They're housed in the same area as big boy Meats and they offer tons of different carnivorous options. The guys in the sausage Foundry specifically are obviously porcine Masters and it shows with the sorts of offerings they have. Their beer brats are solid and use beer from a local Brewery. Every week they have between 2 and 4 new varieties of brats. Most recently smoked sriracha, bacon and blue cheese and mushroom and Swiss graced our plates. It's really need to see how much pride these guys take in their work and how they are looking for new varieties and ways to push the envelope a little with something as simple as a sausage. This place and a big boy Meats or both places that you should check out and plan to come back on a regular basis. Also, try the Scotch eggs - they're legit!

There was dried fruit, some fresh veggies, three different dips/sauces. And separately packaged were several types of crackers. It was gorgeous!!!!! The large diverse variety of the meats and cheeses just couldn't be beat. I'd have pictures (it deserved pictures) but the ravenous hoard barely waited for it to be unwrapped before they were diving in. I was one of the ravenous hoard ;) Just perfect, highly highly recommend.

The shipping is super speedy and the packaging is really wonderful. I have never had a package sent that was not super cold and everything was just as if I picked it straight out of the freezer or fridge (whichever is relevant). Sometimes there was even a little something extra in the box (Off hand I can remember a whole chicken on one occasion). When I was cooking and shooting photos for a cookbook Midamar was kind of a lifesaver when a halal deli (Top Deck Deli) in Santa Clara closed down and I really needed certain products to achieve my goals. I was able to get pepperoni, salami, turkey roll (it's ham made with turkey thighs but I get why they do not refer to it as ham), and beef bacon which were all needed for the various recipes. We have also tried summer sausage, snack sticks (think slim jims and a way to give in to a major pregnancy craving the halal way), turkey bacon, sausage links (one of the few items I do not like), turkey breast, cotto salami slices, whole chicken, and chicken nuggets (not especially wonderful but my children liked them well enough). The products are so good and convincing in comparison to the traditional pork varieties that even my non-Muslim family members who do eat pork were very impressed with it. In fact my mom is planning on buying the turkey roll (ham) from them she liked it so much. I also think that the anyone looking at the photos of the foods I made with these products would never suspect it was turkey or beef products. The meat shop we visit in San Jose usually carries the products we use on occasion but I much prefer to buy from Midamar directly. As long as they are in business and their quality remains the same or better then I will continue to buy from them and recommend them to others.

I had the pulled pork, and I thought it was very good and a generous portion, hubs had the brisket, which he said it was very good but a different consistency than what he is used to at a barbecue joint. I was definitely not a fan of the coleslaw as I found it a too salty for my taste so hubs had that one to himself. The baked beans were very good and I liked the addition of orange and yellow peppers. There are four different kinds of sauces to choose from, and they were tasty. $26 for the two meat to side plate, along with two iced teas. Friendly service.

You can find gift items and some other treats to take home and enjoy later. I love that the open space can be used for additional seating or more vendors to display and sell their items. I've taken classes here too- it's such a great space.
