This particular location is uniquely bad. They are clearly microwaving their burgers and sandwiches which means their bulk making them out of laziness. Came here on a late night run during the week when nothing else was open, and like any good fast food joint, Wendy's was there when we needed it most. Wendy's has always been my go to of the "Big 3", the spicy nuggets are favorite, love the baked potato as a side option, and I find they have the best "healthy" options to choose from by far, without sacrificing all the flavor at that. Decent size parking lot if you want to stop in, but also have a drive thru for your convenience, we opted for the drive thru. Service was quick and the guy behind the register was polite. $10 for 3 small fry's and 3 Jr frosties???? I'm pretty sure I was just robbed. I asked for 3 jr frosties and 3 small frys. Simple order I would think? This location charged me for 2 "boo books" for $1 each and $1.50 for a jr frosty. (I never actually got the "boo books btw) Meanwhile they have a huge sign out front that says $1 small frosties. When I asked the manager at the window to explain, he tried telling me "it's cheeper this way for you" I have no idea what kind of math they are doing over there but this does not add up at all. I try not to spread negativity, I'm on Yelp to cheer the wins and spread positivity in what so many great business are doing, but I just could not let this go quiet. End rant.... This place is consistently terrible. I ordered a salad the other day and it came with hair and clear plastic. Today the nuggets were undercooked smh. How do I have to go home an air fry nuggets smh. If i could rate this place zero i would, don't even bother going inside to order because they only take care of pickup orders or online orders first. I waited for 10 minutes before i was assisted and it wasn't anything special. Ended up leaving with nothing because i was displeased with the service. I get it's fast food so you can't expect much but damn. This was the slowest service ever. Hard small chicken breast is what I got, also my coke tasted so watered down. When was the last time the machine was serviced. I never believed Wendy's had good customer service in any location including this one. I very rarely have issues with my orders and everything is always pretty fresh, for the most part. Sometimes their burgers are a bit dry as if they were sitting out for a while. I've never had missing or incorrect items, hence the two stars. There's been times in the drive-thru where I was asked to "wait a FEW minutes." And other times where they asked how they could help and then no answer once I started my order and then was told to hold on and they came back and asked me to repeat my whole order AGAIN. Clearly, customer service is lacking. They don't greet you or anything, just tell you your total, take your money and then throw your food at you pretty much. This is the closest location to me and that's the only reason why I continue to come back out of convenience. read more

I made an online order .I went to the drive up to pick up the food. the man who working the drive up window had no mask and no gloves and simply handed me my bag of food! I was shocked! I threw the food in the garbage! Truthfully, I should've canceled the order and got my money back and not even touched the bag. I was just so shocked, I didn't realize what I was doing ,to actually take the bag into my car!!! The drive up window and your car window or not 6 feet apart, so already you're not socially distant, but at least you would expect some precautions are being taken. When I got home, I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. A woman got on and identified herself as a manager. When I asked why they would be serving food with no gloves and no masks and is that how it is inside when they're preparing the food? She said we do have masks, but they're optional! We don't require Our servers to wear them! Some do some don't! We leave it up to them! I couldn't believe she was saying that! Then she said " well Cuomo didn't say it was mandatory!" Cuomo? Is she crazy? You're preparing food and serving it to people in a global pandemic. How responsible is Wendy's? Don't go there? Ok, regional office .... are you paying attention ? This store now has a one star rating! It's hard to get that bad on Yelp, as it's a collective effort!! We always spend extraordinary time in drive through to get food, and order is consistently wrong. It's a bad job, when we'd drive past here, to go to Wendy's in next town, to bring food home. I've been meaning to do this write-up for awhile. This location (Copiague NY) must be the testing ground for the type of people that should not be hired anywhere. I'm sorry, I have to say it but the girl taking the drive up order had such a thick Spanish accent, her understanding of English was dubious at best. I had to repeat the order three times, not so much as the language barrier being the problem, but she literally kept cutting me off mid-sentence and then would ask "anything else?". I finally shouted as loud as I could (because they have those headsets on) -- "Would you please STOP TALKING AND INTERRUPTING AND LISTEN TO MY ORDER !!" I'm ordering two hamburgers (plain), no onion, no ketchup, two senior coffees black. Trust me I could not get the order out without her interrupting me over and over again. I finally said "STOP, GET SOMEONE ELSE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD" !! Then the manager came on and starts berating me for yelling into their headsets. The senior coffees, by the way, are free. I get to the window and they want to charge me for the coffee but that was corrected and I went on my way. I can't stand them..... but alas, stupid me, I went back another day..... see that writeup as well. On another trip to Wendy's ordered two senior coffees with 4 creamers and 4 sugars each - ON THE SIDE. Two plain hamburgers as well. They got the hamburgers right but they hand me the coffees and I ask where are the creamers and the sugars. They girl at the window looks at me like I'm insane and says (annoyed).... "they're in the coffee". Me: "In the coffee ??.... I specifically said twice and was acknowledged by your order taker that I ordered them on the side. Take these back, give me two senior coffees and 4 creamers, 4 sugars on the side for each...... and I wasn't going to pull off to the side while the 4-5 cars behind me piled up. Honestly the worst Wendy's ever. I work in the food service industry myself and I never knew it was so hard to be nice and get everything correct. I'm there at 11:40pm and I have to wait for something to cook (which is fine, i understand that) then once I get my order and check it I'm missing stuff. I honk my horn, they ignore me. I honk again, they ignore my. I lay on the horn and once employee sticks their head out and says "yes?!" Rudely. I get my burger and drive home to eat (mind you I live less than a min drive away) my burger is cold and dry, my fries taste like they've been sitting since Anne Boelyn was beheaded and my nuggets (the item I had to wait for so they could "cook") were obviously old. The Asian with the Mohawk who was a MANAGER was standing outside the door smoking a cigarette as I walked in. Not something I want to experience as a non-smoker right before I eat. I couldn't even complain to the manager because he WAS the manager. That incident right there is resonant in every other aspect of this place as well. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Living locally, I find myself here more often than I would like, and every time I say it has to be better. And it never is. Terrible. I asked at the drive through if I could have a minute to decide and was told "no" by the female on the microphone. This isn't the first time they have been rude. One night I stopped in at 11:00 pm and the whole staff looked stoned when I pulled up to the window and they could not stop laughing. I was told to pull into a spot until my food cooked. 20 minutes later still no one comes out. Then when the line calms down, they are hanging out the drive through window yelling at me to drive back around. How is this place still open. It has always been known as the one in the area not to visit cause it sucks but I keep trying hoping they straightened their act out. Besides all this the food looks like the swedish chef tossed it together. Had this been my high school years I would have tossed my full soda back in the window just cause she said "no" over the speaker. I have grown...sadly....cause they deserve a soda grenade. read more
