Thieves work here including the manager. I have been going here for a while but over the past several months every time I order through the drive through and pay cash I round the corner still in the parking lot and scan my points code on the receipt and every time the points were already scanned. Either that or they say the machine is broken or they give me the ticket with the bottom torn off. I spoke to the manager who tried to say you need to scan the back (that is the survey code) then when I wouldn't let him get away with it he tried to say it's impossible to do and tried over and over again to deflect which makes me think he is also involved. Bunch of lying thieves with poor social skills. I've filled complaints with corporate. This location is also often dirty if you really look inside and really needs both the board of health to check it out and corporate needs to shut it down until they can get people who don't lie and steal working here. read more

Ordered at drive through. Two sausage biscuits and Cinnabon. Told only had one biscuit is a croissant ok. We said yes. Got home the croissant was a hamburger bun and cold. The Cinnabon was hard as a rock. Never again this place is a waste of time and money. Avoid at all cost. read more

Cold fries. First person behind the counter, but a few steps away, makes eye contact with me, but ignores me talking and eventually goes and faces another direction. Second person (the one who took my order) comes back and replaces them, with very hot and overly hard fries. Did they re-make them badly, or did they re-heat my bad fries badly? I ate them, but in hindsight should have just tossed them. Also, chicken nuggets, while not quite that bad, were not great. If not for the fries, I'd have had them replace the nuggets, but I wasn't in the mood to ask them to replace both things. In hindsight, I should have. Also, their table setup is weird, and it's almost like they don't want you to have any privacy. There were TWO tables occupied, and i couldn't find a table that wouldn't have me either staring at another table, or have the other table staring at me. Finally, how do they expect you to walk to the door? You have to either walk across the drive-through lane, or walk along a single-lane piece of the parking lot to get to a door. It's annoying enough as an adult; I'm glad I didn't have to shepherd a child. read more

Every time we order there is always something missing. then they argue with you when all they have to do is read the order placed. Instead of apologizing, they keep arguing and talk to one another im a language they think we don't understand. Makes we want to travel further just to avoid these unapologetic scammers. read more

there food definitely is alright, theres nothing i see wrong with the way they make things sometimes. i would however say they are in the slower side, the workers seem to get confused sometimes. Its seems as if everyone would rather go through the drive thru then inside. I have been inside once or twice, and it seems like a nice clean place aswell. the drive thru workers do need to get hearing aids, they forget things or ask you what your order is after you just ordered not even 2 minutes. read more

They closed the Wendy's in Denville a while back and in haven't been to another outlet since. I gave a friend a ride home from the care repair shop and he treated to dinner. I tried the spicy chicken combo and my friend had the Dave double. My chicken was good, a nice take on breaded chicken but it wasn't very spicy. My friend's burger looked like it was really over cooked but he didn't complain. His drink, lemonade, was so bad, he tossed it after a few sips. I had a fountain drink and it was fine. The table surface was sticky, I only noticed that AFTER my elbow stuck to it. Wendy's is my preferred fast food place and this one was acceptable but the Denville shop, gone but not forgotten, was very much better. read more

I ordered three large fries as part of my take out order at the drive up window. All three containers were barely half full. I tried calling to complain when I arrived home but the phone listed on Yelp is a fax line. I'm a tad pissed. Update: Some of the fries that did make it into the containers were under-fried. As for the burgers in my triple burger...they definitely were not fresh. This Wendy's needs an overhaul if my experience was indicative of the normal service level. So I decided this morning last minute to try the new breakfast baconator at Wendy's. I arrived at 10:29, I know, close to breakfast cutoff time, and as I pull up to the drive through a woman asks to hold on through the speaker. Meanwhile, another woman, or the same, since she had a headset on is outside turning the signs around. At 10:32 I am asked how I can be helped, so I order my sandwich. Then I am told that breakfast is no longer Seriously!!! This was a Big Daddy moment and really messed up people. I don't think it would have done any harm making a sandwich past the 10:30 mark. Today after taking my kids to the park decided it to stop by order the southwest avocado sandwich combo w/no cheese large combo, I pull up paid the lady over $11 & took my drink I have learn to check my order bc driving off notice I was missing my large fries & open the sandwich no avocado so I let her know she said Sorry we are busy, I said just let them put avocado I was understanding, but when I got home extremely disappointed that cook put so much avocado the bread was saggy I actually had to throw the sandwich to the garbage read more

Yes, Wendy's has yummy food. But their drive through workers? They need better hearing. I've came through the drive through twice in the past few weeks and ordered 2, 6-piece chicken nuggets and 2 small fries. But when I got to the window they gave me one LARGE fry both times i've been there. Not only did they mess up the size, but didn't even give me my second package of fries or my sauce that I ordered. All in all, the people taking your order really need to listen better and get new headsets. read more

It is so sad how downhill this Wendy's has gone. I know it's the staff now that used to make this Wendy's great 3-5 years ago. The new staff that's been here for a year or two just doesn't care about the place. My food from here without fail is always cold, or I'm constantly missing things in my order at the drive thru (now I always check) I've given this Wendy's so many chances hoping they'd turned around but every time it's terrible. For example the other day I was pulling up to the drive thru and outside throwing the trash in the dumpster then walking back in was one of the workers. By the time I pulled up to the window (less than two minutes later) he was INSIDE THE WINDOW handling the food and putting it into bags! How could he have had time to wash his hands by then?! Also I always know there's a 95% chance the fries are gonna be undercooked, pretty much every single times Please Wendy's bring your old staff back, or swap with the Hackettstown/Rockaway mall, or even get a new manager to keep things in order! This used to be my favorite Wendy's ever. The old manager and staff were awesome, very attentive and food was always hot, delicious and fresh never had a bad experience ever until the past year or so it has gone downhill. I go here for lunch since it's the closest, quickest food place near my work. You HAVE to order a customized item or your food will not be fresh, I always ask for no pickles or not tomato ect just so they have to make it new. The fries have been tasting like they were in the dirt, and old and undercooked. Used to be my favorite fries ever! So disappointed how this place has changed. Staff never seems happy, they always forget at least one thing in my bag and always seem to be goofing off behind the counter. Once again, they've gotten my drive-through order wrong. For me, it's the last straw. I've experienced discourteous service inside, several occasions of wrong orders at the drive up, and a general uncaring attitude amongst the counter staff. Employees sound miserable. Consistently forget items from my orders. Why ask if I want sauce with my fries if you forget the sauce?? Two years ago or so I received the most disgusting, pink, squishy chicken with my salad. Haven't ordered chicken from here since. My tip is just order REALLY SIMPLE!! Cashier was a total savage. Some people may think she was a little sassy, but I thought it was savage. However, when I ordered a kids meal, you had to craft the toy yourself. The directions were confusing and I couldn't even make the toy. Very disappointed, maybe consider this before going to Wendy's and expecting a good toy. read more

This place is neat and clean but I wish they would greet their customers with a smile. I stopped here to use their restroom which was super clean but again no soap. To be a customer I bought their small french fries for about 2$ and it's yummy. I wish they start offering more menu items for vegetarian. A review not so much about the food but about the service (I assume everyone doesn't need Yelp to know whether they like Wendy's or not). This is the best Wendy's in NW NJ in terms of service. You can tell the people work hard and drive thru orders are always processed in a timely manner. Every once in a blue moon you have to leave the drive thru to wait for the rest of the order but that hasn't happened in years. This Wendy's beats Ledgewood and Mt. Olive ITC easily in terms of service. read more

Filthiest fast food place I've ever been. The garbage was spilling through the flap and onto the floor, people had started leaving trash on top of the cans and on the floor. The tables and seats were disgusting, looked like they hadn't been wiped down in months. My food wasn't terrible except the fries were soggy and old , barely warm. The ok burger definitely did not make up for the horrible filthy state of the place. I'd be shocked if everyone who eats there doesn't get sick afterwards. read more

I used to think this was a good Wendy's... until my boyfriend got food poisoning from it the other day.. from a spicy chicken sandwich. He was throwing up for 9 hours. Now we are avoiding this Wendy's at all costs. I advise you to do the same. read more
