Served cold food, double stacks had one patty not even hot. Person taking the order had an attitude and didn't want to take the order. Cheese wasn't melted. The entire experience was horrible do better, as this is the worse Wendy's I've ever been too. read more

FOOD- stale bun, some fries were cold, some were hot within one order; drinks were mostly out, and the ones they did have tasted weird SERVICE- TERRIBLE! our order taker left in the middle of our order; people at the counter made eye contact with me multiple times before serving me. no one was friendly AMBIANCE- the WORKERS were screaming at their kids about how to act in a restaurant. which is funny because adults should also know how to act at their job. kids were running in the store! it felt like a daycare. read more

This location goes downhill when night shift starts. There is lack of customer service, lack on the quality of food and lack on the speed of service. Waiting in a long drive thru line for 45 minutes then to be greeted with a nasty attitude is unacceptable. This is fast food, yes but the service should be fast and attitude kept to a minimum. Everyone always has issues with the Darlington wendys! SHUT IT DOWN read more

This has to be the Slowest Wendy's I have ever been threw in my life . People getting tired and pulling out of line. They take an order then wait till the person pulls to the window give them there food then take another order , one at a time. Set there for 20 minutes and the lady said to pull in a parking spot if we wanted to order and she didn't know how long it would be!! What kind of business is this Wendy's ?? Sleep over ?? read more

We came here drive thru really quick. I saw the bad reviews but there was only one car in the drive thru but we figured it wouldn't be such a long wait. Well, we were wrong. The wait time was pretty long considering they didn't seem that busy. Overall, the food was ok. I wouldn't have a desire to come back unless I really had to. read more

If you want to go a restaurant drive-thru by yourself or children to only wait near 20 minutes for someone to take your order, and see several cars leave to either go to another competitor restaurant or have to get out of their car to go inside the restaurant to purchase your food to see no worker in drive-thru or a worker taking off their headset, then Wendy's in Darlington, SC is your spot. This is exactly what transpired today. Hungry customers either angry because they waiting in drive-thru or just take their chances to walk inside. At least you'll be greeted and your order is being placed inside than waiting nearly 20 minutes in drive-thru. This is a perfect example of losing customers. read more

So I came thru the drive thru today & I was very hungry the young lady that was working the drive thru seemed some type of slow or she must of just been very very high who's to tell she was a Caucasian young lady with a really long Blondish browning hair. Jayla or nadia was her name. After waiting and getting overwhelmed she finally called a manger over for help I was then over it so I was willing to pay the difference so I can hurry up and get my food witch was done at the next window already. Moral is she (the manger) seen I seemed unsatisfied or upset and admittedly she use her great hospitality and guest service skills to make sure I was satisfied. She even gave us a compliment. Thanks for the the senses of urgency that came from the kitchen today on this Friday morning may,29th and thanks to the manger for making my day my food was fresh shout out to the kitchen team again and you guys definitely turned my frown upside down. Keep up the good work read more

I went in to get two days number one to go for nine dollars and I was paying in quarters because that's what I had and they wouldn't except it I find this a little strange that they don't want money if it's in change always thought money was money read more

Don't stop here...They we're out of everything. Cup lids, most of the drink options in the machine were somehow empty. Service was extremely slow and they hardly had any customers. read more

Order taker had to ask multiple times for the order to be repeated, even though she repeated the order back correctly. Receipt reflected correct order. However, the French Fries on the UPGRADED combo meal were omitted from the order. When discovered upon reaching home, the phone number was busy on each attempt to call (for over a half hour). French Fries (small) that were also on the order and received were stale. Chili was hot and spicy chicken sandwich was good. Chicken nuggets were ok. read more

Worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Either understaffed or grossly mismanaged. Orders take way too long and then aren't correct.

If you want a hot fresh meal from friendly servers I suggest you go before 7pm. The entire staff seemed to be young and played around instead of moving cars through the drive thru. read more

We just waited at the order box until we finally moved around to the pick up window where we waited for another 5 minutes or so still without being asked for our order. Three cars moved up to the window behind us without being waited on. At the pick up window we then ordered a homestyle chicken sandwich meal and were told they were out of homestyle chicken. So much for fast food service. iCal it poor or no service at all. read more

Stopped in the dining room for a quick lunch @ 1:30 pm, but order service was slow. Two available registers but only 1 in use. Several orders were confused during preparation which added more time. Remember, one chooses a fast food restaurant because they have limited time to dine. Providing good quality food quickly along with friendly service should be the goal. read more

I had a really bad experience at this store. I joined the birthday club on the Wendy's website and when my birthday rolled around Wendy's sent me an email for a dollar off a combo and i proceeded to go to Wendy's and use it and the cashier said that the manager said they could not use internet coupons. I proceeded to tell her that it came straight from the website. She still told me that i could not use it. What's the purpose of having a birthday club for coupons that you can't use ? I will be calling corporate. read more
