Rude staff. I went in the drive thru tonight, and I was advised that the card machine was down, which is fine. It happens. However, when the lady asked if I wanted to pull up and wait I respectfully just told her I would leave instead. I don't really wanna wait 30 minutes for them to say they're sorry the machine still is not working. She rolled her eyes and yelled, "okay!" I'm sorry that you made my food and I'm leaving, but I do not have cash. That's not my fault? Is this how ALL of your staff treats customers? If so, I will not be back. This review is not a negative on Wendy's, only this particular Wendy's and primarily management. I have been buying and using the free Frosty keytags since the program started and was brought back as well as those Boo Books and any other promotion Wendy's has. The reason for that is I spend around $5000 per year eating at Wendy's. I eat at this particular Wendy's 3-4 times per week. Minimum. Either I go myself or have my wife pick me up something while she is out. Here is Wendy's Policy directly from their website. "A Key tag offer is good for one use per visit". Furthermore "With Purchase". Apparently the manager is unaware of her own corporate policies. because the policy is One use "PER VISIT". I go through on my way to another store and pick up a large Tea, and use my three Frosty Key Tags. On the way back, I go back through and purchase a large Frosty and use my three Key Tags. At that point I am informed I can only use the Key Tags once per day. I am not exactly sure what this manager doesn't get about Wendy's Policy of Key Tags may be used "ONCE PER VISIT". Not once per day. As I have been doing ever since the program came back in, IIRC, 2021. According to Wendy's Corporate "The way we see it, Wendy's Frosty Key Tag offer is good for one use PER VISIT, no matter how many you have". Their words. but they also add some restaurants may choose to offer more than one tag. Again, their words. The manager clearly doesn't know anything about her own company nor company or corporate policy. Even if you honor only one key tag, it is once PER VISIT, not once per day. More Wendy's Corpoate Policy that the Dayton, TN Manager is unaware of. not only can you use your Key Tags ONCE PER VISIT, but the Digital Key Tag is removed from your offers set for ONE HOUR. Meaning you could technically use your digital Key Tag twenty four times per day. But when I asked to see the manager about the change in policy, she could not provide it because she does not know the policy. Instead her answer was "I am not going to argue with you, I have been here seven years and that has always been the Policy". When I informed her I wasn't going to argue with her either, but that has not "Always been the Policy" she claimed it was. The other manager knew very well what the policy is. In fact that other manager stated to me some months ago, under the policy you can keep going around as long as you make a purchase. Which IS corporate policy. Unless it's digital, then it is once per hour because the digital tag is temporarily removed from the app. When you have a business where the manager does not even know basic corporate po0licy, I suggest avoiding that business, which is exactly what I intend to do along with any other of the other franchises that are owned by that company. As someone who has been a former G.M. and worked at the Corporate level for two of the worlds largest corporations, and being retired military, I can state matter of factly an employee, including a manager, would not have lasted long in any of those capacities without knowing well, Corporate Policies and Procedures. If someone does know know corporate policy, what else do they not know? When someone talks like this manager to a customer, while at the same time lacking knowledge of basic corporate policy on one of their major programs, it is time to begin avoiding that business. I wont stop eating at Wendy's, I will just stop eating at THAT Wendy's. I have contacted Corporate but never expect much out of corporate. The way I see it, is to simply take my dollars elsewhere and there are plenty of "elsewhere's". read more

DISCLAIMER: I have worked at this restaurant years ago but . . . You never have to worry about cleanliness or quality of food. This is one restaurant that I found to be one of the cleanest and most worried about service (that's system wide, as I worked at more than 8 locations). But focusing on the Dayton location, the drive-thru is continuously rude and almost snide in any interaction with customers. Repeatedly you will sit there while your cashier talks to other staff people and/or their cell phone. Wendy's does have great food (besides their fries, which is a personal opinion) and they are very quick. But the local restaurant has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

Always smells like a chicken coop in here! You walk in and it smells just the same as when you walk in a chicken coop! My family and I joke they keep their chickens live in the back! Be careful with the nuggets too. Tastes just like the Coopy smell. read more
