I suddenly noticed that I was very hungry, after driving the last ten hours. I hit the drivethrough of this Wendy's after ordering on the app. Spicy chicken sandwich, sub lettuce wrap for bun. Six piece spicy chicken nuggets. And the nuggets were $1.09 because they were ordered on the app. There was no one waiting at the speaker when I pulled up and there was no delay when I got to the window. I went to the Wendy's on Lantana and Congress Road at around 9:00 pm on 09/20/23. The food there was really good and fresh! The service was really good, and the ambiance was very nice! On a road trip and stopped here for lunch, I went in to go to the bathroom while my husband got in the drive thru line and 1 stall had a completely broken lock and the other stall was FULL of . I went back to the car and it took us several min to order because the guy working the window had no idea what he was doing. After repeating our order several times it was still wrong on the screen. The people working here will leave you sitting in their drive through line for 30min... They have no idea how to operate a drive through line. It's my fault for coming back to this location, this had happened to me in the past at this location...I have no idea how they hired the people working in Boynton Beach . They are AWFUL, TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES... There for is ALWAYS incorrect, that's really really bad and they leave you sitting in the driver through line backed up into the road... I'll start by saying I'm not a fast-food fan. This stop was pure convenience. As we were driving north on the turnpike hunger set in. We were getting off before the next rest stop so a quick, easy drive-thru was needed. Wendy's was there. As it was noon, the line was fairly long but I wasn't surprised. It was finally our turn and I asked about one of my "old" favorites. The voice in the box said they didn't have it but as I checked out the menu, there it was. I ordered the item and we drove forward. Very quickly we had our bag and were on our way. The sandwich was made close to as ordered (no mayo but gooped with dressing) but the chicken was exactly as I remembered and our mission was accomplished. As a daily stop, I never recommend fast food but in a pinch, this filled a need. Enjoy! read more

If I could give this location negative stars I would. The place was dirty upon entering, the tables and seats/booths had nasty crumbs and ice cream all smeared across them. Those tables that didn't have that, had napkins and peoples garbage left on the table. Who knows how long it was sitting there!? The floors were dirty, smelled like it had not been mopped in ages. The service was atrocious. The teenager at the cash register never said hello, just awkwardly stood there, no smile and did not say anything to us. As I was walking in the restaurant a man walked out complaining about how rude the staff is...first off when you walk up to the register there isn't anyone there to take any orders...2nd when someone finally came to take my order--they don't even greet you just look at you with a blank stare to take your order....after waiting for about 15 min for my order the lady had to ask me again what I ordered so I told her and then she proceeds to hand me the wrong order and told me that's what I ordered and turned her screen around...I'm like that's not what i ordered but at that point I wasted half my lunch break and just took the order because I was sooo annoyed...they need to get it together over there...and to think these people want $15/hr and they can't even say hello when you walk up read more

As we were heading North on the Florida Turnpike, my iPhone GPS had me exit onto Boynton Beach Blvd to avoid a traffic jam. We were both hungry and decided to whip into the Wendy's drive through for a meal on the fly. As we approached the the drive thru line it seemed rather lengthy and as we were strapped for time, I was concerned this could take a while. Wow... we're on the road and starving as it was almost 10pm. It was 9:50 and when we walked in expecting to be told "we are closed". But, Julia greeted us with a smile and asked us for our order. I ordered A double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink combo My Husband ordered a plain burger with fries and drink combo. The burgers came out quickly and we asked if we can wait for a fresh batch of fries and the response was affirmative. I got my drink and sat down to take a bite of my burger while we waited.... Wow! Burger was hot, juicy amd full of flavor. So yummy!!! Then the fries came out and... OMG! The fries were hot, crunchy and cooked to perfection. They tasted like fries and not like old oil from fried chicken and fish... these fries were the best I've had in many many years in any type of restaurant. I give one star because I have to... I want to give ZERO!! Worst Wendy's EVER!! This is now the third time we have gone to this location and all the employees are eating and drinking the food not caring about the customer's. Whoever owns this location really needs to go check in and see the ridiculous lack of customer service. I couldn't believe it! My husband had ordered all our food, luckily he checked the bag because they had forgotten 3 items (out of 7) one being a side salad which we paid for because we wanted both fries and salad and the guy just says they are out of them. Doesn't offer to refund or an alternative and walks away. My husband asks him again and he acts like we are being a pain and so my husband says ok how about a frosty instead? The guy takes his time goes and talks to another person and then gives him the frosty. There was no one else in line. These people do not want to be there and do not want to help clients. We will never go to this Wendy's again. It was insane! To top it off after all that they never gave us the kids milk. We are now owed 2 Caesar salads, cheeseburger and two 10 pc nuggets from all the items that they forget over the last year. I wish we had more options in this area. read more
