I walked in with my son and we were waiting in line inside (we were first in line) and it took at least 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge our existence. The worker then proceeded to say that we can get our order at the drive through window cash register. I was confused for a second and the worker said, "you gonna come over here and order or stand there and look stupid". Terrible customer service. read more

Awful service. I worked in the service industry for 10+ years so I am generally understanding, however, the experience I had today with the employee at Wendys, 69340 LA-21 N Covington, LA 70433 was just unnecessarily rude. There was not a single car in line when I pulled up. After a few minutes of not being greeted, I said, "hello?" to the speaker. The employee who was on the other line rudely asked what I wanted, I responded a strawberry frosty and his response was, "Ma'am you said hello louder than that, speak up." Saw the long drive thru line so went inside to eat. Noticed they were a little short handed. She greeted me then took my order, let me scan my app for an offer, and thanked me. My food was fresh and only took maybe 5 minutes if that. I know others were less patient and rude but I feel if you treat people right, they will treat you right which is how my experience was a positive one. All I wanted was a post-quarantine cheeseburger so I ordered a double cheeseburger with no lettuce, onion, or tomatoes and a small coke with fries. I looked in the bag and there was no ketchup so I drove back around the drive through since the dining area wasn't open. "We're out of ketchup!" Is the response I got. I'll never eat here again. Waited in drive through line 10 minutes to place order (3rd in line.) Waited another 10 minutes to get to the window. Order total (4 pc. Chicken nuggets) was $2.49. I gave server a ten dollar bill and two quarters ($10.50) She quickly handed me $7.01 changed and walked away. I called out, "This isn't the right amount." You should have given me $8.01. She came back to the window. I expected her to either apologize for the error or to argue with we. I was totally taken aback when she replied, "I don't have any more ones in the drawer." I asked, "So you were just going to short me a dollar?" Her retort, " Well, I told you I don't have any dollars." I quickly replied, "Then give me four quarters!" She said she didn't have any change either. I came back with, "Then get me the manager!" It was a small miracle when she returned, slammed four quarters in my hand and told me that was all there was! Waiting over 30 min for my order cause they accidentally gave it to someone else and blamed me because they called my name several times? So how does one person say they gave it away and the other say that they been called my name but yet j was sitting in the dining room next to the pick up counter waiting for my order to be called. The food is always fresh and hot, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the drink machine is one of the multi-choice jobs (yay, sparkling water!), and the place is clean and comfortable. This Wendy's is always out of product. No salads, no baked potatoes, broken frosty machine and on and on. This is a regular problem not a one time mishap. Additionally they mix up orders and forget to put everything in the bag. Probably one of the wort Wendy's in existence. read more

Probably the best Wendy's I've ever had. I'm not a huge fan of their fries and nuggets but I got the four for four just because it was only an extra $.50 to do it that way. And to my surprise their nuggets and fries were extremely fresh and I didn't even use any condiments. Sandwich was also fresh but I always like their sandwich. If there could negative Stars this place would the upper echelon of deserving a negative rating. It pains me to see that people still go to this establishment. Apparently they are trying their hardest to make sure no one ever goes there. When my family first moved here we decided to try this place out and were actually surprised that everything came out perfect. That day must have been an anomaly or they were being surveyed which would have explained their great service then. This particular trip made so angry that I need to air out what is truly wrong with this location. 1) we placed our order online for mobile order pickup (you will still need to wait in line via the drive thru - so whats the point if you can't even go into the restaurant to your order) 2) it took me 30 min to get to the telecom just to say I placed a mobile order. 3) When the associate verified my order she stated to me that one of my items -baked potato- would take 40 min to make - the audacity to tell me it would take 40 min to make when you know they place it in the microwave. Regardless I didn't care at this point I had been sitting in line for 45 min for "fast food" 4) when I finally received everything and asked for sauces they told me that every sauce I wanted had been discontinued except for the ghost pepper ranch sauce. All in all this wonderful experience took an hour - fortunately I live 5 min away. I feel for the poor soul that would stomach that line and have to drive 10-15 miles away. Nobody in line at 9:45 so they were not busy AT ALL and the fries were so incredibly cold and burnt that the inside was nonexistent. (Included a picture) I understand that times are hard right now, but I worked fast food my entire life and I know that it wouldn't have taken 3 whole minutes to drop fresh fries. Went here yesterday and I encountered the following issues: 1.) line was backed up waited for 20 minutes; 2.) forgot the main part of my order, the sandwich I ordered; 3.) waited another 20 minutes in line for a cold sandwich while the rest of my food also got cold 4.) when I inquired about a dollar sixty five cookie I felt I deserved I got threatened that I would "get the brakes beat off me if I didn't move." 5.) pulled the ole "I am the manager when obviously she wasn't" 6.) the district manager eventually came to even try and remotely save the situation by forcing them to make the cookies after 20 minutes of them yelling and threatening; 7.) the cookies I received were smashed. All in all the store is filled with ignorant, rude, inexperienced, disrespectful employees that don't know what they are doing. District manager needs to replace entire staff or get ready to compensate a lot of people. The customer service was horrendous , food was cold, line was long. The talk of even 1 star is too good for this store. How a Wendy's could so epically destroy a somewhat simple request and then react the way they did is beyond me. Good luck you guys will need it. Not much to review when it comes to fast food other than appearance and customer service... both of which are great here. The service was friendly and on point. Awful experience. The drive thru line was surprisingly long and the wait to place my order took at least 20 minutes. I was ordering for my son and he only wanted chicken nuggets, fries and a chocolate frosty. Before placing the order I was advised that they were out of onions, tomato's, and french fries. I then placed the order: chicken nuggets and a chocolate frosty. I was then told that they were out of chocolate frosty's. I asked if they had any other options, and they mentioned a vanilla frosty (note that they didn't offer, I had to ask). We placed our order of nuggets and a vanilla frosty. When we finally got to the window, waited another three or four minutes, and were then given our food and I paid. I asked for a receipt but was told that they were out of paper for receipts. I was surprised to see five employees working at the window as the wait was so long and the lobby was not open. While driving away and aggravated by all of the previously mentioned issues, my son looked for a spoon for his frosty but there was only a fork. I guess that in addition to this Wendy's not having onions, tomato's, french fries, chocolate frosty's and paper receipts, they also didn't have spoons. What an absurd way to run a business. Just my suspicion, but maybe they aren't providing receipts so that I can't call the 800# to give feedback?? read more

So this place blows when it comes to service. Went there yesterday for lunch. I arrived in the line at the front counter at 12:20. I was expecting a line since this was the lunch hour and everyone and their grandmother was eating lunch at the same time. What I didn't expect was to be walking out at 12:35 with no food and without even placing my order. The slowest woman in the world was working the counter backed up by the slowest kitchen staff in the world. There was one person who had already order waiting on his food and four others in front of me waiting to place their order. That guy got his food and one order was taken the whole time I was there. Sorry, I gave up. I only have 30 minutes for lunch and had to split. Not having any more time left for lunch, I was forced to go back to work emptied handed. I am fortunate enough to work with fellow coworkers who have a more refined palate than I do. They let me forage through their scraps so I could at least have something in my stomach to hold me. As I was leaving, I noticed that the line for the drive thru filled the parking lot. Apparently, this place is home to the world's slowest drive thru as well. Sorry, but I won't be going back to this Wendy's location regardless of what time of the day it is. read more

I ordered a strawberry tea and they let me sit in line for about 15 minutes and when I finally pulled up the window to get my tea, they apologized and told me they had actually run out of tea. This is a service-so-bad-I-had-to-make-a-Yelp-account review. The fact that this place was filthy and empty when I walked in should've sent me right back out the door. The boy at the counter literally did not speak one word the entire time he was taking my order. He just shook his big ole head yes or no; so much so that I actually thought he was a mute and took pity on him. However, as he began to go about the tables, literally tossing around chairs to clean under them as I was eating nearby, his "manager" yelled at him for having earbuds in while working. To which he responded to her in some backwater dialect that I believe was supposed to be English. Either way, this showed me that he was after all not mute, but rather the world's worst fast food worker. He somehow found a way to disgrace himself even more than simply working at Wendy's. When I went to complain to the "manager" she just looked at me like a scared, confused little dog and did nothing to correct the situation. Which explains why this place is so bad in the first place. These workers don't even deserve minimum wage. Not that there was ever a reason to go to Wendy's in the first place, the monkeys that ran this store put the last nail in the coffin for this failing, worthless chain. read more

The food service was a little slow, but what really saddened me and turned me off is the lousy attitude of the counter workers. One guy took forever to make change - OK, maybe that is forgivable if he had to get more cash. BUT: no eye contact, no vocal contact either - I might as well have been a robot, and a deaf and blind one at that.
