Serena captured the day beautifully, taking stunning photos in the morning and transitioning seamlessly into videography for the rest of the event. Her professionalism, creativity, and eye for detail were evident in every shot. The final images were absolutely spectacular, and the video footage was equally impressive. She even went the extra mile by creating a social media reel for us, which turned out beautifully and captured the spirit of the day perfectly. Serena is truly wonderful to work with--easygoing, communicative, and incredibly talented. I highly recommend Creative Ideation to anyone looking for top-tier photography and video work.

WOW! I was really surprised to read all the negative reviews…read moreabout this place. I'm glad I didn't see them before otherwise I most likely would have passed on using Mr. Video. I actually had a great experience. I found them online and requested an estimate. Someone from the sales dept replied immediately. I decided to use them and when I arrived to pick up my equipment I saw the screen I reserved was much larger than I had imagined. The receptionist and the AV person switched it out for me without complaint. I arrived to return the equipment an hour before they opened not realizing they didn't open until 10am. I was sick with the flu and trying to hurry to a doctors appointment as soon as possible. I called and spoke with someone who said the AV person was on his way and she would let him know to come early if he could. 20 minutes later I had turned everything in and was on my way to the doctor. I would absolutely recommend this vendor. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable with amazing customer service. Kudos!

I am a volunteer for a local non-profit organization that provides services for the elderly. This…read moreorganization rented a pair of stereo speakers with built in amplifiers (Mackie Speakers 15". SRM 450) from Mr. Video on July 3rd 2010 for use on our float in the annual Palisades 4th July parade. After around one hour of use in the parade one of the speakers emitted smoke, caught fire and then stopped working. According to the user manual the speakers have a thermal protection circuit that is supposed to cut the power to the amp and speaker if it overheats. This circuit malfunctioned causing the built in amp to burn up. We continued with the remaining speaker but the effectiveness of the float was compromised. Worse still, upon return of the equipment Mr Video charged $600.00 for a new replacement speaker. This is akin to a customer experiencing a roadside breakdown on a rental car and then being billed for the repair! The speakers were brand new and subject to a 5 year warranty in case of failure so it would appear that Mr. Video may have been attempting to have the unit repaired under warranty and in addition be paid for a brand new unit. After several months of fruitless correspondence with Mr Video the credit card company agreed that an injustice had occurred and charged back the $600.00. Also the units were powered from a car battery then through a DC to AC inverter. This inverter emitted a very loud buzzing interference throughout the operation of the speakers. A replacement inverter was provided but the problem repeated. Needless to say we won't be using this unscrupulous outfit ever again.

He has a very simple and efficient set up with lights and sound systems. What was really impressive for us were the music videos that he played that went with the music. Once we saw that and saw/heard his transitions we knew he was the DJ we wanted. We had an unusual theme for our wedding, we did a costume theme "Talk Nerdy to Me" and Paul was not only happy to work with us, but he also had some awesome ideas on how to truly make it our own. With the video screen package, he was able to do movie/you tube clips and a slide show. When it came to getting strange and unusual music, Paul was able to do it with no issues. We asked for quite a few songs that were not in his database including traditional Chinese and Estonian Country music and he was able to get it with no issues. His online planning system made it really easy for us to put our Ceremony and Reception plan together. All of my guests LOVED the music choices. Part of it was our doing in putting together a song list, and part of it was Paul reading the party and playing accordingly. He even accommodated my niece's request for the Hokie Pokie. Don't take my word for it, Weddings are not the gigs he does in the DC area. Watch him in action and see for yourself. I feel that if other businesses book him on a regular basis, he is probably a good choice for your wedding. I am really glad I acted on this assumption, and had a chance to work with Paul. He has my highest recommendations.

At the last minute, he wasn't going to be able to get his equipment out to us in time so I found Paul and reached out to him. Paul told me he was available and met with us in person. He was reasonably priced and we couldn't have lucked out better for a last minute booking. Even though our friend couldn't DJ, Paul let him do all of the introductions which was really sweet. He even let our friend take the reigns and do a couple songs! Paul never felt like our friend was stepping on his toes and we really appreciated that he let us do that. Paul kept the party going from the beginning. I've had so many people since the end of our wedding telling me how great our DJ was. We had a weird mix of twenty somethings and sixty somethings with not much in between. Even still, Paul was able to judge the crowd and keep people dancing. I don't think there was a second all night long that people weren't all over the dance floor! His online portal is very straight forward and easy to use. I was able to put in many details and everything we wanted to hear was played at our wedding. Paul is also not one of those DJs that keeps interrupting songs to talk. He knew when it was appropriate to interject and when it wasn't. My husband commented that this was one of his favorite things about Paul: his professionalism on and off the dance floor. Definitely consider Paul Surreal Entertainment for your next event - you won't regret it!

From…read morestart to finish, Iman and his team did absolutely everything they could do to make the wedding planning process seamless and our wedding day exactly how we imagined. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We also want to give a special thanks to Wake on the sax, Farzan on the drums, and Cyrus on the cello. These three gentleman made the music come alive and our guests could not stop raving about how talented they were. As a creative content administrator for a brand marketing consultant agency, I have worked with my fair share of videographers, photographers, directors. To be clear, the videos were amazing and unique in their own way, but I always felt it was ALMOST there or it was MISSING something. Then I was introduced to Shawn - via conference call - and my love affair with Innovideo Productions began. The best word I can use to describe the quality and execution of Shawn's work ethic and style... PHENOMENAL. Behind the camera, he is nothing but innovative. His organic sense of creative direction is incredible and his attention to detail is immaculate! The visions that I had dreamed and created while creating the content were immediately erased from my mind after reviewing a "rough cut/edit" of Shawn's work and I didn't think it could get any better...but it did. I can't imagine working with anyone else. Helpful, reliable, communicative and patient, Shawn is one of the most skilled people I've ever worked with. Reasonably priced and quick on the turn around times, Shawn's personable professionalism is what makes him and his brand unique.
