My husband and I were nervous about doing a couples shoot, since neither of us had done professional photos since our wedding. Adam put us completely at ease and made us laugh the entire time. It was like hanging out with a friend more than awkwardly posing for photos. Before the shoot, Adam kept in constant contact with us, asking us what style of photos we liked and where we wanted to take our pictures. He was completely amenable to coming to a location close to us (since we live in Washington, DC), and even drove us to another location that he thought would be perfect for us! After the shoot, his turnaround time was immediate! We got to see proofs within the next couple days, and had access to our online album within a week. And this was around Thanksgiving!! The photos were absolutely beautiful! He was able to capture the natural chemistry between my husband and me, which made for amazing shots. Adam really goes the extra mile for his customers, and that is really what makes a wonderful photographer. Shooting good photos takes a skill, that is for sure, but you can't shoot a good photo without having something to shoot! Adam makes sure that his customers (most, I'm sure are not professional models) are completely at ease, producing natural and beautiful shots. I absolutely recommend him for anyone looking for a family photographer, and definitely plan on using him again in the future.

Some reasons we love Julie: -The pictures turn out great (the ultimate goal after all) -They were convenient to get done (she can come to your home - so important when you have a newborn and aren't sleeping) -Julie provides great directions on posed shots (though she also took plenty of natural shots too) -She provides photos faster than the industry standard - for us, she sent the preview photos the day after the shoot and the final photos less than a month after a shoot (key when you have a baby that's growing so fast) For our maternity photos, Julie took the photos a 5 minute walk from our townhome, so the location was very convenient. But the photos are angled to largely not include buildings so it looks like a beautiful woodsy area. She also took the photos at the end of the day so the lighting is perfect. For our newborn photos, you can either go to Julie's home near Vienna metro for photos, or she can bring the studio to you. She also asked for my input ahead of the shoot on which color themes I'd like for the newborn photos, which I really appreciated since we were able to think about outfits for ourselves that worked with those colors. The newborn session includes a complimentary family mini session, which resulted in the best picture that has ever been taken of our family (imagine coordinating smiles on multiple people including a toddler). Actually, we are planning to order a big canvas print of our family photo because we're so in love with it! We almost didn't get maternity and newborn photos done but now that we've seen how great they turned out, we can't imagine not having them.

We had an outdoor portrait session this fall in Washington D.C. I met with both Sharon Macorol (Bobbi Brown makeup artist) who did my makeup for that day, and Havar and was filled with both excitement and nerves. The duo were able to ease my nerves and were very welcoming and friendly. Sharon did a great job with my makeup and choose very flattering colors. I even ended up purchasing the lipstick she chose on me. Havar was able to direct me on how to pose, but also gave me the freedom to pose however I wanted to as well. He made the shoot very fun and comfortable even despite my initial awkwardness and lack of modeling ability. He was also very patient and did not rush the shoot, which I very much appreciated. This really showed me that he aims for, and values client satisfaction. What I was amazed by most was how quick Havar was in sending me the thumbnails of the shots. I believe he was able to send me all two hundred something of the thumbnails by the end of that night so that I could choose my top 10. After I chose my top 10, he had them edited and sent to my email the next day. I would definitely recommend Princeps Studio Photography to all of my friends for any type of photography that needs to be done. I couldn't have been more happy and impressed with how the photos turned out!

A friend recommend giving Chris at Flashfire a call and we were very pleased with this decision. He came to our location with a dizzying array of high end equipment, set up shop and made the process seamless. So I was planning our companies 50th Year Anniversary in 2017 and was looking around for a good photo booth company. I stumbled upon Top Hat and decided to take a shot. I actually also found them on Groupon and purchased one of their packages. The entire time I was in communication with Mohammed, he was professional and VERY patient. We wanted our photo cards to be customized. He afford an amazing option but it was a bit high (mind you we already spent a lot on the venue and catering so this was one way to cut on the budget). ANYWAYS, I sent him a sample of what we wanted and he did a fantastic job. When Mohammed and his work partner showed up, they were dressed very professional, were very friendly, and nice. Their presentation and table top with props looked very nice and clean. The whole time they were engaging with our company employees and making it fun for them. If my memory serves me right, I think they even offered to help with directing our employees to the photo booth or sign in area...talk about customer service. But I did not want to burden them with that so I just kept going. For two young gentlemen running this small business, they are doing an amazing job. Keep it up guys cant wait to use you again and let all my friends know!! :)
