So I said look. Guess what they found it. How can you miss putting a piece that big back on a car? AND you have this huge engine cover in your shop for two weeks that says NISSAN on it and you dont try and see who it belongs to? Never going there again!!!! The first time I came to P&S, I brought my 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport to get serviced for a full markup and told him to fix whatever the problem was so that the vehicle can pass inspection. I told him that I will be paying whatever needs to be fixed. Specifically Sam directed all questions to my dad and not me. I thought that was rude because the vehicle is in my name not my dad's. I asked Sam to address me for anything related to the vehicle. Sam continued to make calls to my dad about my car. I would call to get updates on when it was ready; Sam wouldn't speak to me. Instead, I found out he had spoken to my dad. This infuriated me because my dad knows nothing about the vehicle and I felt like my needs were ignored by Sam. He didn't acknowledge me since I was a female. I had to get the information from my dad who told me the car was ready to be picked up. Once I arrived to the shop, I addressed my concerns to Sam. He looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Sam told me he fixed the problem in an affordable way. I asked him why he didn't fully fix everything that I requested prior? His response, "to save you money". I said, I didn't need to save money, but to fix the problem. Again, Sam doesn't listen any requests. I expressed my frustrations to my dad who spoke with Sam. After this, Sam apologized to me saying he didn't know. Nah you knew, just treat females like they matter. It's quite simple. The last time I came here for an oil change on my other vehicle, the Toyota. Sam was seemingly nicer and addressed me accordingly. Last week, I called P&S to schedule an appointment to get my Montero oil leak fixed. Sam answered the line and told me to call back next week. I said okay. Next week shows up, I call P&S to schedule for the oil leak on Montero. Sam told me again to call back next week. I said, Sam you told me that last week when I called. I said, it sounds like you're giving me the runaround. I said, if that's the case I'll find another local mechanic. Sam said that something was up with the computer system. I said, okay. He has some other guys who i think are renting space from him, doing other car work. I was very unhappy when I had my car towed there for the starter to get fixed. They replaced it, but then when I went to pick it up it wouldn't start. they looked at me like I was dumb. Sure enough, something else was wrong. it took them 2 hours to diagnose a bad relay, and yes, they charged me for the labor. not happy. i'll only be coming here for a/c work, not for other car things. Mike is a one-man show at Clear Lake Auto Air. He rents space in the transmission shop, his office is in the back. Just ask any of the mechanics for Mike the A/C guy and they'll point you in the right direction. Mike is a good, ol' fashioned, honest mechanic. ALL he does is car heating and cooling. He will recharge your freon for less than 40 bucks, and won't put you through all of the hassle of the leak check and bla bla bla. Within 6 months of moving to Houston, the A/C had gone out on both of my cars. My poor northern babies couldn't handle the southern heat. Mike replaced both of my systems and gave me honest quotes and great insight into how to keep my A/C from crashing again. Every once in a while I stop by when something is on the fritz with my a/c...most recently, a leaf in my blower, and he will help me out...for FREE! this guy is awesome. highly recommended.

We pulled my truck in the garage put the gauges on it and tried to put Freon in it. After 30 min of troubleshooting Mike told me his observations and he came to the conclusion that it was something he want to tackle, but sent me somewhere that might be able to help. Mike it didn't fix my problem and he didn't charge me a dime either. Most importantly he gave me his honest advice told me what to look for and what he would recommend having replaced. Mike currently owns the transmission shop. He says he has a great transmission builder and the shop is nice and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my or anyone else's vehicle there for work. HONESTY!
