Things started off rough in the parking lot when a female manager came out to emphatically encourage 3 of her younger male coworkers to come inside and actually work instead of hanging out in the lot on an extended smoke break. We decided not to dine in, and chose to pick up some nuggets and a cheeseburger in the drive through. Drive-thru Guy was pleasant enough, and asked me to pull forward to wait on my food even though nobody was behind me. I hate doing that, but complied and pulled behind the car in front of me. After 5 minutes the car in front got their food and left, and I pulled up since another car arrived behind me. I waited another 6-8 minutes, then pulled around to park and go inside. I saw two women working on food, and the 3 younger guys from the parking lot standing around and staring at the order screens. Guy 1 came over to take my order, and I explained that I was waiting on a drive thru order but didn't want to block the lane any longer. He discussed my order with another guy, they stared at the screens some more, and then guy 1 came back over and asked if I was ready to place my order. I couldn't help myself, I just laughed. Drive-thru guy then brought me my food, and we left. The food was good, but approximately 25 minutes on a nugget combo and 1 cheeseburger is pure foolishness. read more

I stoped in here recently. I ordered Daves single. I overheard the checker earliet telling an elderly lady they are out of tomato. I wasnt too close to the order counter but it was clearly heard. Then I order and they dont say a thing to me. I get the order and check the Wendys website to see how they present the Daves single and there was tomato. Hmm I was suspecting such but there was lots of help 4 I could see and 2 customers. I was going to suggest someone just cross the street and get some at Ingles suer store. But since they didnt tell me I figured Id just post that here I also noticed the dont give receipts. The paper was all rolled up with a very large amount of receipts. Wonder if that was lazyness or so people would complain. I will post a photo from the Wendys website what the Daves sinle looks like per corporate, along with the sad truth. $5.39. When I pulled into the drive thru, it was backed up to three cars behind the speaker box. I noticed that the two cars in front of me eventually left the line instead of moving forward, so I wondered if I was going to be told the restaurant was closed. Instead, I was greeted with "it's gonna be a minute." I felt like they were telling everyone this and then making them wait in hopes they would give up and leave like the cars in front of me did, but I really wanted a Baconator, and I had time. My order eventually got taken after about 7 minutes of sitting at the speaker, and since I was the only car in line, I got right up to the window. Now, I have worked service jobs before. I have never been one to want to police what fast food employees wear, and I have rolled my eyes at people who do think that customers care about small things like tattoos or piecings. I have no problem with most things. But reader, the teenage boy (didn't look much older than 16) at the drive thru window was literally wearing a gold chain with a GIANT gold gun on it, around his neck. What a lovely thing to see as you're handing someone your debit card. How professional and welcoming! There were also plenty of workers behind the counter, and I saw no customers inside, so I have no idea what the long wait to get my order taken was for. This would've probably been a one or two star experience just based on the service, but wow, that was actually the best Baconator I've ever had. Hot, fresh, and plenty of bacon. Out of chili and frosty's at the same time, unbelievable. Believe it or not this was on a noon Saturday.

The order taking and service by DECLAN was excellent. Everything else about the visit was a huge disappointment. The condiment station had no catsup or salt. The restaurant was not busy but was not clean. Went for lunch determined to try the Dream cicle but it wasn't fully frozen. The double meat was over-cooked and dry. The APP didn't work properly so trying to pre-order cost me time and an extra $4.00! I'm suddenly remembering why we always give up and go to Burger King! read more

This is the most inefficient restaurant I have ever visited. No matter what day or what time you go they never have any baked potatoes. And you may go and they are closed either due to staffing or computer is down. read more

Had a great experience in the drive thru for lunch at 2:30p. Lots of fast food places were closed today due to a water main break, but Wendy's closed the dining room and kept pumping out hot delicious burgers in the drive thru! The landscape is on point. The lobby is clean and there is a TV in the seating area which I have not noticed in a fast food restaurant before. Some of the seats are torn to heck. The ordering process was organized and well executed. The restroom was in poor condition and needed attention, but the automated paper towel dispenser in the restroom was a fantastic feature. I have been in first class hospitals that didn't have automatic paper towel dispensers in the restrooms. An automatic paper towel dispenser in the rest area is a step in the right direction. It looks like they are intentionally making the attempt to provide quality service. It's hit or miss; however, a few tweeks here and there this could easily be a 4 to 4.5 star Wendy's. read more

I went through their drive-thru this afternoon and it was raining pretty hard. When my Mother and I came up to the speaker, the worker on the other line tersely stated I'm waiting on your order. I was taken aback and proceeded to order. When we got up to the window, she rudely handed me my drink when I was trying to give her our money. She didn't acknowledge us. Very rude worker. read more

Wendy's in Clayton is terrible. I get home with my food and the first bacon jr cheeseburger was hard as a rock. I open my second one to find mold on the bun. No wonder McDonalds has all the business. read more

There was only one person working counter and we waited in line almost 10 minutes to have our order taken, and finally left without ordering. There were two people waiting on their food for at least half the time we were there so we knew we'd be a while. read more

So friends and I ordered at the drive through. We were told to to pull up. Pulled up and I guess they forgot about us. We were there for about 25 mins. Car after car pulling off. Finally I went inside. She came out 1 min or 2 after. Apologies and that fine. Got in the car went through the order and it was wrong. Went back in. 5 mins later came out. My friend asked for no mayo. Instead she got extra mayo. She went back inside and finally 5 mins later we were on our way. 35mins at a wendys. Not sure how I feel about that as all of the other customers didn't seem to have issues. read more

Tonight was pretty much the worst fast food restaurant experience ever. Ordered dinner for a family of six. They got the order wrong. They gave us the burgers but made us wait 5 more minutes for the fries. I waited at the counter for several minutes without being acknowledged just to get the order corrected. They made no apology for the problems or the long wait. Quality is NOT the recipe of this particular Wendy's. read more

Visited this store at noon on a Sunday. They seemed to have plenty of employees but only one register open and being run by an either new or incompetent employee who had no idea what was on their many. The manager did nothing but make fries for the 20 minutes we waited on food. They were overwhelmed and under managed. Many others walked out. Wish I had too. read more

The problem with this Wendy's as many other Wendy's is there is no consistency and you can count on cold food at the drive through 99% of the time. How do they pass inspection with cold food? Sometimes the chicken isn't done and the wait time is unreal. read more
