They were giving false representation of the vehicle & what this vehicle would do even though they came back in less than 12 hours the manager went from the Caring individua/Scam Artist trait & turned into a complete salesman Crook. This is not how you treat customers who came to your establishment the very first time, but this tells me that this is something that's been ongoing! A well-known building contractor tried to intercede and helped the situation as he was thinking about buying three vehicles from here, but now it will never be! How to turn an engine into a ticking time bomb · Nissan's service manual for my vehicle says under "Precautions for Removal and Disassembly", "When removing components such as hoses, tubes, fuel lines, etc., be sure to cap, plug, or tape these openings." · Saw and photographed the vehicle half-way through repair with a sea of uncovered oil/air/coolant openings. And this is with a 6" pile of trash (dirt, pine needles, and ?) sitting on top of the engine block. Showed the pix to service manager Michael along with pix from a Nissan technical bulletin showing what the job SHOULD look like with proper coverings for the openings) and his first response was, "The mechanic says everything was covered" (despite the pictures??!!), followed by, "It was about to be reassembled, so things were uncovered". · Sure, they were going to reinstall parts with a literal 6" pile of dirt and trash sitting on top of the engine block (between two open/uncovered block oil connections, no less). And it defies common sense to remove more than a dozen coverings BEFORE the parts that attach to those openings are ready to be reinstalled. · Putting a piece of duct tape over the intake manifold openings into the block doesn't mean that "everything that should be covered was covered" as Wendle claimed. The job wasn't done according to Nissan's service specs (or common sense, in the case of the trash pile), it just means SOMETHING was covered (at some point). read more

Was greeted professionally by "Danny" (can't spell his name right). All I wanted was a simple oil change on my 2020 Murano. I called and called and left messages but no return call. I tried the on line chat with a promise of a call back. Nada. I called Dave Smith Nissan. They picked up the phone!!! I got an appointment next day!!! They CLEARLY understand personal and timely communication. I suggest going there instead. I stopped by Nissan Service unannounced and was greeted by Sean. The radio and Nav system was not working in our Murano and I had a very unhappy wife. Sean took the time to look at it and figured out that the SD card had gone bad... He ordered on under warranty and made an appointment to put it in and make sure it worked when it came in. When I went back in they put in the new card, took the time to check it with the computer and looked over the car in general... This may sound routine but this place is a cut above! This is the second time I have taken my car to Wendle for repair, and now I remember why I like Gus Johnson so much better. Wendle staff both times have been dismissive and not helpful. They were doing recall work and I asked them to address a warning message that was coming on. They didn't, and never mentioned it. When I picked my car up, the service guy just said there were only lube guys there when I asked about the light, and walked away. No offer to keep the car and try to fix it. They also let my car die (it's electric) even though I told them to plug it in if it was cold. Had to jump it then charge it for an hour before I took it home. read more

I'm a disabled Air Force vet (freddie walker) who recently purchased a 2021 Nissan Rogue in Feb mid-month approximately; everything was ok until I found out my Ipod wasn't fully compatible with CARPLAY feature which I experienced in rentals (2019 Equinox last one) and I mentioned this to staff as I was excited about first Nissan; they didn't bother to tell me CARPLAY is really for IPHONES on later year models! Imagine my shock! After several calls with the backstabbing salesman Tommy, this led to a rancorous shooting match with Scott, sales mgr, an older Caucasian male telling me, a proud black man to behave! During our shouting match (reported to prez of company , Kristin Goff, by "concerned" employees, who conveniently did not hear him shouting back at me!), Scott, also implied I was too dumb to operate the system that 3 of his techs still couldn't fix perfectly! No apologies from her or company by egregious treatment; he refused to take car back because he let his racist personal feelings get in the way! I'm pursuing action against them! I would not recommend any ethnic dark skinned person, and veteran of US armed forces buy fro m them! I got rid of "CHRISTINE" yesterday! So much for trying to help local businesses! I don't think I have time to write all the crap we went through with Wendle Ford. My husband and I brought our car there in May, to get a few things fixed and did not get it back until July. I understand that going through the warranty we have was a chore, but it took weeks and weeks for them to get ahold of someone, yet whenever I called I got put through immediately. The guy we dealt with was nice, and they lent us a vehicle so we wouldn't have to rent, but it still took over two months! And they didn't even fix two of the main issues we brought the car in for! During the last two weeks I called multiple times to see if I could come pick up the car and every time I was told that the service department needed more time to put everything back together, and that I shouldn't rush them. It took them over 20 hours to put everything back together. Now, only a month later my car is throwing oil everywhere, and when my husband started looking around he found not one, not two, but THREE things put together with ZIPTIES. And there is bolt missing from the engine mount. How did it take them over 20 hours to put together an engine so half assed?? I am incredibly frustrated that we went through all that to get a car barely put back together. We will not be using them again nor recommending them to anyone else. read more

This review is for the Nissan Service department. I took my Murano in to reflash my transmission valve body, I had just installed a new one. They said they couldn't do it, it didnt need to be done. I had to give Joe the service manager the technical service bulletin that stated it needed to be done and how to do it. I literally had to walk them through every step including telling them the main computer was behind my glove box. They told me they could not locate the pcu. They were finally able to flash it but it did not repair my transmission. I was aware that it wasnt a sure fix, an educated guess on my part. I gave them the go ahead to troubleshoot my issue. They told me that I needed a new transmission. I towed it home. Had an independent mechanic look at it, the problem was a loose connection in the wiring harness. Runs great now...I saved myself literally thousands by not trusting them as they proved to be incompetent in every step of the repair process. I took my Nissan Murano to them as I believed they would be Nissan experts. I was more of an expert just by spending a few hours on repair forums. Do yourself a favor and do not trust your vehicle to these guys!!! read more

How difficult is it to check a parking brake? How many weeks ahead do you have to make an appointment to have that looked at? How long do you think it takes to actually be honest with the customer and tell them when you are actually going to work on their car? Well at Wendle Ford in Spokane WA, these simple things seem to have been set aside for who knows what. I make an appointment three weeks ahead to have this problem addressed, I arrive thirty minutes before the time I'm asked to deliver the vehicle for service and am informed that a representative will be right over to talk about what the problem is with the parking brake. After an hour and a half I am still waiting for this mythical technician to talk to me. I walk over to the service counter and ask for the key to my car back, do any of the service assistants inquire as to why I want to depart? Nope, seems this is business as usual at Wendle Ford of Spokane WA. I bought this particular vehicle from Wendle Ford years ago, what do you think the possibility of my purchasing another vehicle there is? Do you think I'm going to be in a rush to go back to Wendle Ford to fix the parking brake? The Service Center at Wendle Ford should be renamed the DISSERVICE CENTER. read more
