Email reply to Mantas from my wife expressing how much she enjoyed the final product and overall experience: Oh, wow these are wonderful! Thank you so much, Mantas, you really do make magic happen : ))) Thank you for the great time and interesting conversation, too. Overall, this was such a great experience and hopefully one day we will work together again on some beautiful occasions. I am scheduled to graduate in May, 2024 so I probably will be contacting you if you'd like to commemorate the moment again. Once again, I love the pictures. read more

I recently had the chance to work with Mantas for an April wedding in Washington DC and Mantas was an absolute delight. He is gracious, kind and works to ensure that he can capture every moment that is special for the couple. As a planner, it was wonderful working with someone who was a real team player and fun to be around. Mantas was collaborative, communicative and always up for any task or change in schedule. He has a keen eye for beautiful photos and I hope to be able to work with him again soon! Mantas is also the best dressed photographer! read more

Where to start...Mantas is an incredible photographer, professional and human being. Due to a unique situation we had two weddings - and Mantas came for both. His photographs captured our friends and our family as we know them, in their unguarded candid moments. His photographs are beautifully composed and are more than we could have ever hoped for from a photographer. But most importantly, Mantas was as much a guest at our wedding as any other person who attended. His natural affect puts all the guests at ease, and allows him to capture those photographs which will be memories of your friends and loved ones - looking natural and happy (as should be). For our second wedding, Mantas travelled to New Hampshire from Virginia. His flight was cancelled the day before and he DROVE FROM VIRGINIA, to be there. He didn't call to complain, ask for an out - instead he rented a car and came. Because he knew that if he cancelled, there is no backup. What more could you possibly ask for. If you have the opportunity to hire Mantas, do so. If you have an opportunity to meet Mantas, do so. Our wedding would not have been the same without his presence and we would not have the memories we have without his phenomenal photographs. We hired Mantas because of his portfolio and his reviews - believe them both, he is phenomenal!!' read more

I found Mantas Photography online through a long search for photographers in the DC area, and my husband and I really liked his style. What was very appealing is that Mantas has much more of a photo journalist / natural style. Corresponding with Mantas was easy and he was super responsive. My husband and I had a great experience on our photo shoot where we asked him to capture some of our favorite spots in DC. He does an amazing job of capturing the moment instead of just posing and look at the camera. Mantas was professional, funny, and really personable which made the photo shoot feel more natural. We are really happy with the final product now have some amazing photos. Overall, he was truly a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend Mantas, and would certainly work with him again. read more

We hired Mantas to do our wedding photos, and we were thrilled with the results. He was very organized, but he also created a very fun environment. I felt he did a great job of bringing out our personalities and of making us feel comfortable. The actual quality of his photos exceeded our expectations. We have a nice mix of creative and traditional shots, capturing both our wedding party and many guests. Thanks, Mantas! read more

HIGHLY, highly recommended (and I do not use all capitols often). Mantas shot both our engagement photos in Washington D.C and wedding photos in Hawaii. He's not only extremely talented and hard-working, Mantas is down to earth and jives well with anyone. Shooting with him is fun, an adventure, and he adjusts eloquently to bad weather or other mishaps (ie. our engagement venue closed early). I love his natural photography style with a twist / edge. He captures every magical moment and is not afraid to get dirty while doing so. Mantas is not just our photographer, but a good friend. read more

Photography is an art, so first and foremost, I chose Mantas because his photos resonated with the type of photos that I wanted to capture - candid, fun, and unique! I reached out to several photographers, many of who did not reply or used the word "investment" to justify charging an overly high price. Mantas provided the best response time to my questions, his pricing and offerings were very fair, the ordering process was straight forward, and it was a blast working with him! He was very accommodating, and the photo session felt more like an hour of hanging out than awkward poses. Thank you, Mantas! read more

Mantas is the Best Photographer I know! His work speaks for it self. He is professional, responsible and very creative! I used his service several times and I couldn't be happier with the pictures I received. He is funny and makes you feel so comfortable even if you're a little camera shy! Thank you so much Mantas for doing exceptional work and raising the level of professional photography! Rimas read more

There are not enough good things to say about Mantas and his photography skills! We are from Miami, FL and were looking for a photographer to capture our engagement with the beautiful cherry blossoms in DC. We found Mantas Photography on Yelp and looked through the website--we were immediately hooked! Everything we saw was brilliant! We emailed him to request pricing and couldn't believe how affordable he was. Over email we could already tell that he was down to earth and overall a good person. Our intuition proved us right. Once we arrived in DC, Mantas graciously offered to pick us up (and drop us off!) at our hotel to take us to the Tidal Basin (where the cherry blossoms were in peak bloom) for our photo shoot. Mantas brought along his long-time friend Rimas who "used" us a practice run for his new videography business--the result was truly remarkable. Mantas had extensively prepared for our photo shoot--which was so impressive! He spent sometime around the Cherry Blossoms the day before and pre-planned areas where he thought would be great shooting opportunities. He was absolutely excited to come across new photo opps and immediately let his creativity take over--the end result of this was outstanding! We felt at ease while taking the photos and he always encouraged us to "make our magic!" We didn't feel weird despite the massive amounts of people, and Mantas and Rimas were always there to guide us. The only request we had was to look as though there was nothing around us but Cherry Blossoms-- HE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS COMPLETELY! We couldn't be happier with our pictures--they are so much more than what we could have imagined. We are so very grateful to Mantas for capturing this important time in our lives, and most of all we are thankful to have met such wonderful people. We hope that Mantas and Rimas contact us for their next trip to Miami--we certainly look forward to more good times with our two new friends! You can fully trust Montas Photography with your occasion--you most definitely will not be disappointed. read more

Mantas is such a talented photographer. We are so glad that we end up working with him on our wedding day and also our engagement session. My husband is a photographer himself, therefore he was very particular when choosing photographer for our most important day. He was very dedicated when shooting our wedding, and has a great way to control kids of our guests :P. The photo turned out to be sooooooo good!!!!! He not only captured the highlight of the day, but also very nicely framed every detail of the wedding decor. What really amazed me is that every time we look through his photos, they actually brought us back to the day that is full of happiness and joyful tears!!! We couldn't ask for a better photographer for our wedding! read more

Top points for engagement/wedding photography: Price - Extremely competitive price that cannot be beat at all! We shopped around and he had the best price by far for extremely high quality photos! Quality - Amazing quality, especially for the price as I previously stated. He takes unique shots and tries to make every photo stand out! Comfortability - We've never done a "photo shoot/session" so we were very nervous and didn't know what to do really. Mantas was great! He took the lead when he needed to, helped us to relax, and by the end of the session we were very comfortable and having a great time! Mantas was extremely accommodating as our initial date got rained out. We rescheduled on probably one of the hottest days of the summer and he stuck it out with us! I was worried about our photos turning out bad because it was such a hot day and we were sweating like pigs, my makeup was melting, and the sun seemed to be draining our energy quickly but when we got our photos we were in awe. They were fantastic. He is great! He is a little slow at responding to emails but have patience, he is a very busy man understandably! read more

We could not recommend Mantas more highly!!! My fiancé and I knew we wanted to work with Mantas as soon as we saw his portfolio. We were looking for someone who could candidly capture our style and personality as a couple, in the city where we first met (Washington, DC). He did not disappoint in the least! We had the pleasure of spending our first hour in Dupont Circle, and our second at the Capitol Building. He was comfortable in both settings. In fact, Mantas told us right off the bat to pretend he was a fly on the wall, and he made us feel comfortable being ourselves and playing with our surroundings, whether in a casual or formal setting, dressed up or dressed down. On top of that, the final photographs exhibited such ebullience, intensity, and color. We couldn't believe he was able to capture as much as he did in such a short amount of time. And the gallery was ready very quickly. On top of all of this, he was just a pleasure to work with and to talk to. If we weren't getting married across the country, we would definitely hire Mantas to photograph our wedding as well. Truly exceptional photographer. read more

Mantas was absolutely wonderful to work with and our engagement photos came out beautiful! Despite having to reschedule due to weather Mantas made us feel comfortable during our hour long session, which is evident in our photos. Thanks Mantas! :) read more

AMAZING! I had a glorious experience with Mantas Photography and there's not ONE thing I would change about our time together! He took a risk doing my shoot because it's not his norm and I am so glad he did. Mantas made my dream of having high fashion and high energy photos for my 40th birthday celebration come alive. I loved his willingness to take risks and to be creative in the moment! Our best shots were last minute ideas that hit him as we were moving from one location to the next! He was professional, generous with his time and creative. I loved my experience and can't wait to hire him again for my next event! If you're lucky enough to catch him in the DMV or anywhere in the world to capture your special event you are one lucky ducky! I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience and beautiful photos! read more

Mantas is a true professional! I love all our pictures of our wedding and I cannot thank Mantas enough for capturing our special day so perfectly. He is very talented and knows how to capture your special moment in a very unique way. His unique style depicts the pure emotions and turns your pictures into an artistic piece. Another big plus is - Mantas himself! He is very fun to work with and makes picture taking exciting. He captured every single moment so perfectly without actually being in our way. So if you are looking for someone who is fun to work with and turns your pictures into a masterpiece- he is a perfect guy for you. read more

My fiancé and I worked with Mantas for our engagement session in Old Town Alexandria. We took pictures along cobblestone paths and brick alleyways then ended up by the waterfront. Ben (my fiancé) and I were really happy with the session and felt like we'd have at least a few good shots since our surroundings were so beautiful..we got our pictures in just a few days and we were blown away at how beautiful and artistic the photos turned out. We felt like Mantas captured our personalities well and we have a lot of fun/quirky pictures which made the shoot really well rounded. Mantas is awesome to work with and I highly recommend him!!! Thanks again Mantas :) read more

I would highly recommend Mantas. He is profesional and excelent photographer. We were more than happy with pictures.

To find a great photographer is not easy. There are a many great wedding photographers in area. We chose Mantas as photographer to photograph our wedding. He is a great photographer with a wonderful sense of humor and humble personality. I strongly recommend him for everyone. read more

A photoshoot with Mantas is live performance art. Some photographers are masterful technicians, playing with light and colors. Others are like set designers, playing with settings and backdrops. Mantas is more a film-director: he is about people, capturing their most revealing, candid moments. There is not much more other than that I can add to what the others have said here. He never rushes you, he always goes the extra mile--time be damned--and given his talent, his prices are more than reasonable. Furthermore, he's a wonderful, down-to-earth guy, that came to America as a furniture-mover and now is a minor celebrity in his home country :)...the quintessence of the American dream. read more

Mantas is THE BEST engagement photographer! Not only are his photography skills spectacular, but he really cares about the couples he photographs. He made us feel at ease, which you can see by how relaxed and happy we are in our photos. We had actually booked another photographer for the shoot, who had cancelled due to illness at the last minute. We were desperate to find someone to do our shoot before we left DC for the summer, and Mantas dropped his plans to be available for the night. He is a great person who is so fun to be around. If our wedding was in the DC area or if we had known about him sooner, we would definitely hire him for our wedding as well. read more

Look, I haven't used Mantas as a photographer, but I will tell you this: Even after finding out he wasn't available on my wedding day, he spent TWENTY minutes on the phone with me, helping me to figure out to how handle a challenging issue I was facing with my current wedding photographer. Because he was so friendly and helpful and honest, I would definitely hire him. He not only gave me his opinion on how to deal with the situation, he also put me in touch with several other photographers he knew were available on my wedding, AND walked me through the different photography styles so that I could better understand what I liked and had the vocabulary to do so. His photos are beautiful, but most importantly, he is a kind human being with a KEEN interest in making sure his clients are happy. I am realizing the hard way that it's more than just your photographer's photos - their attitude and ability/willingness to work with you (including if you differ in your opinion of what constitutes a "great photo") is absolutely essential, especially for engagement/wedding photos! Mantas certainly seems to fit the bill in that regard. read more

I couldn't have asked for better engagement photos!! The experience was phenomenal and Mantas made us so comfortable (I thought posing would be awkward but it wasn't!). He let us be our natural selves and it showed in the pictures. I love his style, it's unique and fun and he really captures the individual couple he is shooting. I wish I could give him 6 stars that's how great he is!! read more

My wife booked Mantas to photograph our wedding photos and we are very pleased with the results. Outstanding photos! Also, as others have said, Mantas is great person and was really fun to work with. Mantas is an absolutely fantastic engagement and wedding photographer! My husband and I were searching the internet for a photographer in the D.C. area and when we came across his photos, we realized we couldn't pass up hiring him. We were a bit shy starting off and not knowing what to expect, but Mantas made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire engagement session. He has such a friendly, warm, and genuine personality and had us laughing the whole time. He really focuses on capturing your emotion and the joy that comes from the experience, encouraging us to be ourselves with nothing forced. We went to a new location (Basilica of the National Shrine) that is not photographed much, but he embraced the location and captured every thing we love about this special place. We loved working with him so much that we also had him take our wedding photos! He continued to impress us with the wedding photography experience. He captured all of the moments and memories that make the day so special, and encouraged us to enjoy the day without focusing too much on posing or the camera. He blended right in during the ceremony, and during the reception, he brought out the smiles and laughter with the guests. Our families still comment on how much they enjoyed having him there; like he was a family friend that we had known for years! I cannot recommend Mantas highly enough!! He is not only a wonderful photographer but also just a downright genuine and lovely person who is a pleasure to work with. I know you will have blast photographing with him! read more

Mantas is a PHENOMENAL photographer! My fiance and I found him through www.theknot.com. He had some of the most professional photos we had seen. I was shocked when I contacted him and found out how reasonable his rates were! We used Mantas to shoot our engagement photo shoot and our family & friends LOVED his work as well! Mantas is timely, professional, down to earth and creative. I would definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed! read more

Best photographer in Washington DC! We had our engagement photo shoot with Mantas at various monuments around DC and he was able to make our pictures so unique and utilized light to really capture things from a different perspective. He knew where to stop, had a positive attitude and kept things looking natural rather than posed. We love how everything came out! We cannot wait to work with him again. read more

We just did our engagement photo shoot with Mantas. We absolutely love what we got!! After we posted the photos to FB so many of our friends have asked who the photographer is. It is that good!! I found his website through Yelp. Though several of my girlfriends have recommended two other famous photographers in DC, we decided to go with Mantas, after seeing his blog and portfolio. He is really nice to work with. We first scheduled a Thursday afternoon for the photo shoot, but the weather wasn't great and I called 3 hours before and told him my concern. Mantas nicely suggested we reschedule and he wanted us to be worry free. That was the best decision we made. We took the photos on the Columbus day and still got the 100 off deal for weekday. :) read more

Mantas was by FAR the best wedding vendor we worked with--we absolutely loved working with him, and have loved his work so far! We first met him at another friend's wedding, where he took a few candid photos of my husband and me, which we loved so much that we used it for our Save the Date before even hiring him! He was generous enough to fly out to Arizona for our wedding, AND found a second photographer in Arizona despite being based in DC. He worked tirelessly our entire wedding weekend to get action shots, candid photos of our friends and family, AND somehow charmed everyone in the process. As evidenced by his many awards, he is a star in the making and I can't recommend him highly enough. We can't wait for our final wedding photos!!! read more

Mantas did all of the wedding photography for our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. He did a stellar job as wedding photographer and we would recommend them to anyone. During the event he were timely and professional, working quietly and quickly and never drawing attention to themselves or demanding attention from us. He worked hard all night, taking only a quick meal break and staying later than agreed to get a few more shots of the reception. The photos looked great, even in our very low-light reception hall, with a good combination of creative and straightforward compositions: we were very impressed. Thank you Mantas for all the beautiful pictures! We love them all! read more

Mantas is a very gifted photographer with a great imagination. During our session, Mantas displayed his creativity by taking photographs in a variety of settings and neighborhoods. For instance, he photographed us in a modern art museum and used the geometric shapes, lighting, and structures to create clever photographic illusions and remarkably beautiful images. While taking photographs in Georgetown, Mantas displayed his skills for utilizing ordinary objects and backdrops to create very impressive images. Not only is he a skilled and creative photographer, Mantas is a very charismatic individual with a great sense of humor. He made our photo shoot enjoyable! Overall, we would highly recommend Mantas' services to anyone who is open to taking photographs with a creative and interesting twist. read more

Most friendly and welcoming photographer ever, When looking online for a photographer his pictures stood out to me rather than all the rest because all the examples he had to show were all so different and unique. My fiancé and I had never taken professional pictures together before so we didn't know exactly what to do and Mantas helped us so much with posing and making it easier to relax! It also took him no time to get the pictures edited and into our hands, they turned out absolutely amazing we couldn't be happier. Would for sure recommend him as the best photographer in Washington. We will definitely use his service again. read more

Mantas did an amazing job as our engagement photographer! We are new to the DC area and didn't really know where we wanted to have our photos done. As soon as we contacted Mantas, he was with us every step of the way and made great suggestions as to where we should do our photos. Ultimately, with his help, we decided to have a formal shoot at Tidal Basin and a casual shoot at Union Station. Taking engagement pictures can be quite the awkward experience, but Mantas made us feel comfortable and within 5 minutes we were laughing and having an awesome time. Pictures came out beautiful - better than we could have ever imagined. He delivered them promptly within a week after the shoot. Overall, it was such a great experience and we are so happy we chose Mantas to capture this special moment in our lives. He is amazing! read more

First, I have to say: we LOVE Mantas. He was seriously one of the most fun parts of planning our wedding and I honestly can't imagine our wedding day without him (I know that sounds a little extreme, but really the vendors you hire are a huge part of your day!). I started emailing with Mantas over a year ago when a friend of mine recommended him to me after her wedding, and I immediately appreciated how friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable he was. Being an out of town bride, we actually ended up signing with Mantas before we even met him because I appreciated our interactions that much (and I knew from my friend and his Instagram that he did amazing work). A couple of great things that we also really liked about Mantas was that he offered a free engagement photo session (which, sense we're from out of town, ended up using for our rehearsal), that he gave us a discount on a photo booth (one of our guest's favorite part of our wedding), and that he let us set up a monthly payment plan (why pay it all up front if you don't have to?). On the day of the wedding, Mantas was on time, so incredibly laid back, calm, funny, and frankly just a joy to have there. His assistant immediately came in and got right to business starting to take the staged photos with my dress and accessories, and our rings. Mantas just talked to me as we began to get comfortable with each other and probably at least a half a dozen times that day, I told him that I was so thankful that he was there because I was having fun with him just being around and all of my bridesmaids agreed (when I saw my now husband, he said the same thing about Mantas). At the end of the night, the whole wedding party was sad to see Mantas go and he's one of the things that we'll miss most about the wedding planning process. All around, we had an A++ experience, wonderful time, and great memories. I couldn't recommend Mantas more and we can't wait to get the finals back, which we have no doubt will be fantastic. read more

After researching Mantas' work, I knew he was the one to capture this special occasion for us. We booked engagement and wedding photos with him. So far we only completed the engagement shoot. He is super creative, fun and easy going. The pictures turned out amazing! I am so excited to see how our wedding photos will turn out. I will update my review after March 2019 when we have our wedding photos. If you are into edgy, cool, different and just fun photos, he is the guy for you. read more

We had such a great time getting our engagement photos taken! Mantas is so nice and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend Mantas. read more

Mantas was the best photographer that we could have asked for with our engagement photos and wedding.
