I usually stick to the drive-thru at this Wendy's on Moreland Avenue, but the long line convinced me to try ordering inside this time. I'm so glad I did because I had the pleasure of being helped by Donte at the register. He was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful! Since I don't eat fast food often, I wasn't sure what to order, but Donte took the time to suggest the best option without pushing me to overspend. That level of service is rare, and I truly appreciate it! Now, for the not-so-great part--the restaurant itself could use some attention. The floors were noticeably sticky, and there was a strange smell that wasn't exactly appetizing. It wasn't unbearable, but definitely not what you'd expect when walking into a place that serves food. Overall, Donte's excellent customer service made my visit worthwhile. I normally wouldn't leave a review for a fast food spot, but credit is due when someone goes above and beyond. Arrived at this Wendy's . Attempted to go into the dining area. Doors locked . Sign says Dining room opens from 9AM- 9 PM. I arrived at 8:45 PM. Now, I'm stuck waiting way too long in the drive thru. whenever i get a doordash order here i cancel it. no one has 30+ minutes to wait in line for someone else order... i can't imagine waiting in line to waste my own money on undercooked food that isnt even fresh.... dont get me started on the staf the other reviews say it all.... avoid like the plague... McDonald's, krystals, even cookout are faster and right next door. At least it looks clean? But that's only because they never open the inside.... Horrible place for doordash or Uber eats drivers they do not care about it. Could make the line go by so much faster if they did what literally every other fast food place does and have a separate area for online orders so they are not clogging the already clogged drive through. Employees are very nice and friendly. Orders are accurate. I've never done the drive-thru, but have dined in several times. It's always clean and I never have any issues. Food Is delivered very fast too! Recommended! They lose a star because of the ketchup in the dining room. It's cheap generic ketchup, not good quality Heinz. Was in the drive thur for 20 mins and when i got to the speaker to order . Male stated they are closed. You should cut the line off and take who was in the line prior. Not the customer 's fault you took 20 plus minutes to handle 2 cars. Which i feel they did that on purpose so no to handle whos in line. horrible customer service . I am a frequent guest of this location. For the last couple weeks I have been brining it to the manager's attention that the staff and managers are not wearing masks. This is a huge issue as we are in a pandemic. It is also a City of Atlanta and Dekalb county ordinance. This is not about poor service, it is about life and death. The managers keep promising to improve this but still, even as of this morning, no improvement. The franchise owner just happened to be there this morning and he was not wearing a mask either - he said it was in his pocket - ye, that helps. When I complained to him he just asked me "why do you care?" and he walked off. I asked for the franchise details and he refused and just told me to call wendy's customer service. What part of a health issue do they not see. Wendy's corporate confirms that masks are required but admitted that was not much they can do if the franchise owner will not comply. I have reported this to city of Atlanta and Dekalb County health department. This franchise owner is just a jerk and does not care about your health. read more

Great location. Right outside the craziness Atlanta traffic. After a long day visiting museums n what not we wanted something quick on our long way back home.. we were welcomed with a big smile n great attitude from the staff. One employee stood up the most, Ms Shanice.. going above and beyond to attend to my father's vegetarian needs. Seemed to be a little miscommunication on the order request to put the chicken on the side for the salad due to the busy hour of the day( very understandable). It's Lent and I'm a practicing Catholic. Well, I'm not very good at being Catholic, so that's why I have to practice. Oh, if my mother knew what a horrible Catholic I was, she'd light enough candles for me to signal planes. And yet, despite this admission, I still feel the need to recognize Lent. Catholic guilt, especially when coupled with the Il Duce "as long as the trains run on time" parenting style common among Asian families like mine, is something not so easily shed. Now it's Lent, a time for atonement, giving things up, eating meat on Fridays. So it was this past Friday and I found myself smack dab in the middle of a Wendy's Bacon Double Cheeseburger. My friend pointed out that I was being sacrilegious in not one, but (noting the generous portions of bacon and cheese upon my two all-beef patties) two religions. "What about the Hindus?" I reminded him. "Dude, you scored a blasphemous triple play!" he responded. Mmmmmmmm....sacre-licious burger. And yet I felt guilty. I pledged to not eat meat on Saturday, but my friend Heather (the good Catholic) tells me it doesn't work that way. "You mean I can't not eat meat on a couple of days and just save them up?" "No," she says, eyes rolling and Marys being hailed. "Are you giving up anything for Lent?" "Um, Lent. Yeah. I think I'm giving up Lent for Lent." Were I Captain Kirk speaking to some evil supercomputer, this sort of logical conundrum would create smoke and mayhem and the breaking of the Prime Directive, but the only response I get is an exasperated sigh and yet another person praying for my immortal soul. It's enough to drive John Paul mad, let alone George and Ringo. So four stars for enabling this fallen Catholic to fall just a bit further and get a small Frosty on the side for his trouble. After a stop at the post office around the corner, I couldn't resist the temptation to try the new "natural" fries at Wendy's. Though I doubt there's anything truly "natural" about the new fries, they are seriously addictive and may move to the top of my fast food guilty pleasures. The drive-thru at lunch was a well oiled machine, with both windows staffed. I think it took me longer to decide what I wanted than it did to pay and get my food combined, and somehow getting my fries from an employee bedecked with a Santa hat and a big smile assuaged my guilt (a bit). I appreciate that Wendy's offers smaller versions of their menu items, so that I can eat five chicken nuggets and a value sized fries for half the price and half the calories of a full combo. read more

When it comes to fast food places you don't expect much, but this particular Wendy's is amazing. At least during the day. If not for safety reasons, I wouldn't even have to stop rolling to get my food from the drive through. It's that fast. This is during the time when everyone is stopping in for lunch and most places would get bogged down. On top of that the women working the window are always pleasant and smiling during the fray. At night the wait is a little longer and there doesn't seem to be the same level of service or care as during the day, but it's still typically better than its competitors down the street. read more

Now I eat here at least twice a week for lunch because I love the variety of items on the new menu.
