to the other kiosk payed for our food and got an error we ended up having to cancel the order. On top of that it's insanely hot in there, I understand it's a kitchen and all but I was physically sweating all over my body. I use to get the Asiago chicken sandwich but stoped after I revived the good massively undercooked more then 3 times. Most of the times they weren't even busy. I honestly just can't believe how bad this location is. You will be lucky if your food order is even correct. Ive flat out gotten other people's orders before more then once. They use to be a place I would give 5 stars to but now it's another story. read more

This is a follow up to my previous review-see below. After I was served a raw hamburger at this Wendy's and the manager got an attitude when I asked for my money back, I contacted corporate first thing Monday morning including sending and e-mail with a photo of the raw hamburger. Three days later I was contacted by the district manager over that Wendy's, of course she apologized and said that Wendy's was going to under major changes in the next few weeks including a management change. She took my name and address and said she would have corporate "take care of me" for this problem. Ten days later I get a letter from Wendy's with 2 cards good for a single combo each. Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting a $100,000 or free food for a year or life or anything like that, but C'mon Wendy's really??? You served me a raw hamburger that put me on the porcelain throne for most of the next day and the best you can do is 2 single combo cards worth $12!??! Which means you "took care of me" with about $6 your cost. What a joke! There was a time not to long ago when a company would have bent over backwards to rectify a situation like this and take care of the customer. Now a days companies just don't give a damn about their customers or customer service. I highly doubt the manager at this Wendy's was even spoken with about what happened much less reprimanded. read more

I go to this Wendy's simply because I don't feel like driving all the way into Hickory just for Wendy's. But there is probably a 70-30 chance you'll leave and your food will be right. I always get the number 8, Asiago Ranch Chicken sandwich. Almost every time I get one from here, it has mayonnaise instead of the Ranch. Which is super annoying due to it's the main reason I get the sandwich. It's my favorite thing on the menu. I've tried to call several times when this happens and no one ever answers the phone. Also, super annoying. First time I went, I asked for spicy chicken, get home to a piece of chicken that is about the size of a tender not a sandwich, didn't have the ranch, didn't have the bacon or the type of cheese that comes on the Asiago sandwich. Tried to call them at least 6 times and no answer. read more

Wish I could leave zero star rating. Twice in two weeks they have given me the wrong order and/or asked me to pull up to wait. When I asked how long, one woman yelled out that it would be one minute. I said I'd wait then, because last I pulled up they brought me the wrong order and had over charged me, so I got the right order after 5 minutes and had to ask for a refund for the difference in what they charged me for and what I actually received. So this time I said I'd just wait at the window if it was just going to be a minute. The lady working the orders yelled to her Manager, -" He's not going to pull up cuz he's an asshole.". Well she was right and I asked to see the manager and he came to the window and we talked and we waited and they can go screw. read more

Wanted to try the new fries that are now guaranteed. The only problem is they don't guarantee to put what you ordered in the bag, so no fries. There were three or four people at the window, so it seems they should have been able to make sure the order was correct by counting the items. read more

This applies to all Wendy's. They used to be good, back before they jumped into bed with Arby's. I don't know what is in the burgers, but it cannot be all beef. The fries used to be worth a visit, but that is even down the crapper with the tator flavored salt-licks they now serve. I'm sorry Wendy, but you have been dumped. read more

For the most part, I enjoy Wendy's food. The one suggestion that I would make to them, is to ease up on the salt for their fries. The service wasn't that bad, I really didn't wait long at all. But while I was sitting, I noticed people entering Wendy's. Now once you received your order you were forced to walk around their gated waiting line. And as you walked around the gate, your led to walk directly past the entrance door. People were entering the restaurant while you walk to your table and the food was exposed under their noses, it left me with an uncomfortable feeling watching strangers run into you while your food is exposed to those nostrils. Don't get me wrong, it's fast food and not a "highfalutin" establishment, but that part left me feeling unnerved about fast food establishments and eating out all together. read more

We order two dave's doubles and paid 17.00. to get home to find out they were single hamburgers. I called 10 times and of course nobody answered so we got back in the car and drove all the way there to talk to the night shift mang. First of all when we were given our order the order taker was RUDE!!!!!!!!! Then when we done ate the food due to the drive back there and I'm a diabetic needing to eat. And after calling for an hour to call another store for them to answer on the first ring it made us even more mad that we drove back to Wendy's to have the Mang be rude and ask if i brought the food back are you serious!!!!!! I told her I did not pay 17 for a 10 dollar meal to were I could have ordered a pizza for cheaper. She flat out lied and said the cook made the right sandwiches and stated three different sandwiches. How is this when we only got two meals. You just lied. I told her I called 10 times plus drove all the way back here due to the wrong order and then an hour later your telling me there is nothing you can do with out the food. I worked fast food for years and this is not customer service. You can sit down and have a nice home cooked meal for this price and get your food right! This has caused us to BAN ALL WENDY'S!!!!! I asked her for the District mangs number her reply being bitchy was she will be here in the morning. I said what time she said in the morning! I said well that don't give me a time and then her shitty as attitude said she will be here all day! I highly doubt this. But I have a surprise for this crew that was there tonight you all are asking for 15,00 an hour. I would not pay .01 to employee those that we had to deal with tonight! Some reason I think to myself this time will be different, but no something will be wrong. This is by far the worse Wendy's I have ever been to. I like the food but the service is terrible . Took 25 mins to get my order and there was just one couple in front of me. The order was incorrect but I'm use to that because Wendy's seldom get the order correct for some reason. The wait was because there were 3 other people waiting to get their orders corrected. I cannot give this restaurant any stars. My 16 year old has strep and has been sick to her stomach. She said I want Wendy's. So after a long day I drove 15 miles to this one...unfortunately. after waiting at the drive thru speaker for five minutes, without asking me to hold on or wait, I got a call from someone in the hospital and I needed to let the lady on the phone know I would call her back so I told the guy on the drive thru to hold on a minute because I held for a minute. I admit I may have sounded off or rude but a lady came on the speaker saying I was rude and stating she was listening to my conversation. She proceeded to tell me to get off my F-ing phone and I said ok now u have caused me to be rude to someone in the hospital. She screamed through the speaker at me Fuck You my dad was in the hospital, which I never mentioned her father. So at that point I said wait wait stop just give me a number 10 and she screamed...again...get out of my F-ing drive through you bitch. I asked to speak to a manager at that point. She screamed I am the F-ing manager and I am not giving u my name and am calling the law. I called the law and corporate. I found out an hour later her name is Hope. She is a manager and I am contacting any social media outlet or news outlet. This was appalling and shocking. People like this lady should not be around the public...any work, social, or personal capacities. All the workers there were acting like she was the best thing they have ever had there. You can take what you will from that since it was mostly boys working with her. I would give this place negative 10 stars as a review if they allowed that. Thank you for your time.
