How is this even a thing It's not our responsibility as customers to make sure we have small bills and you don't have change in the store. I called the store spoke to the manager on duty Stacey to get more clarity. She stated they had switched shifts, I asked well could I have waited 5 more minutes and you could have broken the $100 bills? She said no because they still wouldn't have had it! I don't understand I looked for signs stating no large bills but didn't find one. Other fast food places have a sign no bills bigger than a $20, $50 or $100. The right thing to have been is to tell us they were switching shifts, not just simply we can't break it and take our food back. How unprofessional!!! Luckily my husband and I were able to make up the $30 for the order so we could enjoy our sonic but now it's like we don't even want to come back Get it together, get change in place or simply train your staff to let customers know shifts are changing and they wouldn't be able to break change at that time.
