After consuming my food, I began noticing very unsanitary conditions. An employee working near the food line sneezing incessantly without even trying to cover it. Eventually what looked like a manager lead the still sneezing employee towards the back of the store away from food. But I didn't see anyone even attempting to sanitize the area he had just sneezed all over. Went to the bathroom just as another employee came out of the stall, leaving her drink on the back of the toilet seat, stopped to check her appearance in the mirror but didn't bother washing her hands before returning to work..... It was no surprise to me when I was driving home from work 8 hours later and was suddenly struck with the worst cramping, nausea, headache, ect. It was so bad I literally had to hug my steering wheel to drive home. I almost couldn't make it and was considering parking my car and asking someone to pick me up. I suffered through 3 days of food poisoning and lost 3 full days of work (with no pto) because of this place. I've reached out to corporate and the store itself multiple ways, and still haven't gotten a response or answer. Judging from other reviews I've read about this location and others, I probably won't ever hear back from them unless I file a complaint with the health department. Even then it's iffy. I haven't ate at a Wendy's since I was a kid besides frostys and chili when I was pregnant 12 years ago. And after this experience I never will again! EDITING TO ADD UPDATE:. A few days after making this review and leaving messages through multiple avenues, I received an email from the corporate office who then had the district manager call me. She was very kind, acknowledged the fact that I had a horrible experience, apologized and tried to give me free food which I respectfully declined as I still do not plan to eat there again. Although it took a lot of complaining and reaching out, when Wendy's finally got a hold of me they gave excellent customer service. After speaking with the district manager I also received a call from there claims department trying to help me resolve this problem. Unfortunately I was at work so I wasn't able to talk but the woman was very accommodating and sent an email with all her contact info so I can call her Tuesday. I raised the rating from 1 to 2 stars because of these factors. Stay tuned I may update again after Tuesday. I'm very happy with the district managers response to such a serious issue. She assured me that she would be reviewing all camera footage to identify the employees in question, had personally gone to the location to check their food safety (temperature) book and expiration dates, and will be following up with the staff there to ensure they're following proper food safety procedures read more

We went inside today to use the kiosk and order our breakfast meals. We came to this establishment for one reason and one reason only, for mello yello zero sugar... However their machine was out of most of the zero sugar options, luckily they did have Coke zero. A friend suggested their breakfasts because the breakfast potato wedges were good so we did try those, and because there was only one to two people working back there they did end up being fresh. These were good and nicely seasoned. The French toast sticks were crispy and warm, with a slight cinnamon flavor. We would recommend those again. I had the maple chicken croissant sandwich which was pretty good until I opened the package and realized that there was a hair. Because of this I will be rating it at 1 star. Beyond that, the restaurant seemed clean and had fairly good music playing. Service was fine, we went with the kiosk so it wasn't that big of a deal. read more

I went to Wendy's last Saturday morning around 10:20am. I ordered 2 sausage and mushroom breakfast sandwiches on croissants and 2 honey butter biscuits. I got my order and pulled over to check it. And I got 1 sandwich with bacon not sausage and 2 chicken on a biscuit thing. So I pull back around and tell them the whole order is screwed up. And the manager came over. I'm told we're changing over to lunch now. It wasn't even 10:45 yet. And I said the girl said there were a few eggs left. She said yeah I'll have to just refund your money. No compensation now or discount for later. Nothing, not even an apology. Sad some people's jobs are so hard. And management doesn't even care about customer service. read more

45 mins in drive thru for cold fries and cold sandwiches. I didn't even have it in me to walk back inside and asked for a correction. The only thing they got right was the cold drinks. I have never seen this place this slow. My guess is... they can't keep anyone working there. read more

People here can be rude especially if you tell them the order isnt right, which is stupid but as far as the meal goes det is Ok normally

Went for breakfast this morning 7/22/24 and ordered two sausage egg McMuffin and two potato steak fries and one of the sandwiches only had a sausage with no egg the other sandwich had egg with cheese no sausage fries was ok but hello wake up morning shift I'm sure the manager had to be there anyways I didn't have time to go back and went into the building to order how pathetic can your employees be pay all this money to not get order right come now wake up read more

Unfortunately, it has come to this. What used to be the best of the four or five fast food stops in this section of Auburn may have dropped to the worst. There are a number of issues with this particular store and many have been stated in other reviews. However, my last experience in here was a watershed moment that inspired this review. First, this is the slowest fast food place in the world. Hands down. It makes the McDonalds on Triphammer Rd in Ithaca seem like a Jimmy John's. You routinely have to wait 15-20 minutes after ordering to get your food and that's even going in. It always looks busy, but that's because they don't complete any orders. Second, the staff is...in a word...rough. The gentlemen working the front register--while trying hard and somewhat nice--was unkempt. I don't want this to turn personal, so I'll leave it at that. But this dude has either worked the window or the register the last two times in and is seemingly the face of the store. Third, they always get orders wrong. I saw a friend of mine my last visit come back in after getting her food home and finding her and her daughter were missing more than half of their order. They drove all the way back because of it. I like how Wendy's bags orders by meal order, but I'd rather they get all the items right than have what they give you packaged well. Lastly, my wife and daughters decided to eat in the last trip and, after all of the aforementioned frustrations occurred, there was no ketchup, a woman was listening to an audio book on full volume at a table behind us, two men that didn't have food (or seemingly a place to go) kept roaming about the store as if they were loitering and their was trash everywhere. Ten minutes to order (no cars in front of me, 9am on a Sunday), fiften minutes to receive order, two minutes to explain what was missing/wrong, five minutes to fix and bring missing items. So over - half hour to obtain 4 breaks at meal combos. Food actually quite good for "fast" food, just nowhere near fast. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. Sat in line for 15 minutes, asked multiple times for pub fries and then for equal or Splenda for my diabetic mother's unsweetened tea. Neither knew what we were talking about, then proceeded to hand us regular sugar packets. Didn't give us a receipt, didn't give me the pub fries after we were charged. We did the math to check to make sure they charged us for the fries. Yea was watered down and so was my Dr. Pepper. Never coming back here!! read more

First of all I order a son of bacanator. All I got was a frys and a drinks didn't look til I got home. Call and they said yeah your burger is here. I told them I live far away and didn't want to drive in. They took my name and said it would be honored. Just got back from Wendy's and I tried to get my burger. They said that it was never written down.. on top of that we prefer a salad with grilled chicken. It took 15 for the food. The 2 people behind us were so pissed they speed off. Poor service. This Wendy's has the best fast food staff in Auburn., hands down. Food quality is always great in my opinion Unfortunately, a recent remodel completely broke the restaurant. Wendy's is the Auburn hangout of the AARP crowd, but in their wisdom, whoever did the design replaced half the seating with Tony tall bar stools that nobody wants to use. Also, they got rid of the Line bar, which organized their usually large lunch crowd, and now the Line often snakes out the door. It's only been two or three months so since the remodel, but all of the remaining regulars are waiting for the next one. I guarantee, if they don't fix the new layout this great location will be out of business within two years. read more

I ordered a chili I didn't get, they took for ever for the salad, and it was a long wait for my food, They threw in a frosty for the wait, but they were just over whelmed for a place that serves fast food read more
