Substandard Wendy burgers, fries & drinks. Drink machine broken. Young man at cash register was polite.

Pulled off the highway for a quick bite. No line inside or in drive thru. I Sat in drive-thru for 25 minutes waiting for tenders and fries. Did not get the straw for my drink. Fries were cold and hard. Tenders tasted stale, like the oil they were fried in was probably old. Wished I'd gone to Zaxby's instead read more

I was refused service / kicked out of the restaurant today (4/7/26) at approximately 9:45PM. I walked in and as soon as I reached the counter, the manager without even saying hello told me that the dinning room was closed. I said excuse me, he said again the dinning room was closed. I said the door is open you won't take my order and he said no, she just mopped the floor. I asked again, you aren't going to take my order and he said no, he is going to lock "his" doors now. This place is a joke. There are no signs posted for the dinning room time for open / close. I came in around the same time the week prior. floor was wet and they took my order no issue. But, if he wants to play that game, no one was wearing head coverings as they are preparing food, and no floor signs are up for the wet floor. I can report to OSHA that they are not following safety standards as well ad DHEC for health code violations for the wearing the proper gear when working with food. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. This place has the worst history for management. read more

July 3, 2025. Do. Not. Stop. Here. Worst Wendys in the world? No. Worst fast food place in the world? No. Worst place to eat in the world? Yes. Trust all of the reviews...dont eat here. Dont stop here. Dont use the bathroom here. Just dont. Got a grilled chicken wrap that was 99.9% lettuce. I think that they might be proud of how horribly theyre rated. They work hard to get low ratings here. Jusssst dont do it. So many other things were bad about the experience. Just dont do it to yourself..dont. read more

Worst restaurant ever! Workers are on their phone and the place is a mess. Avoid this place like the plague!

We stopped at this Wendy's for a late lunch while on the road from North Carolina to Georgia. This Wendy's is located just off I-95 exit 193 (SC 9 / SC 57 - Dillon, Little Rock, Bennettsville) in the small city of Dillon, South Carolina. There are a lot of fast food chain restaurants on this stretch of 57. Aside from Wendy's, we considered Cook Out, Popeyes, and Zaxby's. They're all right next to each other. There's also a Taco Bell and Starbucks across the street. My wife was craving a Wendy's Frosty so that's how we ended up here. Unfortunately, we had a sub-par experience at this Wendy's. First, the dining room and men's restroom were dirty. I don't know if, at the time of our visit, the restaurant was short-staffed or we just happened to show up at a bad time or what, but the dining room hadn't been tended to. There were lots of messy tables and food and trash on the ground. The men's restroom was out of soap and had no paper towels. I just didn't feel clean inside the restaurant. Going to the restroom with the intention to wash my hands had the opposite effect - my hands felt dirtier after going to the restroom. Second, the wait time for our food was unusually long. We ordered inside the restaurant, not at the drive-thru. There wasn't a line to order. We walked right up to the counter. It took 20 minutes to get our order. Why did it take so long? I'm not sure. Again, maybe they were understaffed. Third, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines were down. Drinks had to be served from the kitchen. On the bright side, this Wendy's wasn't all bad. Our server, Honesty, was nice. I thought our food was A-OK, consistent with other Wendy's restaurants I've been to. My wife got a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger ($2.49), Small Fries ($1.89), and a Small Chocolate Frosty ($1.69). I got the Son of Baconator combo ($8.39) which came with Small Fries and a Small Drink. I chose Diet Coke for my drink. The total after tax was $15.91. My wife thought the Frosty tasted off and I could see why. It didn't have the same appetizing taste and texture that I'm used to. This was my first time having a Son of Baconator burger and I enjoyed it. It came with two small (2.25 oz) beef patties, two slices of American cheese, and three strips of bacon. If you like fast food hamburgers with bacon, I think it's worth trying. I thought they did a good job toasting the buns. This is Wendy's store #5144. Final rating: Two out of five Yelp stars ("Could've been better"). read more

Would give them a zero if I could. It was 9:30 pm on a Saturday, we were passing through and the dining room was locked up. We tried going through the drive thru...BIG mistake! Over 30 minutes later to get food. Do NOT stop here. Go to one of the other places on this strip. This is NOT the option you want!!!Oh, BTW, it was a Mobil order to boot!!! read more

Wendy's - Hours as posted...NOT!!! - Burgers Near Me - Dillon, South Carolina

literally employees in the back talking about all the other places on the street for people to go to instead of wendy's! what an awful welcome, clapped as well when we chose to walk out read more

Hours listed are incorrect. Employees in store but no response at speaker or window. They just stare through the glass.

T They added tomatoes to my food which I had asked without. they also proceeded to give me Jr fries when i asked for large and paid extra and when i went back they told me they didn't have any. also did not give us our sauces. read more

just stopped to get a frosty sat in line 15 minutes after ordering to be told they don't have the kind I ordered at the window horrible slow service guy gonna ask me if strawberry is ok instead like is that what I asked for they also made the frosty before even asking me like I'm just gonna take it lol if you don't wanna work just say that read more

Slowest restaurant in the world. If you are just stopping at this exit for a quick snack and a leg stretch, go literally anywhere else. Ordered a hamburger and a chicken sandwich. Chicken sandwich took 20 minutes to show up on the tray, and when both sandwiches were on the tray, they were out of fries and had to drop more in the fryer. They brought the tray to our table (the only good thing they did); fries had two beard hairs in it and the hamburger had been sitting on the tray for so long that it might as well have been extra ice for my drink. Oh and the manager was yelling at their staff so loud that I couldn't hear myself think. Review over read more

Extremely friendly. It was fast food restaurant clean. Food was done in a timely manner and hot

Do yourself a favor and just don't stop here :') plenty of other options in the area that will give you the food you ordered in a fraction of the time. read more

To echo everyone else - slowest fast food place ever and took like 20 minutes to get food. Drive through had a line but the inside wasn't that busy. Also the women's bathroom had broken toilet and was messy. They got our order right but multiple other customers were missing things. Employee who worked the register was pleasant though. read more

The slowest Wendy's I've ever been to. Drive thru does payment and food delivery at one window when two are available, and the staff is completely rude. Swearing and not even saying thank you. No greetings just holding their hands out. Even by Wendy's standards, this place is awful. How has the Zaxby's next door not put them out of work ? read more

One word: ghetto. Today I had the misfortune of eating at this Wendy's where the service was slow, employees were rude, food was old or undercooked. The men's bathroom was dirty and the dining area clearly hadn't experienced any upkeep in ages. There were napkins and receipts on the floor. I also saw two families turn around and leave after standing in line for, like, 20 minutes. It used to be that they would ask you for your name while ordering to then call you. Now, instead of taking your name, they wait 30min to scream what you ordered to give the food to whoever walks up. I got curious and jumped on Yelp to see what others had to say. Unsurprisingly, this Wendy's has a 1.5 star rating. Wendy's powers that be, do humanity a favor and please close this down. Everybody else, drive an extra 20min North or South and eat somewhere else. read more

It was 930pm, so my expectations are already lowered. The chicken sandwich I got was not the worst I have ever had. However the French fries were BAD. They were cold and soggy, so they went right into the trash. I would go back to this Wendy's because if you look at all the food places around this area....ALL are bad. lol. read more

Wendy's - Best I could do. Not the worst grilled chicken sammich. - Burgers Near Me - Dillon, South Carolina

Stopped here for dinner while driving through the state. Fries were cold, chicken was so old it was mushy, they put half a slice of unmelted cheese on the food and the nuggets weren't even in a container....they just threw them in the bag. The fries had no salt. I'm surprised the drinks were cold. I'll never stop here again. read more

AVOID! Wouldn't even give it one star but this is the only way to review it. Waited 20 mins for a salad & 4 piece nuggets that we never got, & the employees even struggled to credit us back. Bathroom was also disgusting & in need of a cleaning while main dining area was dated & had tons of sticky dirty tables. The excuse we got: "we didn't realize we'd be this busy" on a Saturday at lunch time over a holiday weekend (Mother's Day). read more

Slow as crap. There are also zero parking lot lights. It is an unsafe parking lot. The employees were fussing at each other. The food was alright but not worth it. read more

We waited for 25 minutes for them just to ask us what we ordered, and we still didn't get the food we asked for. Food was good but it would be better if I got what I asked for. I would give them a zero if I could. Stopped to eat here and sign says only 10 customers at a time In restaurant. Looking in the window there were 3 customers. Stopped on my drive from FL to NJ and tried to avoid the drive thru line so I went in. Everyone was wearing masks with their noses hanging out. Why bother! If you don't think masks help to slow the spread of Covid, go ahead and eat here. But I hope management will get the message. read more

Super rude cashier, poor service, if you don't like your job find a new one! Won't stop here again.

The staff was arguing when we walked and had to wait about 10 minutes for them to stop for them to mumble that they couldn't take our order because of short staff; meanwhile we see 4 staff standing around doing nothing but argue. Then we used the disgusting bathroom with dirty tape on the toilet and toilet paper everywhere and the toilet paper dispenser was broken on the floor. The sink was yellow and no paper towels. After using the bathroom we walked out to a guy placing his order. read more

If I hadn't been the driver I'd have probably seen the reviews and avoided this place! It was a half hour or so before closing so I'm trying to give the restaurant a tiny bit of credit. Maybe it was a crazy day. I don't know their lives. Either way my husband had to use the restroom so we decided to dine in. That was the first mistake. The bathroom was clean enough (he reported) but ordering was painful. My husband's sandwich order came out with onions - which the person taking our order confirmed twice that it would be onion free. Both of our sandwiches looked slapped together by a blind toddler with rage issues. The bacon on my sandwich was obviously burnt and both of our french fry orders came out lukewarm. The ketchup dispenser was empty and it was impossible to find a clean table to sit at. Also they have those terrible soda machines that promise you can have any flavor soda you can imagine but that always spits out something tasting like a soda fruit salad with too much citrus. Next trip up/down the coast, if we're stopping for food off 95, we're stopping anywhere else! read more

people outside playing no one came to take my order and people in there eating people food there was a bug in my drink

Over a twenty minute wait for a simple 3 chicken wrap order. So so so bad. The staff spend more time joking and talking than working. The drive through is a must skip if you do not have A LOT of time to waste. read more

The absolute worst Wendy's I've ever been to. We decided on Wendy's for dinner as we were driving on I-95 since we figured it would be quick. 30 minutes later to just order and wait on food, quick it was not. Not only did it take forever (with only 3 people ordering ahead of us (we went inside)), there was no ice in the super fancy coke dispenser. NO ice... In a machine that should automatically make ice. I was pretty confused. Also, the counter where lids and napkins are was disgusting, but the flies probably would have rated it as a 5 star buffet. Food was standard Wendy's fare although the burger was barely warm. The fries were hot because they had been made fresh since they had ran out right before we ordered.. of course. Maybe we just hit the 7pm Saturday night rush? Either way, next time we'll just hit up the Wendy's at exit 181 or Lumberton. read more
