This is my first time here. I was hungry and wanted something quick and cheap. This shopping center has grew so much, I'm sure there were other options, but this was the easiest to find. Although I have been to Wendy's many times in general, I had no idea what to order this visit. I made the mistake of going through the drive through and blurted out the first thing I saw, which was the 4 piece chicken nuggets kid's meal. As I was pulling up to the window, I saw the bottom corner of the menu with the value combo deals. I got to the window and asked if he can make it the $5 combo meal, which was basically a kids meal plus a burger. The employee at the window, simply said "of course!" and asked them to make the burger. Then the manager walked by and said, "don't worry! It should be out soon!" This was my night spot during my time living in Ashburn. Pull up in the drive thru and order your eats then park in the lot and scarf down your munchies. Always enjoyed items such as the Jr Bacon Cheesburger and Frosties. That of course was years ago when I was younger and prone to getting sloppy on some nights. Now I'm a morning guy so breakfast is more my thing. Got to try the sausage egg cheese sandwich and the honey butter chicken biscuit. Both are part of the 2 for $4 which is a sweet deal for breakfast and value. And both are delicious of course. Not sure why the negative reviews. I guess people take fast food service seriously. read more

Got my order quick and it was nice and hot enjoyed my meal. Watched another person spill their drink on the floor by accident and told the lady at the register who could of cared less by the way she didn't even acknowledge it. Ate my food in about 20 minutes and still had no one even come to clean it up, I get it if it was busy but it wasn't maybe like 2 cars in the drive through. *** Drive Thru Only Review *** I had a craving for some chili, probably due to the cold weather outside and decided to come satisfy that craving, because after all the chili never let me down. I actually walked inside to order because the drive thru line was hella long but the line inside was worse so I got back in my car and pulled up to the drive thru. The service was slow and it was peak lunch time but that may explain both lines inside and out. So needless to say patience was fully needed. Once I received my food, the chili was nice and hot but the fries were lack luster, barely salted and three steps below hot. They were not ice cold but they were not as hot as they could be. But you know how it goes, after waiting that long you have to weigh the pros and cons of either parking and going back inside or waiting thru the line again just to request hot fresh fries. Yea, not worth it today. At least the chili was still hot when I was ready to eat it. read more

Could you be any slower? I don't think so. I ordered from home and it took me a good 15-20 minutes to get to the store and they didn't even start my order. When I asked what took so long, the manager responded with an attitude "WE GOT A LOT OF ORDERS TO FILL. YOU DON'T SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE WE HAVE IN THE DRIVE THRU. I agree with what a few others have said, this place is hit or miss. The last order from them was great--hot and made the way I wanted. The order I received yesterday was AWFUL. I ordered a BIg Bacon Classic combo with no lettuce on the burger and extra cheese (which I paid extra for). It arrived with lettuce and no cheese at all, not even the cheese it's supposed to be made with. It was very small and flattened, not worth the $14 I paid for the combo. The fries were cold and tasted very old. Mello Yellow tasted very off, like detergent. I had also ordered 4 Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers for my kids. I ordered with no lettuce, they all have lettuce. One of them had someone's hair in it. It was just an awful waste of money and SUPER disgusting. We won't be ordering out for a good while. read more

Best Drive-Thru Experience Ever! The lady at the drive-thru that takes your money is always so nice. She is smiling and happy. She always finds something to complement like my tie or something. As with other reviews for this Wendy's, this place is a hit or miss. I have to say that the dining area is always clean. However, depending on when you get there (lunch, after lunch, before dinner rush, late evening) "it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get." I have had some good experiences if my order is small (order a combo meal, order a large frosty, or just 1 burger). But if you have more than one person in your order, be careful. Speak clearly and as long as you order off the menu with no special order (no onions on my 1/4 lb single, plain - no ketchup, or extra mustard) you should get your order fine. Unfortunately I had a bad experience this week and got my family's order but waited an extra 15 minutes for a 1/4 lb single burger (and I didn't ask for anything special on or off it) and I was 1 of 3 people on the restaurant at the beginning of the dinner hour. Every time I tried to eat here they got my order wrong. I could understand if it was one or twice with the same cashier, but it was every single time and I never got exactly what I ordered even once. Are the registers broken? I ask for extra lettuce, get charged $0.30, and it's just a standard amount of lettuce. When I don't order the extra lettuce, it doesn't come with lettuce. Awful. An irritant more than anything, but the drive through cashier does not give change back if it's less than a nickel. This has happened to me at least four times at this location (the most recent being today). When I asked her if she was going to give me my change, she looked at me and laughed and told me to drive to the next window. (I'm now infuriated.) I wonder if they would have a problem if I paid less than the amount due and told the cashier that would make us "even". read more

I love Wendy's, but this location does not have their stuff together at all. After late sports practice, it is easy to stop by and pick up a quick order. But even upon checking my order at the drive through, when I get home, something is always wrong/missed. It is so frustrating when you are in a hurry, you cannot depend on good and accurate service. On our most recent visit, we ordered 2 taco salads, and a kids meal cheeseburger. The taco salads did not have "taco chips"...WHAT?, and the chili was water and beans....NO MEAT at all....I kid you not. It was like eating a salad soup. Also, the cheeseburger had nothing on it, even though we asked for certain toppings. I called the management to let them know that their team may need additional training, and his solution was for me to drive back and he would remake my order. Although it was a nice offer, when you order from a fast-food restaurant, you expect it fast and accurate due to being in a hurry, not that you have the time to drive all the way back to have your order corrected, that should have been right in the first place. I took my mom to have a procedure done and the wait was super long. So I decided to check Yelp for the closest fast food restaurant. I didn't want to be to far just incase something happened. Wendy's popped up perfect the kids love Wendy's. We get there it doesn't look crowed inside or in the drive thru. I stood in line for 35 minutes and there was only 3 people in front of me. Than when I ordered our food it took them another 15 minutes to get my food. This is ridiculous I could of went through the drive thru. We wanted to eat inside but by the time I got the food I was like let's go we need to check on grandma. The cashier wasn't very friendly, he just seemed confused. The manager was helping him but it didn't speed up the process. Its lunch time why do they only have one cashier? And no one apologized for the wait! Drive through was a bit slow. My son of a Baconator was good, but my fries were a bit cold and had no salt. My frosty was great.

I had no problem with this wendy's but today that changed. Not only did I wait in line for 15 mins but they gave me a half empty soda and it wasn't coke. Gross! This Wendy's is always quick with the orders, and the gentleman who is usually taking the money at the drive thru is extremely friendly and polite, wishing you a good day. I have had to ask for hot fries a few times when we eat in, and they always oblige. Dine in and take out, they have got our order right pretty much every time. The one problem I have with this Wendy's is that there are NO changing tables for babies in either bathroom, so if you need to change your little one's diaper, you have to go out to the car, which is terrible particularly in the winter. I haven't been to this Wendy's in a few years. But unfortunately we had food from there last night because of their new chicken sandwich. Service is always good, which means quick. Food is always fresh. I always order inside and usually eat in the restaurant. The guy who took my order saved me a couple of bucks by fitting my order into one of their specials. He didn't have to do that. Lobby has always been clean except once. Very ample and spacious seating. The bathroom location is a bit odd as you have to walk through the dining area doors as if you were leaving and turn left. Staff was friendly and happy. The bald manager never fails every single i time come through I get two #2's. And ask for some chili seasoning.. he gives me two every time. I ask for a few more please and he hands me ONE... Called asking for them to make fresh cookies, they hung up on me..... called two more times. Someone finally picked up and said that they will make it and it'll be done in 5 minutes. I get there 15 minutes later, they didn't make it because apparently some kids have been prank calling them earlier that day. They told me it would take 20 minutes for them to be done.
