On a recent drive up I-69 our tummies started talking so we decided to fix that issue with a visit…read moreto this Subway location. We'd eaten at this location five or six years ago when camping in the area, so figured it'd be a good time to try it again. This restaurant has seen an update since our last visit. The inside is brightly colored and has definitely improved since our last visit. It's brightly colored and the furniture looks new. I'm often the kind of person that finds what he likes at a restaurant and sticks with. For Subway, it's always been the B.M.T. In this case "always" equal literally over 30 years. I'd stray once in a while, but if I were to do the math, it'd be around 98% that my Subway order will be a B.M.T. On this particular visit, however, I spotted something on the menu called the "Spicy Nacho" sub. Well, you just hit me with a One- Two- punch because "spicy" and "nacho" are my middle names. (not really). The nice lady described it to me and she barely put a period at the end of her sentence when I committed to it and ordered it. And, since Jim is stepping outside of his comfort zone, I ordered 2 cookies instead of a bag of chips that I'd probably save for later anyway. It's almost as if this visit was Jim going out on a limb. (For those that may be wondering, that rhyme was not intentional but it worked, so I'm leaving it in.) Ok, it's not often that I'm WOW'd by something in fast food, but the Spicy Nacho sub did just that. Could it be because the only thing I have to compare it to, really, is the B.M.T.? Or could it be because it was just REALLY good? Either way, I loved it. I didn't expect the jalapeño and the sriracha sauce to work so well together, but they did. Will the Spicy Nacho sub replaced the B.M.T.? I'd have to try it a few times before I make that decision. Then again, as fast food is, it'll probably go away in a month or two. Fast food LOVES to take away things that Jim really likes. The store was VERY clean when we walked in. Table and trash were clean, the drink station was clean and fully stocked. The staff (both of the young ladies working) were fun and helpful. There's a nice patio out front for warm weather enjoyment.

We had an appointment in the afternoon and both of us got plenty tired from the wait and the long appointment so, once we got back in the car, my wife( the blond bombshell) asked me if we could just grab a sandwich on the way home! Big city! Oh I can say is they did a beautiful job with the Gyro and their sauce too! They had a interesting presentation and that was a great deal of sliced onions quite delicious and sliced fresh tomato bricks of feta cheese made is excited because, I am not a fan of feta cheese karma! But, my sweetheart is! It made sharing this easy for me is it works but we have to discuss about King Gyros is there a pita bread!!! The pita bread they serve us was absolutely off the hook! I'm so glad I ordered an extra one for myself :-) I could not believe that this bread was there for us in Anderson Indiana. I encourage anyone that loves Gyro or souvlaki to try the king Gyro platter. There's no salad, but all of the ingredients for a delicious Gyro are there for you and definitely extra sauce, Extra pita! Both of which are really super reasonable. We recommend you get over there and get yourself one or 5! King gyros also has an extensive menu from fish sandwiches both perch and catfish are available huge portions excellent amounts of everything the American hamburger cheeseburger combos are there they call Italian beef which is actually beef with peppers in a foot-long bun. Large chili cheese fries fried mushrooms which are super crispy and amazingly hot when you order them. Since we were in the drive-through, and it's not that big of a place to have a fancy menu out there I recommend you refer to their yelp photos and I 'll try to stop by one day to get a picture of thatAbsolutely huge menu!. In summary, excellent food excellent prices and our first attempt to order was five stars!
