This place has to be a joke. I mean seriously, let me break it down. We pull into the drive thru at 2:10PM on Sunday (Today as I write this review). 3 cars in front of us, no other cars in the parking lot. So now we have set the scene. My wife looks at me and says it feels like we have been here a long time. I look at the time 30 mins sitting in line. 1 of the cars in front of us and 2 behind us leave. We contemplated leaving ourselves but I had already placed a mobile order. Finally 37 minutes waiting in line we finally get to place our order. 2 Number 6's (Spicy Chickn Fillet w/Cheese) We pull up to get our order, no hello, no sorry for the long wait, instead what we got was someone yelling saucey saucey over and over and over. Then they tell us the total $20, I felt this was a little high but fine $20 for to chicken sandwiches, fries, and a frosty. They hand us our food, no thank you, nothing. We open our food and yes $20 was way to much for the garbage we received. Disgusting horrible soggy chicken and disgusting soggy bread with a piece of cheese that look like it had been pan fried on to the chicken disgusting one bite and that was it threw it away the fries were cold and soggy not at all like normal french fries should be the frosty tasted extremely powdery and fake $20 was way too much to pay for this trash. Now for the punchline. We call up the store to inform them of this issue, and we receive the message "Sorry this store is currently not taking calls" I can see why the phone must be blowing off the hook with complaints. What's worse is we didn't think to look at the reviews on Yelp first. Food violations, 6 years of 1 star reviews for the same thing we experienced. I'm going to be flat out honest, this place is in a decent spot with a lot of traffic. They have really nice and funny employees, food is somewhat decent. My only flaw was the lack of parking spaces, working in past restaurants I realize a lot of the cars did belong to the employees. With no dining room to sit in, you are stuck eating your food on your dash or lap. Which is fine with us, but still doesn't change the fact how hard it is to park. The entrance is kinda hard to find with all the construction going on and the traffic literally flies through there. So watch your sides more than normal. Another good thing about this stop is that you are close to a rest stop. So if you really don't want to sit in their parking lot at least you are close to a restrooms. Horrible customer service. Our Family was in town visiting Disney the parks. After a long day, we chose Wendy's. We had a 15 passenger van and a larger order. We had our order written down ahead of time (as a Resturant AGM, I try to make things easy). We were met with a "cash only" response, so we proceeded with our order. The woman in charge was beyond rude! It was honestly appalling. It was the lady with the hair wrapped up. We asked her to repeat the order and she responded with an attitude. We were trying to make sure we didn't have any misses. We pulled over to wait for the food, notified immediately that a coke was missing, when we brought it to her attention, she rolled her eyes, and walked away. She returned with it but with an attitude again. We pulled over to review the order and they missed a meal. We had to get back in line to bring it to her attention, she asked us what order it was, we informed her that we never received a receipt. She tells us " I never charged y'all for it". Charged us again and was unable to provide a receipt for the first order. Everything about the cash transaction and lack of receipt, seemed very sketchy to me. She then tells us, she's ringing in the missed meal but will provide a "discount". Look into your store and the employees you have working for you. I was in the drive-thru behind an elderly couple in their 80's, i could hear what was going on They had gotten a small frosty and it was melting, they asked the clerk at the window for a bag to put it in so it didn't spill in their car. They refused to give them a bag and called the police on the couple. When the police arrived, the couple told them they just wanted a bag. The clerk said they cannot afford to give every customer extra bags, that they were not free. The officer that was there paid for the bag the couple wanted so they could leave. I would give negative stars, if possible. I ordered on the app, assuming it would notify me if they were out of something. I arrive, give them my name at the speaker then, when I got to the window, was told they were out of potatoes. I immediately clicked change order and got a pop up that the order was already processed, so it couldn't be changed. I told the cashier this and she said I had to change it online. As I was heading home from a great day at Disney, we wanted to stop for some easy fast food. We went to drive thru and waited about 5 minutes saying "Hello? Is anyone there?" With no answer. I had my friend go in and order inside. They proved their incompetence by preparing a "fast food meal" in almost 30 minutes. 20 of those minutes were just waiting to order. My first time back to this Wendy's in a year or so......and my last. They no longer offer senior discounts and the prices have gone up exponentially, so much that my total bill was double what it was last year and no drinks included. And the food. We had taco salads. Someone didn't chop the lettuce well and I had Stalks in mine. No iceberg lettuce at all, just the fields greens. The chili had very little meat, a few beans and mainly sauce. Cheese was non existent. No thank you from the employees, just handed the bags out the window. Fast food is in trouble if the employees believe that customers will continue to patronize locations whose food is substandard and whose service is poor. Enjoy your $15 per hour while you can because fast food restaurants like this one are in trouble. read more
