Terrible customer service, the ambiance is lackluster at best, but that's just Goldsboro, period. In regard to the food, I placed an order earlier this afternoon. I figured I'd eat off base today after a long day on the flight line & Wendy's happened to me my poor choice. All of my food was poorly prepared, the burgers were lukewarm and had all the condiments on them that I didn't order, my chili had two strands of hair in the bowl, ordered a 10-piece nuggets meal and received only 6. LITERALLY THE WORST WENDYS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! If I could put a negative star I literally would. We are right here located on base schools to get one our student some treats and our lunch, and the disrespect we went through to just get three big bags is ridiculous. The drive thru worker (light skin /Fat ) asked us "do you want the burger or not" it's not our fault that you are false advertising the items you are providing. My husband went through the takeout window and they left over half of our order out, couldn't make proper change and shortchanged my husband. Theses people need training. Today I stop by and ordered a jr cheeseburger 4for4. I've waited a very long time for my food and there wasn't anybody else in line. I use to work at Wendy's before I decided to kick butt and fight terrorist but I'll tell you one thing, the only thing good was the sweet and sour sauce. The nuggets were freezer burned, the fries were old (also didn't have any salt), and the burger was terrible! How the heck did you guys burned a bun? TERRIBLE customer service. Neither the cashier at the first window nor the food handler at the second window exchanged one word with me in the drive thru. No "hello", no "here you go", no "$6.50". NOTHING, SILENCE. I then decide to check my bag to make sure they got my order rt. I take out what should be a reg fry and there at legit 6 fries in the box. So I hold up the container and try to get his attention at the closed window with my fries and he brings me back a slightly more filled box but again--SILENCE. It was such a strange interaction. The last time I was in this particular Wendy's, the floor was so greasy I almost slipped and fell. When I mentioned this to the young man behind the counter, I didn't even get a response. He just turned around and pretended to be busy. Today, I walked in, and stood there for quite a while, and no one took my order, nor even acknowledged my presence. All someone had to say was, "I'll be right with you in a bit." Wendy's is okay, no better or worse than any other burger joint. I WILL NOT BE BACK FOR ANY REASON. Worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Waited a very long time in the drive through, only to get to the window and handed a suspiciously light bag. My fault I did not check it, but how do you forget to put the burger in the bag? That is the main course. So mad when I opened the bag and found out it was only chicken nuggets and french fries.
